This is not always the case of course but the kind of people you mentioned in your comment more often than not will exhibit this.
@MDM well there are a myriad of factors that play into what we are talking about. Although I agree with you on your point of overly religious parents being an issue it's the approach that's the problem not the beliefs. The issue is that Christianity doesn't explicitly tell you to explain why promiscuity is a bad thing. The approach is "God said not to have sex before marriage. Wanting to have sex is a sin and you're gonna go to hell. Don't do it because God said so." So even if a child has questions, the parents won't give answers other than what I stated. Humans by nature want to do what they want to do so if you put no effort in explaining why things are bad then your children won't take the issue seriously. In addition Christianity teaches that humans are awful, sinful creatures who can't be accepted by God unless you accept Jesus. Everything is a sin according to that belief system so most people will think, "Well I'm gonna go to hell anyways so screw it might as well have fun now." It sets people up to fail if you don't allow them to ask questions. Next the problem with how society in general treats the people in question. When you are constantly getting attention for superficial things like your looks it's going to influence your behavior. Unfortunately a great deal of the time girls like Missy don't have the best home life. Missy, and Georgie to a lesser extent, are shown to be somewhat neglected by George and Mary because: 1. Sheldon is almost always the center of attention. Either due to his intelligence or his shenanigans. And 2. Mary and George don't have the best marriage. They're always arguing or not communicating with each other. This is evidenced in the episode where Sheldon and Missy do the study on twins, Missy explains to the doctor that she feels like no one is one her side. Now that I've mentioned that if you apply that to real life situations like that are pretty common in today's society. With things like Social Media and how much television people watch we are watching were told to hold attractive or famous(popular) people in higher regard to everyone else. So if you don't feel like you have any approval at home you will seek it somewhere else. An example of this working the opposite way is with Veronica. When she's introduced she's a visual example of what I'm talking about. We find out her dad was never in her life and her mother is with a man who's a total jerk. They never spend family time together so she sought validation from men in an unhealthy way. The difference with her is she became Christian because she didn't like being the way she was. That doesn't however change what she went through just how she handled it. Unfortunately that won't always be the case. Since a lot of young girls are taught to be as attractive as possible it's easy for them to only be concerned with their looks and they'll expect that to be the case everywhere in life. And as we all know the real world doesn't care how good looking you are if you don't contribute to society. Your boss isn't going to keep you if you suck at your job regardless of how attractive you are. Now you mentioned about people being more open to things other than appearance. While that may be true nowadays I will admit I can't be 100% objective in how I view that, I can only infer based on my experience. I was in middle school during the early 2000s, and though this may not be the case everywhere this was true to me. Back then where I was living looks were the ONLY thing that mattered to people at that age. Intelligence, not important. Any type of skill, not important. Courage and perserverance, not important it was all superficiality. At the time I was a fat kid who liked things like Dragonball Z, so you can guess where I fell on the spectrum. I had to endure being called ugly and disgusting on a daily basis, being told I should kill myself so that the "pretty popular girls" didn't have to look at me anymore. In addition the "popular good looking guys" would routinely beat myself and my friends up in the bathrooms for no reason other than we were nerds. Again this may be my biased view but it's based on what I experienced. Thinking I wasn't attractive to anyone carried over to high school where I never tried to date anybody. Looking back knowing what I know now about flirting there were definite opportunities I just didn't recognize them. Fortunately for me the guys who would beat me up went to a different high school and I joined the football team so that helped me lose weight. If I'm wrong about this being a thing everywhere else I hope so because no one deserves to go through that. However I've also seen in my life that those people who had it all back then have completely ruined their lives. The pretty popular girls were having sex and partying and now are mothers and have no future. Some got addicted to drugs, meth was very prevalent in that area. I ran into the alpha bitch years ago at a Taco Bell and she was completely torn up. Her looks were gone, she had these 2 kids obnoxious children who were screaming and running around the place and, not be shovanistic, but she was extremely overweight. She recognized me however and was blown away how good looking I was because I had lost all the weight and puberty fixed my looks in the end. While we were talking I had the urge to just rip into her but I felt like life had already done that. "He has literally been crying his entire life!" i know everyone likes to criticize this show for being kind of corny at times but some of these quotes actually made me belly laugh the first time i heard them lmfao
So she had 4 kids In TBBT, she had just two... I'm assuming that Raj and Missy ended up together after the show ended and the last 2 were fathered by Raj
A friend of mine said she wanted four kids, but then she started work as a nursery nurse. Then she only wanted two! She ended up like me, with none, and no one to have them with last time I checked. We're both in our fifties now, so the boat has sailed, but I wonder sometimes............
