Although as a sports journalist I am supposed to remain neutral, I always like to point out that before I became a professional, I was just a big fan! Don't know if anyone noticed but Pieter Hendriks never put the ball down...he got up to again to score under the posts but the ref already awarded the try...on the spot he first went down..but he never grounded it..
Yes, that's quite right. I think because he shielded the ball to his left when he slid past the try line the referee thought he had grounded it ... which of course he had not! Still a very memorable moment!
