I sing along and get emotionally and spiritually connected to what is happening currently in my life and in the world. Her music is a healing force for me. Love you Susan and Family. Once they found out her birthday, they were freaked out and said she’s DEFINITELY Janis Joplin reincarnated. They also wanted her to do a Janis biopic but Susan said no
Since I'm a die-hard Janis fan, I've heard many renditions - mostly mediocre to say the least. I've also been following Susan Tedeschi for about 2.5 years and I found this rendition of Janis's Kozmic Blues. And I have to agree with a few of the comments in here: this is possibly the ONLY version that is second to Janis's. Simply the best and superbly arranged piece. This one has on my rewind for the past 2 days. Can't get enough of it.

But I have been following you for a few years...and this performance is climactic! Your voice burns through and lights me up. Suttle and burning, charging, demanding, small and yet large and present...burning. Hats off, you are REALLY near to it! Your maturity makes it all the while!!! Very moving!
