Solution to the problem :
Here’s my solution to the problem:
As we notice that the flite has reached before it even departed, which means there is a time zone difference between the places:
Let’s say hawaii is t time behind wellington:
Let’s say time taken by flight is f hours
From first condition -
f-t = - 3
Also
f +t = 41
Time taken by flite is 19 hours
And the timezome difference comes to be 22 hours,
Hence if it’s currently 10 pm in wellington in newzeland,
It will be 12 am of the same day in hawaii at that time :)
It is example of a time difference caused by crossing the International Date Line, which runs roughly along the 180° longitude meridian in the Pacific Ocean.
Wellington to Hawaii (Outbound):
The aircraft departs Wellington at 5.00 p.m. on Friday.
It travels 4,100 miles westward toward Hawaii.
Due to the time zones and the Earth's rotation, it arrives in Hawaii at 2.00 p.m. on the same Friday.
This seemingly quick journey is possible because the aircraft is essentially "chasing" the setting sun across the Pacific Ocean. It gains hours as it moves westward, which allows it to arrive earlier in the day than when it departed.
Hawaii to Wellington (Return):
The aircraft departs Hawaii at 6.00 p.m. on Friday.
It travels 4,100 miles eastward back to Wellington.
However, when it crosses the International Date Line heading east, it effectively "jumps" ahead by one day.
This leap over the International Date Line results in the aircraft arriving in Wellington at 11.00 a.m. on Sunday, skipping an entire day (Saturday) in the process. It appears as if the return journey took longer, but this is because the aircraft crossed the Date Line and experienced a time shift.
So, the key to understanding this time difference is the International Date Line, which causes the aircraft to experience different local times and even days during its journey.
In simple terms Imagine you're on an airplane flying from Wellington to Hawaii. When you fly west towards Hawaii, you're actually going backward in time a little because of the way the world's time zones work. So, even though you left Wellington on a Friday at 5.00 p.m., you arrive in Hawaii on the same Friday at 2.00 p.m. This happens because you're kind of "chasing" the sun.
Now, when you fly back from Hawaii to Wellington, you cross something called the International Date Line. This imaginary line on the map is where the date changes. So, even though you left Hawaii on a Friday at 6.00 p.m., you arrive in Wellington not on Saturday but on Sunday at 11.00 a.m. because you've essentially jumped forward a whole day when you crossed that line. This is why it seems like the return journey took longer, but it's really about how time zones and the International Date Line work.

t(w-h) = difference in time zone = flight + 3 hrs (since flight reached at 2pm same day ) -(1)
now, the returning flight took a total of 41hrs ( flight time + difference in time zone )
i.e. flight + t(w-h) = 41hrs -(2 )
from 1 and 2 ;
flight time is = 19hrs and t(w-h) = 22hrs

19 hours , International Date Line is the reason for this. When an aircraft is moving towards east region of Idl it looses a day and it gains a day while it is moving towards west region.
How 19? Show calculations pls
Wellington (in SW) which is 22hrs ahead of Hawai (NE US) SO WHEN A person leaves Wellington at 5pm .. he has to travel a certain distance and it will take some time, and he already is ahead 22hrs… so lets say his travelling time is 19hrs…so this 19hrs will be subtracted from 22hrs and he he reaches at 2pm on the same day that is Friday.
On the other hand, when he leaves Hawaii at 6pm on friday, his travelling time i,e. 19hrs will be added in 22hrs(explained earlier… when a person crosses date line from west to east he gains a day(here 22hrs)).. so that will be 41hrs…now add 40hrs in 6pm friday time.. you will get around 11am om sunday.
Wellington is 22 hours ahead is not mentioned anywhere !! Solve without using additional information please :)

Day and date will be decided by International date line while time is decided by GMT because of which aircraft leaves Hawaii at 6pm on Friday and reaches Wellington at 11 am on Saturday

As, Speed = distance/time and distance is same in both cases also, speed is same of both flight and earth's rotation, therefore using time to form equation (i) F+E = -3 (-3 comes from 5PM -minus 2PM) (considering Flight is flying in reverse direction of earth rotation; i.e ; inertia frame mein it will add to flight)
and (ii) F-E=41 (considering on return the flight is traveling in direction of earth rotation) F: Flight time considering earth at rest, E: Earth regular rotation time @@amonbhaiiit-d1953