This might sound stupid and obvious but when Missy said "yeah, whoopee" at 2:00 she sounded EXACTLY like Georgia from Ginny and Georgia, that's just who I thought of when I heard her
Young Sheldon creates amazing characters whose arcs are hindered by an end that's already been written. I think it would be a better show if they just ignored the canon of BBT. (Although I get that they can't do that)
If they ignore that, Young sheldon completely loses its point. It just becomes a really good show on its own, but not about Sheldon, Georgie and MIssy and parents and Meemaw
Fun fact the original idea for young Sheldon was never supposed to be about Sheldon it was supposed to have been about Missy's son who happened to be just as intelligent as Sheldon it was supposed to start when his nephew was 11 . They were working out the treatment for the series, and they decided you know what sounds more like young Sheldon, so they went that route instead
Id love to know how they find the right actors for these roles. As little kids, they were good, but as they got older, they became phenomenal. Good job to whoever saw that potential as young actors and nurtured their talent into what they've become.
@@CarissaConti Apprantly the actress was actually pregnant at the time. I do not know if this is true or not though. They said the same thing about the actress who played Bernadette that she was pregnant in the show and in real life.
“Your having a tooth pulled not having a kid.” “I know but if it can help get an 8LB child out of a birth canal it can work for a tiny tooth.” The beginning of the video was funny. “If I ever need a kidney this is where you get it.” That had me 😂😂😂😂 Sheldon is so funny but what really got me was Raj. “She wanted to stop by the hotel and call the pastor to pray for Missy’s soul,” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 that was what got me the most. They’re all funny but Sheldon being an uncle??? I never saw that coming I never did see this episode when it aired on TV so seeing this one now gives me life and giggles.
"Uncle Sheldon can you help me? My teacher insists that me using the Einstein-Hawking formula on this math equation is wrong. But it poses the hypothetical scenario of two spaceships flying in between planets, so using relativistic calculations and gravity curves is in order, for this is an astrophysics question. So how am I supposed to solve this with basic algebra?" Sheldon: "Let me see. Oh, your calculation is not wrong. The premise of the math problem is wrong, as it assumes a purely Neutonian approach, which, given that the context is astrophysical, is incorrect."
When Missy said she and her Husband were separated, and Raj replied, “You don’t Say?” that was a tip off to an opportunity for them to hook up, as Missy had interest in him when they first met.. but nope... thus, leaving Raj to be the only one of all of the BBT gang to remain single... and alone. 😕
No way that would have worked out. Him and Missy are just way too different as people. Raj still has a lot of growing to do before he can actually fall into a real relationship. I just find it stupid that Howard got that growth as soon as he met Bernadette, but not Raj as he met any.
I think it’s pretty cool that Laurie Metcalf who plays Sheldon’s mom in Big Bang Theory, her daughter IRL, Zoe Perry, plays Sheldon’s mom, Mary, on Young Sheldon
With the added context, at the end that she had two more kids, ending up, being a total of four, I would love for it to end up that Raj ended up becoming Sheldon‘s brother-in-law
She and her husband were separated while she was expecting the 2nd. Either they reconciled or some other guy is the father of the last 2. She had an interest in Raj during her first appearance, and Raj seemed intrigued by the separation. Maybe she married him, and they had 2 together.
Aaron Damian if I remember when they first met, Leonard got rejected, Howard got rejected, Missy liked Raj but he was unable speak when the drug wore off.
I was watching an episode of Cobra Kai and Courtney made an identical facial expression that Raegan makes it’s scary how well they casted these characters
It so funny seeing the actress who plays Missy on the BBT, since she and Sheldon look soooo much taller compared to the other actors, and when you see her on Cobra Kai, she is normal to smaller in size when compared to normal size people
The cast members of BBT are mostly very short. Penny's only 5'6", an average height, and she is taller than Howard, Leonard, Amy, and Bernadette. Raj is only slightly taller. Sheldon is only 6'1" - on the tall side of the average range, but not going to tower over most groups. And he doesn't, when you look at many of the guests - his brother (Jerry O Connell) is taller. Zach is taller. Wyatt, Penny's dad, is about the same. Bert the geologist is considerably taller.
he conquered his selective mutism (a form of rare and extreme social anxiety) in the last episode of episode 6, after Lucy broke up with him and Leonard went on the research study with by Hawking in the North sea on a ship.
1:14 another continuity hole between YS and TBBT lol. Sheldon already has a niece to “mould” according to YS - Georgie’s daughter CeCe. Then again, Sheldon hasn’t told anyone about Georgie’s existence yet, so…
They cast the characters for Young Sheldon perfectly. They really look like they could be the same characters as in TBBT.
Except Georgie would have to grow like 6 inches😂

I wish we could’ve have more of missy an Sheldon moment in the bing bang show
Agreed
"He has literally been crying his entire life!" i know everyone likes to criticize this show for being kind of corny at times but some of these quotes actually made me belly laugh the first time i heard them lmfao
"You don't say?" LMAO Raj xD
There should be a spin-off with Missy and Raj as a couple. LOL
Barf!
