Hey jimmy, I’ve had a few of these vans in lately with similar issues with blocked dpf etc. and no real fault causing it to happen. After a bit of homework, head scratching and looking around I found the pat fluid tank has been empty. I didn’t even realise these vans had that on them. It’s under the passenger side step. Every one that’s been in with similar faults this tank has been empty all around 120k , 240k . Refill reset and drive on . I’m not saying your van has the same fault but it’s worth keeping in mind as this has fooled me more than once . Great content and I look forward to seeing more headaches in the future . Good luck 👍
Certainly worth a look on my van. I have a Citroen Dispatch with DPF issues; they've been going on for the last few months. I've had flushes and investigations done with the last one being a throttle body replacement costing me almost a grand, but within a few miles I get the P1445 error flag up again. If I drive the van hard, it goes into limp and flags up P0234 and P0299 errors. It's a massive pain in my arse, and it seems so few garages know what they're doing with DPFs and the induction system in the main. Even when it's running something-like normally, it seems gutless...
How they can be allowed to put a dpf counter on the ecu that tells you to replace thousands of pounds worth of work is a joke! Great work as always I don’t like touching diesels your a champion !
Love your work Jim. Think it’s disgusting that manufacturers can put timers on things like that. Whenever I need something done on my van I’ll be coming to you!!! I’ve just done a camper conversion and I bought a vw crafter because you drive one!!
That adds an excellent example to your track record. And, if you only drive in the city, the DPF will get clogged very fast, even with a car in perfect conditions.
Great video. That is a high milage so long journeys ? I suspect those who do lots of low milage journeys might get less. I had to get a new dpf and cat exhaust on my 15 year old car because my system rotted through it was so old ! It was just getting near 120K as well and I would have given you a call. Ah well.
Hi just wanted to say is it not unusual for those Peugoet Boxers to have the same engine after 120,000 miles most I've seen have had a new engine or major engine work carried out by then great content Jimmy
The transits seem to be more prone to cracking pistons...done one last month..apparently it had ford software updates intended to prevent this. On the boxer,Citroen,Ducati only had some with exhaust cam and rocker arms gone bad..
Great work Jimmy is this van a Euro 5 or Euro 6? If it's a 6 then it gives me some hope with mm vehicle, great to see its proved all the naysayers wrong to as 3 DPF's would cost a bit to replace.
Just curious as to why this DPF blocked at all? The van clearly does long journeys, doesn't appear to tootle around town, I thought that the regen would have just kept the DPF free flowing? And that replacement timer that Peugeot have built in is a real scam. Nice work though.
Ive got a 14 plate 2.0 litre diesel jim, not all the time but occasionaly it smokes or soots out the back, is this the cars way of getting rid of regen stuff. 99% of the time it runs like a train no smoke or soot. I was starting to think maybe turbo issues car is on 126k. No fault codes could it be a sensor someplace. It had a new vaporiser last year so i cant see it being that any thoughts or ideas jim
130k between too dpf blockages is very impresseive! Always love watching your work
Thank you!

It's already been filled at another garage

Good advice
130.000 miles between dpf clean is very good. Fair play jimmy 👌
I dread to imagine how much the owner could have spent if they hadn't seeked you out 2 years ago 😢
Brilliant work 👏
Jimmy this has to be your best example of cleaning a dpf, proof is in the pudding shall we say 👍
Haven't even touched a DPF yet 🤣 knowledge is power 👍🪛🛠️
Thanks for sharing Jimmy
Right on
Looking forward to part 3, "Return of the Peugeot" in a couple of years time.
Great job Jimmy.
wow ! at 35k miles I already had a very charged dpf, 130k miles is amazing
How they can be allowed to put a dpf counter on the ecu that tells you to replace thousands of pounds worth of work is a joke!
Great work as always I don’t like touching diesels your a champion !
They say it's a filter, like an oil filter and should be replaced on a schedule.
MIL light counters are part of EU regulations
100k from a clean... pretty good value for money in my opinion
Thanks Jimmy this is a great example of your work.

This was the first video
Looks like a decent DPF clean lasted a lot longer than an aftermarket DPF would have!
Exactly aftermarket dpf are used and recondition dpf anyway using cleaning

In today's episode, Jimmy works on the Starship Enterprise! 😁
130,000 miles in 2 years. 😆
Another informative video. Thanks for the back story on this one. A very reasonable time/mileage between cleanings.
Here is the old video th-cam.com/video/8bLC1P2mM-8/w-d-xo.html

😮 credit to your excellent work Jimmy 👏
Great video, AGAIN, Jimmy!!
Great video. That is a high milage so long journeys ? I suspect those who do lots of low milage journeys might get less. great job , this proves that your service works , keep going
Do people expect it to last forever ?? Great video as usual.
When these vans announce the DPF needs replacing do they stop doing regens
Yes. Any Citroen/Peugeot that has a timer, the moment the timer runs out, you will get a engine light on the dash and because of that, no more regens.
Hi mate. Do you cover east london / essex at all?
What tablet are u using, ? Launch?
I wish launch had the dpf cleaner available in the US . Seems like you have great luck with it.
Maybe one day!
brilliant, booked my van in to be mapped , good idea or not ❔ im not sure now ive booked it 😬
Jimmy what distance between regeneration is a good value
Hi just wanted to say is it not unusual for those Peugoet Boxers to have the same engine after 120,000 miles most I've seen have had a new engine or major engine work carried out by then great content Jimmy
Surprisingly this is all original even the adblue system has never had parts replaced. Customer only fills adblue from pump
The transits seem to be more prone to cracking pistons...done one last month..apparently it had ford software updates intended to prevent this.
On the boxer,Citroen,Ducati only had some with exhaust cam and rocker arms gone bad..
Are they the 2 Tonne Halfords ramps you use for the vans Jimmy ?
Great work Jimmy is this van a Euro 5 or Euro 6? If it's a 6 then it gives me some hope with mm vehicle, great to see its proved all the naysayers wrong to as 3 DPF's would cost a bit to replace.
Euro 6
Amazing work how much would you charge roughly for this service as I have the same van and was thinking of getting it done once she hits 100k
Hi Jimmy can I by the DPF spray cleaner gun in the unit states
That vans been busy ay. Tell him to get some cetane in the tank will help it last longer between cleans
Just curious as to why this DPF blocked at all? The van clearly does long journeys, doesn't appear to tootle around town, I thought that the regen would have just kept the DPF free flowing? And that replacement timer that Peugeot have built in is a real scam. Nice work though.
I forgot to mention it had a turbo fault previously

EGR possibly
Good job good man 👍🏻
Time for an O'Rileys warranty void if sticker removed for the dpf pipes
This guy obviously drives and maintains his vehicle correctly ....
Top job Jimmy and you tell how it is......I bet no garage explains this to anyone 👍
Thanks
There's the proof M'Lud.
hope jo's mondeo wasnt to bad a job today
You could fit a brand new dpf it wouldn't last 130k! What are the clowns saying? That's amazing it lasted that long!
65k a year, he must live on the road
For a LWB, its nothing, I do 2.8k a WEEK, its what these vans are made for.
Ita actually lasting "the recommended service period for a DPF" (120+k)
.
Saving a fortune.....?
A warranty job then
😂😂😂. It’s just a feckin clean
Lasting longer than 6 new DPFs on an Ingenium engine😅😅
130k miles in 2 years...
He's a courier
Fuck the haters jim
sorted out
