This album had me with my eyes wide open O_O Specially the penultimate track. So much subtle, mysterious beauty. Like exploring a vast, dense jungle and coming across ruins of a long forgotten civilization, so ancient there are no records about it. Only faint psychic echoes that keep on resonating in amidst the chaos and the madness of the present day and time.
This is a nice LP. Haco definitely likes Kate Bush, he he he! :-) Here's my Haco blah = One of the times I saw her live was in Kyoto (i think...perhaps Osaka) and she did a 20 minute stylophone solo. No effects. No vocals. No extra musicians or songs/tracks. That was it It was also very quiet (I'm not even certain that it was amplified through the PA speakers) Plus it was not a cheap entry price for that mighty performance. I was equally impressed and appalled, so I got a photo taken with her to cement in my memory this glorious occurrence. That is the only time I have made the effort to get my photo taken with any artist/musician that I admire.
May somehow these Japanese albums be available online after our species cease to exist. Things like that are meant to be preserved as something sacred and magical.
@@unabonger777 Huh? If the whole mankind dies tomorrow and our planet will get discovered by aliens in hundreds of years and they would only learn one artifact of our culture, what would you choose - that album, or some shitty song by taylor swift?
Exactly what I was thinking. Haco, especially with After Dinner, is like a Japanese Kate Bush with more avant garde production. Wonder if they were ever aware of each other. I assume they had mutual appreciation for each other. Björk has likely been taking a page from her book too.
なにこれぇええええええ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ガチ天才じゃん・・・。今まで聴いたどんな曲より身の毛がよだつ、鳥肌が立つ。
Good on you for sharing this classic album, virtually unknown in the west
I saw here life in Gent, Belgium round 1998.

This record is incredible. Reminds me of the Kate Bush record "The Dreaming" quite a bit.

ces beautés n'ont pas pris une ride... une très belle et très personnelle aventure musicale...
Timeless!
This was way ahead of its time for 1989 but idk its just very majestic and out there. Sounds like it could have been composed recently.

Laurie Anderson
Laurie Anderson is a useful comparison because of the usage of tape effects and found sounds.
nice music awfull language and phonetics
