Still holding up great. Just used them taking out some Michigan rusted 08 Ranger shocks and had them bending from so much torque but they're still working just fine.
I have the regular combination ratcheting wrenches from them, and I've been quite happy with them, especially for the price. Good quality tools at an excellent price point for the home gamer.
Yeah, surprisingly I still haven't had any issues at all. I've even got a follow up video I need to post where I was really cranking on/abusing a couple of them on rusted suspension components. I would look on amazon/contact them to see what the process is. Please let us know what you do find out.
I have these in the Gear Drive brand but they're exactly the same the case is even the same colors as that one just says Gear Drive instead of door tech. Let them off eBay but they were in a brand new sealed box
Yeah, Duratech started out as GearDrive but I think faced some legal issues for being too similar to GearWrench or something and had to change the name.
I have this long set, 75 degree offset and the flex head set all in metric. They have held up and if have not been easy on them. The offset wrenches are great and duratech wrenches tend to be on the long side. I like the extra leverage and no complaints at all so far. For the price it seems to be a good deal so far. The wrenches are the only product ive tried
I saw that. They had Teq wrenches half off earlier this week or last week. Can't remember which. Thought about picking something up just to check the brand out. I just don't really need anything.
My personal experience has been good with duratech wrenches, power torque extra long ratchets, tekton ratchets and impact sockets. STAY AWAY FROM TITAN anything! No warranty and they are cheap crap. The other brands are cheap but I like the quality. Great Neck just sent me a new 1/2 inch ratchet that was 10 years old. Granted the new ratchet was oem tools brand but it seems just as good as the ratchet that held up for 10 years to abuse.
Still going strong. Even though I have nicer wrenches, these are my go to every time just because I want to see how they hold up. So far no issues still.
@@narcissistinjurygiver2932 Yup, still going strong. Recently used them on some Michigan rusted suspension bolts on my 08 Ranger basically trying to break them and they did the job and still work fine.
That's the conclusion I came to as well. However, like I said in the video, I did put a fair amount of torque on the 12mm and it held up. So as long as they're not abused I think they'll hold up.
It would of been better if one end had a slight extension so you can get on a bolt head which can not be reached with a flat surface. Such as trying to fit any bolts on a transverse engine when needing to remove any of the various bolts which can not be reached with a socket
Yeah, but I've got some astro pneumatic nano sockets that can be driven using these as well as a ratchet to accomplish just what you're talking about. Makes for a super low profile but still some offset like you said for the times when that's needed.
knockoff mountain wrenches are great until you break them trying to use then normally! there is no point in buying a set of wrenches if you needs to break all bolts loose prior to their usage, it just defeats the purpose
Well maybe so. But the same could be said for all ratcheting wrenches whether they're cheap knock off brands, mountain, or even Snap-On. By design, they're just really not meant to break fasteners loose without risking damage to the ratcheting mechanism no matter the quality level. But I will say I have always broken everything loose with these ones just because I don't care about them and I want to really put them to the test and see how they hold up. And surprisingly, no issues so far.
Hope I have luck with them just bought them have you broke one yet
Nope, still going strong and I've definitely abused them at this point.
Can we get a 1 year later update?

You didn't mentioned on the video...that they are (Lifetime warranty...!)

Glad to hear your experience has been the same.
I broke 2 13 mm but i dont know how to get the warranty on tham but the 13 mm the gear broke on me

@@mcmoto5424 oh that's interesting I didn't know that. I guess I got Old stock that had the old name they were trying to clear out
How are they holding up today? I'm considering buying them.
Thank you!
Still holding up just fine. Haven't had a single problem yet.
I WAS ABOUT TO HEAT THEM,,,BUT AFTER I SAW THEY HAD THE SCREWS IN THE HEADS THEY ARE SOME ABOVE AVERAGE WRENCHS . THANKS FOR THE REVIEW !!!!!!!!!!!!

Advance has teq socket sets half off starting today btw

How are those wrenches holding up today? Thinking about buying them to use in the shop. For the money looks like a good deal.

I don't know if the pin can take a lot of torque by the way it flexes. They look good and I like the 12 point design also.

I take a grinder to my ratchets that don't fit on the fastener
Lol, can't say I haven't done something like that. I just prefer not to defile my tools I'd possible.
Look alot like Capri colors and all
Yeah, pretty similar.
👍 🔧
Also, subbed!
Yeah watch out for Orion brand, the stuff is crap trust me.

@@mcmoto5424 Use the gearwrench 120xp set then. Try the box end first then the ratcheting box end.
