I have had the key board for more than 2 years -- it is through your video that I am able to begin to understand the controls. Very appreciative of your effort -- sure beats reading the dry manual.
Hi, what I show here is just how to use the styles (rhythms) on Yamaha MM6. But you cannot use Akai XR20 rhythms inside Yamaha MM6. They are different machines. You can play them separatelly. Regards!
Thank you for posting the MM6 videos. The best that I have seen, and I have seen quite a few. Would you help me understand how to use the memory stick. I want to pre-record the keyboard part of some songs that will can be played when I sing during live performances. Is that possible? Thanks again.
@XxPsycho6dpkxX See how I connected it: MM6 -> mixer -> audio interface -> computer. You don't really need a mixer, so you can just do: MM6 -> audio interface -> computer. No idea if you can do it good without the audio interface. So this way you can record in any program. No matter FL Studio or Cubase or whatever.
I am not a musician - I am a programmer. Unfortunately MM6 cannot be programmed. So for illustration I did the very simple thing. If you can play live the "Sabre dance", please be my guest.

Thanks for taking this time to explain in detail. A lot of help. The manual sent me to sleep before I could remember anything. ;-)

I'm planning to buy this keyboard, but I need to know if you can connect it from the headphone jack out directly to a keyboard amp ?
