She is not a fighter but it takes more than just battle power to be respected in DB universe.
Not just her but the other female (main) cast as well they just had this intimidation factor over everyone else.
And who else can literally smack the God of destruction' head and gets away with it. XD

The DB crew wouldn't nothing without her that's for sure. This is a well edited video, loved it.
btw you should explore other platforms and link this video if you wanna promote yourself out there more.

Another awesome video as always. I never quite took into account just how crazy good her inventions are. A small capsule that can contain homes and vehicles, time travel, item location devices. It's all overshadowed by the series with it's super powerful, world-ending aliens and gods, but yeah, Bulma would be really indispensable in other anime.
I think that I would go with the @MasakoX route and have her build some type of suit or armor that would put her in a fighting level field with the main characters, since this is a series about taking on the current Big Bad of the season.

I mean, Bulma did survived in a battle field with Broly, SSGSS Gogeta and Golden Frieza in a destroyed Arctic terrain turned into a volcanic ruins. So, you got that as an achievement as well. I think Mrs. Briefs would slay in the Megaman Legends franchise.

I share the idea that Bulma has been quite underrated in Dragon Ball Z and onwards. I don't think that Bulma's "true potential" is in being "a more powerful scientist". Bulma the problem she has is that she is vain, somewhat conceited, and she is content to just do enough... she wants to be the big shot in the little pond. She at the beginning, in Dragon Ball, was much more fighter (but she was very coward too) and she had the opportunity to learn to fight and study or manipulate KI. But she didn't, partly because Roshi was horny but she might as well keep him at bay, but she didn't want to try so hard because she knew she wasn't going to excel at it. Also, she is quite selfish or short-sighted, as I have not seen that what she has discovered with alien technology has tried to sell to people to improve the life or conditions of the earthlings in front of the aliens (the capsule things is his father's creation, and surely that's what made his family rich and famous). I'm sure that a KI meter or alien clothes would sell very well because Krillin himself when testing the alien clothes complained that it was unfair that Vegeta faced them wearing such comfortable clothes while they were wearing normal Earth clothes (and that the Kame House uniform looks super baggy). What lack of creativity or curiosity that Bulma has shown, was she never interested in reproducing the effects of the healing seeds? That alone would revolutionize medicine. And she was never interested in studying the KI as how was interested in that Dr. Gero? The "full potential" version of Bulma that I would prefer would be one where she tries to at least study or learn KI... at least enough to be able to eject and basically manipulate it (to fly or levitate things or generate little KI balls like Videl) with that, even if she did not continue to strive, at least she could continue studying that energy and how to create devices that would make it easy to control it. With that perhaps she could invent batteries to store KI (since the androids and Cell showed that KI energy can be stored, Cell at first only dedicated himself to absorbing the KI of various towns and cities and only with that he reached a power of several million... just by adding human KI, which on average seems to be 5 KI points) and a gun that fires a concentrated KI beam like a laser (we all know that highly concentrated KI in a small space can be very deadly even without much power (Kiensan, Makankusapo)).
On the other hand: things like spaceships, fighting power meters, or space trooper combat armor from Frieza's army were already high-tech objects that she had to strain to study and reproduce or repair... and it's one thing to imitate something and another is to know how to improve it (it must be seen that if any scientist today, in our world, found himself with a super technological armor or clothing, he might not even be able to study it. Very recently we are discovering about graphene, and other forms of create materials by manipulating how the atoms of those materials are placed... if you do not have devices with which you can do that you could not reproduce it, you would have to invent several things before being able to do things to make better use of space, imagine bringing a current gamer video card (RTX 3060, for example) to scientists from 1950 or 1960... a whole team of scientists would have to get together and maybe they'd spend a couple of decades studying it, and that's technology only a few decades apart (by the way, computers from the 50s or 60s took up whole rooms and were less complex and powerful than any calculator today)). Something more realistic would have been that by studying the space armor Bulma could have created inferior versions of it but that were still much better than any clothing of Earth (this reminds me of kevlar, a modern bulletproof vest that is a few layers of fabric that can imitate the function of bulletproof vests being much lighter and more comfortable), in the case of the combat power meter it would have been more realistic for Bulma, studying it, to invent a device that was a helmet connected to a computer that had to be carried in a van. Akira was much more realistic with how he dealt with the spacecraft issue, as Bulma's father (because as far as I know, Bulma didn't help with that) studying the saiyajin microships he created a much bigger and rougher version... but what it is far more advanced than anything on Earth.

Bulma could easily make an andriod that would surpass goku and vegeta.....she might even surpass beerus. Time manipulation + andriod + gravity control+ destruction energy absorption = game over

@@equanimity92 I feel like gohan should have taken over bulma's role or atleast become an assistant of hers in some ways. If the writers want gohan to be a nerd...than..why not make him a useful nerd?

@@masterkc Now theres a interesting idea! I can definitely see what you're saying about him being somewhat of a protege' for Bulma too, seeing as he is alot smarter than his dad and some of the other characters. Personally I really feel they should have stuck to their guns too when they tried to pass the torch to Gohan in the Cell Saga. Gohan really is such a missed opportunity in almost every way

@@equanimity92 passing the torch to gohan was awesome for the story but for marketing...it was not..especially with the soft gohan we got. Goku was the more lovable and inspiring character compared to gohan in my view. But...the great saiyaman definitely had potential, I noticed he brought the world of dragonball back to the ground. We had lots of world building and met interesting characters along the way. I would have loved to see great saiyaman re-visit the orphanage kids again - as well as characters from original dragonball. Huge missed opportunity indeed...in dbs they have a chance for great saiyaman to join the galaxy petrol with jaco but it's never gonna happen.

@@masterkc You know what you really have some fantastic insight and ideas on things. 😎 I really appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts and support like that. I like that idea about Gohan as great saiyaman joining up with the galactic patrol. Him, Jaco and Bulma as the Pilot/Spaceship Mechanic would really make an epic team. Heck, they could even bring Videl and Pan along for the ride too and spawn a spinoff/sidestory still within the DB Universe running parallel to the main story in Universe 7. And whats this...I notice you have G.T.O. profile and name? 😱another excellent series and one of my Top Favourite animes as well, I might add! haha
