Aquaman having his mothers Trident have been explained in aquaman movie. He started to use the Trident when he was young. I think he abandon it for some time and vulko found it and gave him back.
It's said in aquaman that some of the people from Atlantis can't breath air. So I understand why they use a air bubble that way people can't hear them.
How's that confusing, those last 30 minutes alone are the best I've seen of superhero movies, please we need to get at least a sequel, how Lois Lane dies, how everything goes wrong, Jared Leto joker, god damn, what did I see, it's brilliant
About Aquaman's trident: It DOES make sense that he has his mother's trident in BvS. We see in the flashbacks of Aquaman that he was trained by Vulko. During the training, they use that trident. In the BvS footage, they get interrupted during a training session. We only see Arthur. Still, Aquaman contradicts quite alot of things from Zack Snyder's Justice League. We can all "thank" WB for that. They shat all over their continuity.
to me the reason is because in Aquaman he was upset that he can't see his mother. Which probably gets him so upset feeling abandoned. Then probably doesn't want to train or hold the trident any longer leaving it with vulko. But WB screwed continuity up too because in one movie he does feel abandoned & in aquaman he seems to understand what happen to a degree. But I like to believe he got fed up.

This movie was OFF the charts awesome imo. The first was so typical slap stick lame hollywood but this version really does DC justice. I wish they made more like this.

Not really. The full version of batman vs superman was good. The Justice league Synder cut is amazing. It's really been the theatrical releases in which the creators have been restricted in the expression of their vision that haven't been the best. The superman movie was decent as well. I believe the WB execs are trying too hard to emulate Marvels tone. They ruined wonder woman with that 1984 movie that fortunately for them was released around the covid outbreak, helping them blame it's failure on closed theatres and not the fact it's the worst movie out of the DCEU along with the Clooneys batman which was also the result of execs trying to make batman less dark and more kid friendly. At some point, they'll have to realise they have a different identity and make it work for them.
What confuses me is why batman wearing a trench coat over his black armor in the middle of the dessert in the knightmare scene. Is he expecting rain and doesn't want his armor to get wet? I mean the Flash is wearing metal.

He even said that the movie doesn't explain the biggest concept. Like he didn't even listen to desaad and steppenwolf's conversation about the ALE and its effect to all of the multiverse. Besides even steppenwolf didn't even know the ALE until the motherbox told him that the ALE is on earth and showed him through a vision.

Steppen wolf, Tisod and Darkseid had no clue it was the same planet Darkseid almost died at. Same reason he didn't just step through the portal. He is more cautious this time around. martial manhunter's entry right after the nightmare depicts that he is ready to support JL in planning the precautionary steps as martial had motivated lois to be in the right place at the right time. so martial is the key to avoid nightmare version.
Easy way to explain the talking differences between Aquaman and Snydercut is The Hunt for Red October, they're actually speaking in sonar but for our viewing ease we see them speaking English.
Another inconsistency is that in the Snyder Cut, Mera mentions to Arthur that the Queen took her in after her parents died. Yet, doesn't Dolph Lundgren play Mera's father in Wan's Aquaman??
The only issue I have with this is that they didn't put Lex Luthor escaping from Arkham and meeting Deathstroke on the boat in the regular part of the movie. I feel like that scene and revealing Deathstroke was on Batman's side in the nightmare sequence were too close together. Otherwise, it's perfect.
Confusing moments: 1. How does Iris West's car flip 3 times when she wasn't speeding.. at all! 2. Some how Batman, is not good at keeping his secret identity through out the whole movie 3. Darkseid with an army, just stands there as the heroes separate the mother boxes 4. How do all these cultures secure the mother boxes in horrible areas. Amazon's building has a huge roof window, and the Atlantean's have it were the walls have holes openings.
8:09 I just realised that there is no Aquaman in scene because Aquaman never wears a helmet. So the guy who got impaled was someone else. Also the guy who got omega beamed actually resembles Vulko. He might be Vulko. Also, Mera in the knightmare sequence was angry on Supes saying he will pay for what he did to Arthur. Is there any chance that Supes must have killed Aquaman?? Edit: After watching it in slo-mo, I am not sure. The guy getting impaled does look like Aquaman bit I am not sure.

