I see a lot of negative comments on this guys performance. His voice was in key with the song, he showed passion and owned it. How could you say he did anything but a phenomenal job??? I guess there are a lot of music illiterates commenting

There may have been a point in time where he was skinny or more toned than he is currently, and that he is now skimming past 40, so things start to look a bit more mature. he might have put on weight when his wife had children, or lost a job, or stress at work, too many factors.