Agreed. I would love that!
Pretty sure that's where child 3 and 4 came from.
@@RazvanMihaeanu why barf ? It was established a few seasons into the series that Raj and Melissa were into each other!
@@Some_guy_passing_by Barf to Infinity!
"Established" my arse!
Missy is a very realistic portray of girl her age. I see a lot of these teen shows and they have preteen and teens acting like full grown ass afults
So she had 4 kids
In TBBT, she had just two...
I'm assuming that Raj and Missy ended up together after the show ended and the last 2 were fathered by Raj
you don't say
It possible she had more after the show ended.
Maybe they were twins
She could have ended up having twins
Second time was triplets .. Gold Silver Bronze
Usually when people say they're never having kids, they're the ones who end up with a lot of kids.
A friend of mine said she wanted four kids, but then she started work as a nursery nurse. Then she only wanted two!
She ended up like me, with none, and no one to have them with last time I checked. We're both in our fifties now, so the boat has sailed, but I wonder sometimes............

Missy and Georgie are my favourite characters in Young Sheldon ❣️
I love how young Missy looks like adult Missy
@Allen Edwards no they're not
I just noticed in big bang theory missy and Gorgie didn't really have time together
Because they live together
@@aasthatyagi3001 i meant grown up versions not little versions
They say hello
@@stevemorganexperience7833 do they, i gotta rewatch it
Because they probably live nearby each other in Texas so it’s gotta be a daily habit
Kid Missy & Sheldon are better than adult versions imho.
Young meemaw too
Agree with missy iffy wt Sheldon
Truth
not abt sheldon
I agree with you haha
Missy: "I'm never having Kids"
*30 Years Later...*
Raj: "Congratulations on Baby #2"
Missy: "Yeah... Whoopi."
This might sound stupid and obvious but when Missy said "yeah, whoopee" at 2:00 she sounded EXACTLY like Georgia from Ginny and Georgia, that's just who I thought of when I heard her
yup!
Young Sheldon creates amazing characters whose arcs are hindered by an end that's already been written. I think it would be a better show if they just ignored the canon of BBT. (Although I get that they can't do that)
That's completely true
Not really. They have lots of opportunity. Also Sheldon didn’t reveal EVERYTHING about his childhood.
Yeah, the characters and events are already set so they have little room for creativity.
If they ignore that, Young sheldon completely loses its point. It just becomes a really good show on its own, but not about Sheldon, Georgie and MIssy and parents and Meemaw
@Alan James Yeah true.
Missy telling Sheldon to breath while she's giving birth is the most missy thing ever
"If I ever need a Kidney this is where you get it"
To The Point
This was a cool edit
I love Missy, she’s the funniest.
Love both shows!! Some of the best written stuff on TV!
Missy and Raj, I’m still hoping on the ship!
Marley Hampton.. Totally with you on that. I wish Missy to have the Best . And Raj will love her to the Moon and back.
@@aditiban002 plus Mrs Cooper will have fun all day with Indian remarks after that.
Missy Kuthapali has a ring to it
Fun fact the original idea for young Sheldon was never supposed to be about Sheldon it was supposed to have been about Missy's son who happened to be just as intelligent as Sheldon it was supposed to start when his nephew was 11 . They were working out the treatment for the series, and they decided you know what sounds more like young Sheldon, so they went that route instead
I am a grown woman and my sisters say I am the Missy Cooper of our family. I just told them THANK YOU
2:00
Yeah! Whoopee!
LMAO, her face xDDD
"yoy don't say" OMG RAJ'S TONE XDDDD
“I love you too Sheldon”
“Really, why?” OK THIS HAD NE GIGGLING 😂
Excellent casting with young Missy and grown up Missy.
Id love to know how they find the right actors for these roles. As little kids, they were good, but as they got older, they became phenomenal. Good job to whoever saw that potential as young actors and nurtured their talent into what they've become.
To adult Missy - Congratulations, I hope the baby was healthy and happy!
!!!!! Are you seriously congratulating a fictional TV character on a show that went off the air three years ago?????
If Courtney Henggeler isn't too busy filming Cobra Kai, she should totally make a voice cameo on Young Sheldon.
0:50 he's literally acting like he just gave birth instead of missy
That's the joke🤦
The way rahj said "you don't say" had me feeling something
"Uncle Sheldon can you help me? My teacher insists that me using the Einstein-Hawking formula on this math equation is wrong. But it poses the hypothetical scenario of two spaceships flying in between planets, so using relativistic calculations and gravity curves is in order, for this is an astrophysics question. So how am I supposed to solve this with basic algebra?"
