I know George was in his 40s but I work with seniors and have had people say 'Ill come by and see you tomorrow' and they never make it. Sometimes you don't get a super dignified ending with a big speech that cuts hard. Sometimes it's just something where you go 'alright I'll talk to them later' and there is no later, and you deal with it
People probably already know of the vanity card at the end of this episode, so I'll just pop it here, as a fan of the show. "Chuck Lorre Productions, # 742 Eighteen years ago, when we were writing and producing The Big Bang Theory, it seemed like a good idea to imagine that Sheldon's childhood was deeply disrupted by the loss of his father. No one could have thought that someday we would regret that decision. That someday is now. There were a lot of tears on stage when this episode's last scene was shot. A reminder that we had all fallen in love with a fictional character. Which is, itself, a reminder to love the characters in our life who are real. To do otherwise, is to live with regret."
In "The Comic Book Store Regeneration" in the 8th season and 15th episode of "The Big Bang Theory," after the gang receives the bad news that Howard Wolowitz's mother died in her sleep, Sheldon Cooper surprisingly gives Howard some words of comfort by stating "When I lost my own father, I didn't have any friends to help me through it. You do." These words caused Howard to smile as Sheldon could relate to his grief while surprising the others with his understanding.
"I feel bad for everyone but sheldon" I'm gonna go ahead and assume you didn't watch either Big Bang Theory or this show. Sheldon should be the one you feel the worst for, because George was the one who did everything to be there for sheldon. While Mary tried to treat Sheldon like nothing more than just a weird kid, George actually treated Sheldon properly. and in BBT, Sheldon misses his dad dearly.
@Liv. That statement “I feel bad for everyone but Sheldon” proves that you haven’t been paying attention to BBT or Young Sheldon. George actually treated Sheldon like a person a human being while Mary was being overbearing and the rest of his family thought he was weird. Your statement is invalid.
This specific moment really explains Sheldon's behavior in The Big Bang Theory and the way he is.
I think it’s his mother having spoiled him
I have to remind myself that George Cooper is a fictional character
A though you can relate to them
that’s so reall 😭🥹
No but it's so hard
Sameee
No he real
This really made me cry

You went away to collage after dad died. Who do you think took care of everything". Georgie Cooper - TBBT
Rip to the goat.
Iain nailed this tragic moment perfectly.
Iain nailed it. Didn't expect a single facial expression to hit this hard
It's hard on everyone of them, but most especially Mary. She and George have been together the longest, she's known him longer than anyone else.

I can’t believe he died. I feel bad for everyone but Sheldon because he always makes everything about him.

Wheres georgies reaction
he is helping with the baby in the other room, they don't show it
Went to change the baby's diaper.
He had left to help Mandy with the baby. They haven't shown his reaction yet.
Wonder what would have happened if Missy actually decided to go with him
But why can’t we see George’s death? And why doesn’t Sheldon give a reaction?
Can't believe he had a heart attack. How could this have happened?
Don't know but he did drink alot of beer
He had a heart attack before too
His character wasn't the healthiest? He also had a heart attack in an earlier season
It was implied in The Big Bang Theory that he had died of a heart attack.
Cause he was a big back
🫡😔🥲