I think the nightmare scene is their future without The Flash had he not been successful. So it's his alternate timeline. The ole "when you mess with time" scenario. Bruce is having those nightmares because it's his future memories seeping through to his timeline post Flash fix. So that's actually the timeline that was created had Flash not went back and changed the outcome of the future. Imo
Good thought. However, if that was true, superman and cyborg would not have been there. They were both torn apart by the mother box explosion. I think there is an ign video that explains everything. The alternate reality is what will happen if batman does not sacrifice his life to save lois, which ultimately ends with flash creating a flashpoint paradox in order to reset the events thus allowing batman to sacrifice himself to save lois. Zack snyder explains it in an interview with ign.

I think he could have tied it into this movie with the Alternate timeline Flash created. That would had brought Darkseid to earth for the Anti-life equation which could have created a reason to put Lois Lane's life in danger. Idk man. I have not been a fan of any of the DC movies, well other than Green Lantern. I have no idea why, I love that movie. I guess cause its silly and doesn't take itself too seriously. The rest of the DC movies, all seem to be trying to hard to live up to the standards the MCU has laid out. That being said, I freaking love Snyder's Justice League. I have seen it twice, and both times I forgot how long the damn movie was. Just wish the overall tone or a somewhat similar tone would be taken throughout the DC flicks. That's what sets the MCU above, you get this feeling of connection between all the movies, even if you watch them in random order.

Well this was depressing. Snyder has the ability to make the DCEU amazing. Now, we are left with only the dread of future creations that will never live up to JL - TSC.
There is no DCEU continuity. They want to mimic the MCU formula but the writers and directors care nothing about coordinating and trying to prevent these discrepancies.
The Snydercut is so amazing - its a shame it wasnt like that in theatres....probably in two parts. i had a hard enough time with Lord of the Rings and Endgame and those were each about 3 hours
Kind of feel the aquatic sounds is how they communicated for snyder & could have continued that & spin camera & turn to English so we can understand. Even tho they would still be using the aquatic sounds to speak. A show Warrior did this where they spoke another language but they talk in English so we understand even tho they aren't actually speaking English in the show to others. I have a question. How did the anti life equation end up on earth. According to me... What I think... When Darkside came and faught old gods, he hit the ground there was the symbols. So when the pointy guy hits the same ground and finds the symbols and thinks its the equation. But Darkside had done it first... Why didn't he realize the equation?
This exactly why I prefer DC. Because they actually make you think about how these heroes and villains have repercussions in the real world. The film was a complete package and an epic journey from start to finish. I love the graphic novels used, the properly executed punchlines, and the background of the characters introduced. This movie did a great job showing the sheer power and destructive capabilities of Demi-gods/Superheroes/Heroes/Kryptonians under on Earth. I am insanely in love with this cinematography and combat sequence. Notice how the female characters didn't bash the man's masculinity or invoke any "girl power" nonsense? And still, they came off as a powerful female character in the movie. (WW, Faora, Luis Lane, Mera, HQ and Martha). That's good writing by Goyer, the Nolan brothers, and Zack Snyder. Also brilliant acting by everyone. I hope WB/DC/HBOMax continues Zack's Vision while also producing standalone films like Joker and The Batman. I love the two versions, and I know Zack's films are expensive to produce but we're just asking them at least stick to the plan so that they can produce it five years even.

The trident Aquaman uses in Justice League is just on loan from Prince Namor.

The only issue I have with this is that they didn't put Lex Luthor escaping from Arkham and meeting Deathstroke on the boat in the regular part of the movie. I feel like that scene and revealing Deathstroke was on Batman's side in the nightmare sequence were too close together. Otherwise, it's perfect.
Confusing moments:
1. How does Iris West's car flip 3 times when she wasn't speeding.. at all!
2. Some how Batman, is not good at keeping his secret identity through out the whole movie
3. Darkseid with an army, just stands there as the heroes separate the mother boxes
4. How do all these cultures secure the mother boxes in horrible areas. Amazon's building has a huge roof window, and the Atlantean's have it were the walls have holes openings.

