A lot of scale rc heli polits needs to learn for this guy . This is how you fly a scale helicopter . Perfect speed and manuvers . I must aplaud you Sr . You did it justist .
I enjoy watching this so much more than crazy 3D flying. I first started RC helis in 1983 with an Ishimasa Sky Lark electric heli. I then progressed to Kalt Baron 28, GMP Cobra, Heim Star Ranger, and finally Miniature Aircraft XCell 60. I was also test/development pilot for the Lite Machines LMH-100/LMH-110 in the early 1990s.
Wow, you are outstanding, very neat indeed, what an impressive skills you have, so nice of you to share it with us, from the endless summer paradise Puerto Rico, Jesús Torres
Thanks, everyone! This was a labor of love that has served me well for over 12 years. Vario Bell 47 conversion kit over Vario Benzin trainer mechanics. Zenoah G-23, Futaba CGY750 and servos. I always enjoy flying this machine - and it attracts a crowd when I do!
Smoothest RC helicopter flight I've ever watched. That is a gorgeous model of an icon. The infamous Bell 47. I wonder if there are any RC 47J's flying around?
wonderful model - that geezer with the rc is jst standing watching - the wee soldier guy in the pilot seats doing all da flying!!! - really, its so well flown and it all looks to scale - a really magnificent bird and so well flown 😁😁😁🚁🚁🚁
Wow nice vid!!! Coincidence or not but I'm currently watching the M.A.S.H. series again on television and the scale look & flight of the Bell heli looks very realistic!!! Well done & greetings from Belgium!
Thanks Geert! My friend Marsh does beautiful work and is an excellent pilot, both fixed wing and rotary. Don't forget to watch the original movie M*A*S*H, a classic from 1972.
@@vintagecornet Heya Nick, tell your friend Marsh that I really liked his flight A LOT!!! We sometimes have heli pilots at our field but they don't fly around, just hoovering in one place is really dull actually
i think another great advancement would be to have actual engines to properly make it more realistic. the moki engines get more radial deep throaty. so if you built cessna 310 identical engine just in miniature same with this bell. fuel tanks aren’t fake you put av gas in them unless you can convert to model fuel nitro the cyclic moves the collective the throttle but to start go electronic. prime etc. other tank either oil or extra fuel what ever the original had.
One time when Marsh flew this chopper at a warbird event, we piped the theme ("Suicide is Painless" by Johnny Mandel) through the PA system. It was perfect!

I will forward your comment to Marsh DeHart, the builder/pilot of this helicopter. I couldn't agree more.
Thanks so much!
Love that style of flying. So smooth brilliant job .
Excellent job.. The engine sounds perfect.
Beautiful machine and a smooth pilot.

So quiet! I thought it was electric until the end of the video. Great flight...GREAT Helicopter!!
Vario benzin mechanics. The best out there ! Great flight 👏
That's how a helicopter should be flown. Excellent. 😊

always liked that Dragonfly look on Helicopters!

Beautiful model of one of our favorites. Nice scale flying as well (although a tad fast on a couple of straights).
I used to dream of having a model just like this as a kid

I’m not aware of any, but that doesn’t mean they don’t exist
Excellent!

I thought they used Huey's on MASH. No? I would've like to see the startup and take off.
Where can I buy this awesome kit?
The mechanics and fuselage kits are both from Vario USA
Where did you get this from Im sure you build it from scratch where would I obtain the parts from ?

All you need is the MASH title music (damn copyright). ;-)
