Preservation Society CEO Trudy Coxe Interviews Mary Miley Theobald

Mary Miley Theobald is a historian and freelance writer who has lectured on the origins of the Christmas Tree, a topic she discusses with Trudy in this interview during our holiday edition of "Inside The Newport Mansions." She received her B.A. and M.A. from the College of William and Mary, worked for Colonial Williamsburg for many years, and taught American history and museum studies at Virginia Commonwealth University. Mary has written 15 non-fiction books, nine historical mysteries, and 200 articles for a variety of magazines and newspapers. In 2012, her Roaring Twenties murder mystery, "The Impersonator," won the Mystery Writers of America national award for Best First Crime Novel.