Sheldon: "Let me see. Oh, your calculation is not wrong. The premise of the math problem is wrong, as it assumes a purely Neutonian approach, which, given that the context is astrophysical, is incorrect."
they really casted young sheldon good the kids look so similar to the grown actors
She did not have interest in him. She was mocking him when he knocked at her door.
Also: their lives are not over when the show ends...
Never watched The Big Bang Theory but they did do a good casting for the younger versions in Young Sheldon.
“My sister told me to breathe”
Missy was telling him to breathe even though she was the one giving birth
Wait so after Sheldon wedding she had two more
Looks like
What?
She and her husband were separated while she was expecting the 2nd. Either they reconciled or some other guy is the father of the last 2. She had an interest in Raj during her first appearance, and Raj seemed intrigued by the separation. Maybe she married him, and they had 2 together.
@@nrkgalt oooo
Actually, 3 more. The second baby wasn’t born until after the wedding
Honestly it would have been really interesting seeing lenord and missy in a relationship and the whole dynamic with sheldon .
Anyone care to explain to me the expression meaning of Raj saying "you don't say" to Missy ? Thanks.
He’s happy that she’s not taken and might try to persue it
Well I thought that too but then I considered maybe he was just trying to be sarcastic.
Aaron Damian if I remember when they first met, Leonard got rejected, Howard got rejected, Missy liked Raj but he was unable speak when the drug wore off.
It’s sarcasm when someones says something that is obvious
What’s really cool is that the actress for Mary Cooper in TBBT is the mother of the actress who plays Mary in Young Sheldon
1:16 what about Dr Sturgis from young sheldon?
They didn't know about him yet.
He's dead proply because he was old
Came here to see two missy’s together damn picture 😂😂😂
Sameeeeeee😂
I was watching an episode of Cobra Kai and Courtney made an identical facial expression that Raegan makes it’s scary how well they casted these characters
The actress that played Adult missy really was pregnant in that episode in real life.
older missy is the actor of the woman who tricked Ray (Henry danger) to love her with Love Muffins 2:13 on this scene
It def would of been nice to have had more cross overs with younger and older Sheldon !! maybe even a dreaming time travel episode.
If I ever need a kidney, thats where you'll get it. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Im sorry but Leonard really killed me on that part hahahha
"You don't say?" 👌🏼😎😁😂👏🏻
I like the *”wha-Ay???”* Sheldon made when Amy told him he should go with Missy lol
I feel they messed up Missy’s character overall - showed her cool and smart, but eventually ruined it
the older missy is no longer savage
"He's taking it after his uncle shelly" 🤣😭😭😭
“AHHHHH!”
“EXCUSE ME IM ON THE PHONE, ugh so rude.”
Missy, George Sr., and Meemaw are the heart of the show... and knowing that the character of George Sr. could be gone at any time makes me kinda sad.
0:57 Sheldon just started roasting the baby for no reason
"AHHHH!"
"Excuse me, I'm on the phone!"
Missy’s character is hilarious 😂
It so funny seeing the actress who plays Missy on the BBT, since she and Sheldon look soooo much taller compared to the other actors, and when you see her on Cobra Kai, she is normal to smaller in size when compared to normal size people
I literally discovered right now that Daniel's wife and Sheldon's sister are played by the same actress
That's because everyone on BBT are in the mid 5's or shorter. Sheldon towers over them all
The cast members of BBT are mostly very short.
Nailed the casting!
"Aw he's already taking after uncle shelly!" Sheldon totally deserved that.
I love both Missys. They are so sassy and still so lovely... The best part, they kinda look-a-like themselves. 🤣
At the end of the series they should get little Missy and Big Missy together and see what they look like side by side.
Missy did just fine..she married to the Karate Kid and they have a beautiful house!
Correct
Oh yeah, that’s why she looks familiar! 😅
Susan McKinney Except for the fact she gave birth to Anthony though.
"You've never had a role model growing up and now yiu can be one for yoour nephew" what about constance, georgies kid
Wouldn't be surprised if the last two babies are half Indian. I can see Missy hooking up with Raj.
First time ive heard raj speak around females.
He got over his fear of talking to women without alcohol in like season 4 or 5
he conquered his selective mutism (a form of rare and extreme social anxiety) in the last episode of episode 6, after Lucy broke up with him and Leonard went on the research study with by Hawking in the North sea on a ship.

Kind of funny that you don’t want kids in the next 38 years later you get to have four kids.
Amy is soooooo good at communicating with Sheldon, one sentence, he is convinced
1:14 Dr Sturgis erasure will not be tolerated
1:14 another continuity hole between YS and TBBT lol. Sheldon already has a niece to “mould” according to YS - Georgie’s daughter CeCe. Then again, Sheldon hasn’t told anyone about Georgie’s existence yet, so…
The fact that Missy changed her name to Amanda and married Daniel LaRusso to have both Sam and Anthony
The fact georgie married mandy, whose full name I think is also amanda lol
