I was keen to return to this location with my 6x17 film camera to shoot here in this format, a goal thats been on the list for many years. Finally everything came together for a really enjoyable shoot. Using one of my favourite films again, Fuji Velvia 50, I was delighted with the results. So much so I have ordered a drum scan of the first image, cant wait to see the results.

First chocolate box photography was superb , so many interesting features all in one frame . The velvia added such colour depth and interest as well. Thanks for sharing
Thankyou. I agree there is lots to see, I was really pleased with the result
Great photos!... thank you for this
Lesson of composition. I enjoy

Really appreciate your comment and you enjoyed it
What a beautiful shots. Not too many Velvia 50 shots to see any more. Unlike many shots, not overly saturated like velvia sometimes is and hits you in face too much. Especially the 1st one was very pleasing!
I so love panoramics. So tempted to get something to shoot 6x17. Currently 6x12 is my limit and my favorite format from what I have gear for.
Thankyou I’m glad you like them.
The Chroma Six 17 is a great camera and very versatile in terms of lenses and accessories
Lovely shot of Salcombe Lee - well worth the effort of getting up so early as the light was magical and showed Salcombe in all its glory. I also like the Rapseed shot as Velvia has really added to the saturation and separation of the colours….just lovely
Thanks Mike, it was a great morning not a breath of wind either. I was really pleased with the results
Beautiful work!
Thank you 😀
Really love the first photo, but beautiful images, both of them. Cheers!
Ah thankyou glad you liked them
Lovely stuff bud. Those boats either side of the tree were stressing me out, you did a grand job to give them their space. Hope you had a giant fry up later!!!
Thanks mate 😀
No fry up just slept for about 2 hours 😂😂
So love these vids Lee 🙂 6x17 is by far my favourite format!! Although I don't own a camera with that aspect ratio....... yet!!
@@IainHC1 Ah thanks I’m glad you like them. It’s a great format especially seeing the results on the lightbox, lots of detail.
The first shot of Salcombe Lee is stunning. The colours that Velvia have pulled out is amazing and the light on the town buildings finish the image. Superb!!
Thanks Graham really appreciate your comment
Very nice photos Lee, Velvia is a great film stock, nasty expensive though 😄
Thanks Adam. Yes I agree difficult to get hold of now too sadly
Great work…..I’ve subscribed
Thankyou really appreciate it glad you enjoyed this one
@@LeePengellyPhotography you are not helping my medium format addiction! Looks like I will be investing in a six17 to try to scratch the itch.
@@Stringbob 😂 gotta be done
@@Stringbob just subscribed to yours, noticed you use the the Hasselblad. Will be catching up on your videos, always wanted a Hassy
That format can be used for Environmental Portraits.