8:09 I just realised that there is no Aquaman in scene because Aquaman never wears a helmet. So the guy who got impaled was someone else. Also the guy who got omega beamed actually resembles Vulko. He might be Vulko. Also, Mera in the knightmare sequence was angry on Supes saying he will pay for what he did to Arthur. Is there any chance that Supes must have killed Aquaman??
Edit: After watching it in slo-mo, I am not sure. The guy getting impaled does look like Aquaman bit I am not sure.

I think the nightmare scene is their future without The Flash had he not been successful. So it's his alternate timeline. The ole "when you mess with time" scenario. Bruce is having those nightmares because it's his future memories seeping through to his timeline post Flash fix. So that's actually the timeline that was created had Flash not went back and changed the outcome of the future. Imo
Good thought. However, if that was true, superman and cyborg would not have been there. They were both torn apart by the mother box explosion. I think there is an ign video that explains everything. The alternate reality is what will happen if batman does not sacrifice his life to save lois, which ultimately ends with flash creating a flashpoint paradox in order to reset the events thus allowing batman to sacrifice himself to save lois. Zack snyder explains it in an interview with ign.

I think he could have tied it into this movie with the Alternate timeline Flash created. Because had Flash not been successful there's no reason to believe the unity of the machines would destroy everything. That's not what they were doing. "Change Machines". That would had brought Darkseid to earth for the Anti-life equation which could have created a reason to put Lois Lane's life in danger. Idk man. I have not been a fan of any of the DC movies, well other than Green Lantern. I have no idea why, I love that movie. I guess cause its silly and doesn't take itself too seriously. The rest of the DC movies, all seem to be trying to hard to live up to the standards the MCU has laid out. That being said, I freaking love Snyder's Justice League. I have seen it twice, and both times I forgot how long the damn movie was. Just wish the overall tone or a somewhat similar tone would be taken throughout the DC flicks. That's what sets the MCU above, you get this feeling of connection between all the movies, even if you watch them in random order.

There is no DCEU continuity. They want to mimic the MCU formula but the writers and directors care nothing about coordinating and trying to prevent these discrepancies.

Aquaman eyes colours are different in different movies and it doesn't matter at all but I agree about the trident.
Kind of feel the aquatic sounds is how they communicated for snyder & could have continued that & spin camera & turn to English so we can understand. Even tho they would still be using the aquatic sounds to speak. A show Warrior did this where they spoke another language but they talk in English so we understand even tho they aren't actually speaking English in the show to others. Very cool idea that could of been used but I agree mainly over thought.

I have a question. How did the anti life equation end up on earth. According to me... What I think... When Darkside came and faught old gods, he hit the ground there was the symbols. So when the pointy guy hits the same ground and finds the symbols and thinks its the equation.
But Darkside had done it first... Why didn't he realize the equation?
This exactly why I prefer DC. Because they actually make you think about how these heroes and villains have repercussions in the real world. The film was a complete package and an epic journey from start to finish. I love the graphic novels used, the properly executed punchlines, and the background of the characters introduced. This movie did a great job showing the sheer power and destructive capabilities of Demi-gods/Superheroes/Heroes/Kryptonians under on Earth. I am insanely in love with this cinematography and combat sequence. Notice how the female characters didn't bash the man's masculinity or invoke any "girl power" nonsense? And still, they came off as a powerful female character in the movie. (WW, Faora, Luis Lane, Mera, HQ and Martha). That's good writing by Goyer, the Nolan brothers, and Zack Snyder. Also brilliant acting by everyone. I hope WB/DC/HBOMax continues Zack's Vision while also producing standalone films like Joker and The Batman. I love the two versions, and I know Zack's films are expensive to produce but we're just asking them at least stick to the plan so that they can produce it five years even.

Superman showing up in the black suit in the knightmare scene could corrected a lot of continuity errors batman seeing him in that suit would instantly reiterate the fact that we’re way too close to an end of the world scenario both justice league’s had small flaws that held them back the whedon cut had a lot more though
