Really well done, love your work as well as your calm, direct and very specific way of communicating to your model and audience. Looking forward to more!
I love doing BTS next time you want to do this let me know! I can do a steady shot as well as a gimbal on me and mic you as well. Good job with the audio on your voice btw and awesome portraits as always!
Thank you! That’s something I need to remember also. I think I mentioned a couple times around 1/4 power. It probably hovered in there as I was shooting at 3pm.
Hey Barbara! Thanks for the question. It does vary based off available light and what I’m trying to accomplish. I think it was around 1/4 power for most of the session. When I had her back directly to the sun I may have gone to full. However it’s something that I’ll try to do better about mentioning for my next videos.
I use my flash primarily as fill. As Jason mentioned, you use it to create the lighting that you want/need. It gives you so much more creative freedom in my opinion when I'm working. I try to keep it set to benefit my model's 'good side', so that is typically my initial thought about placing it where I do.

Nice video. Where specifically did you obtain the rolling wheel for the c stand?
I got them on Amazon. They are Neewer brand, but there are others.
Esa musica es en español y tu hablas inglés?? Saludos me encantó la sesión fotográfica excelente 👌
Beautiful images. What camera did you use to record the video?
I used the OSMO Pocket 2 to record this video. It looks great in good lighting conditions.
Great shoot/vid bro
Thank you!
Question, what is the light extender?
I love doing BTS next time you want to do this let me know! I can do a steady shot as well as a gimbal on me and mic you as well. Good job with the audio on your voice btw and awesome portraits as always!
Thanks Daniel! I appreciate the offer! I may hit you up!
Is that soft box double diffused?
Yes it is and gridded for more controlled light spread.
What grid do you use on your soft box?
Just the one that came with the soft box.
What is the power of your flash you are using
Unfortunately I wasn't checking my power like I should have been. I've gotten a lot better about it since this session.
What was the camera you were using for the video?
I think the OSMO POCKET 2
NICE WORK WHAT WAS YOUR FLASH POWER
Thank you! That’s something I need to remember also.
I think I mentioned a couple times around 1/4 power. It probably hovered in there as I was shooting at 3pm.
What is the power of light
