I discovered them and him through A Korean Odyssey (Hwayugi) and have been enamored ever since. Honggi and FT Island are one of the most underrated groups in Korea. Nice to see them getting some love.

Produce 101/48 are survival shows that start with a bunch of trainees (101/96) from different kpop agencies, they do missions such as cover songs, the public votes for their favorites and the trainees are gradually eliminated until only the final group remains, that will then promote together for a limited time. Produce 101 season 1 (girls) made IOI (disbanded after 7 months), Produce 101 season 2 (boys) made Wanna One (disbanding at the end of the year after 18 months), Produce 48 (girls again but with Japanese girls from the AKB48 franchise added to the mix) made IZ*ONE (set to debut soon, will disband after two and a half years). Cheetah has been a rap trainer on the show since the first season, Lee Hongki only joined as a vocal trainer for Produce 48.
