Ah, it makes me happy to see people playing Burtons so well, I love Burton but it's rarely used for marimba pieces. Good job, by the way! I'm learning this piece as well.
I really like this video. Probably the best one on TH-cam. You don't slam the mallets like others do, and very musical.

damn i did this as a junior for S&E and it was tough, and we were one of the best percussion sections in ohio. you must be fantastic, props
what mallets did you use for this performance??
I used the medium hard violet Good Vibes (M237)

It's a choice what you play first two measure or it's wrong ?The rest between first triplet and second is 1/8 , you do 1/4 . right ?

That is a 4.3 for sure. look at the low B flat its the mark of a 4 and 1/3.
actually a 4 and a half i believe
At the beginning it's slow but i totally understand cuz going from low octave to high octve it HARD! Espescialy in frogs.
props for playing this whole thing cross grip. though you should really learn stevens, it'll make your life infinity times easier
Michael Ayers a lot of people know burton and stevens, and choose either they prefer for the piece :)
