Still one of the best live albums of all time, Agnus even stated that he thought this was the pinnacle of the bands live career, he said they never sounded this good live again, Bon was absolutely amazing

Just missed out on this gig but went to the Glasgow Apollo the following Highway To Hell tour as 15 year old and so glad I did before we could see Bon no more. Also saw Ozzy in Glasgow very first solo gig and Brian Johnson in 1980 where we sang his name loud and proud to welcome hime to the family.

What makes this album special is because when AC ⚡️ DC were trying to break into the US market, rather than put together a compilation album of their “greatest hits”-as 99.9% of bands would’ve done, AC ⚡️ DC delivered “If You Want Blood”-arguably one of the best live albums ever produced. Here, Bon and the boys at their peak-demonstrating what having big balls means.

I first saw acdc as a 7 year old on mtv in 81...a live vid of back in black and then in 82 a vid for those about to rock. I thought they were sick and I had no idea who bon was...obviously by the time I got to high school I was well versed about bon and he is one of my favorite singers..keep in mind Angus was in his mid 20s when bon died..he deserved to carry on and Brian was the perfect choice because he's got an easy going demeanor and wasn't trying to trample bons legacy.

But for me If You Want Blood You´ve Got it has to be without doubt THE BEST live rock album of all time. Riff Raff what an intro - and before the crowd can even get their breath back the guys break straight into Hell Ain't a Bad Place to Be......and so it continues. Bon Scott was a genius vocalist superbly backed up of course by Angus, Malcolm, Cliff and Phil. No fluke that my kids like AC/DC - particularly the songs from the Bon era - legend, legend, legend. 👌🎸🎤👊

Definitively The Very Best of AC/DC Live and with Bon Scott (RIP) and those brothers... omg... Rock and Roll History Hall of Fame. Whole Lotta Rosie, Let There Be Rock, Rocker, Hell Ain't a Bad Place to Be... The drums the bass, and the guitar riffs even the Lyrics, in perfect synchronization... this is what I define as ART. The Bass on this Album though, is tight, deep, and articulate (the Ladies must like this). Those drum rolls and pauses to accent other sync'd guitar riff and lingering feedback is what brings me back each and every time. Rock on Brothers.

This was the very first cd I ever owned. At that point I only knew acdc radio hits. My friend gave it to me for my 13th birthday and I remember thinking that I'd never heard of any of these songs before (except the jack and problem child) and I hoped it wouldn't be boring. 33 years later, this live version of riff raff is still my favorite acdc song of all time. And I think the greatest thing about this album is that there's no radio hits, only some of the greatest songs they ever wrote, all showcased by the fact that ACDC is one of the most kickass live acts of all time.

Where I came from, AC/DC and most of those songs were well known. AC/DC used to often play live here in Texas before the world discovered them. When I joined the Navy and brought my AC/DC cassettes with me, I was shocked to find out nobody had ever heard of them (except one guy from Austin). They were my favorite band and I had just learned that they were unknown. That was weird. Then 'Highway to Hell' was released and the rest is history.

Never heard of this album before, put it in my tape player in my 1978 Pontiac Gran Prix LJ and was completely bummed out that it was a live recording. I didn't care for live albums. When the riff from... well, Riff Raff starts after the build up the energy is through the roof, you feel your bones shattering

Got turned onto them when I was about 14 and it blew my mind, I'm 61 and when I want a hard drivin jam to make me move, AC/DC. Powerage songs are some of my favs, most are hits and mostly the Bon Scott version of AC/DC
