When it is my turn to leave this earth, I hope he will be waiting for me. I think about getting another friend but don't know if I can go through this again. Eric, you made one of the best videos that covered the entire life of your best friend and companion, Luke. Wonderful music sounded as if it was recorded just for your video. I noticed that Luke was only 8 years old and looked as if he had suffered injury to his rear legs. I had a red sable shepherd that was accidently ran over at about 9months old. He could walk and run but his back-end had the same fragile appearance and was too weak in the legs to be utilized for breeding - he died oh so much earlier than expected. I have learned through the years and am a firm believer that no animal should suffer - especially if it's out of the greed of the owner who doesn't want to lose it. When it's time or necessary that your friend and companion needs to end life here on this earth, it is your duty to care enough for it that during the last hours, minutes, even seconds should be holding and comforting him/her while looking into each others eyes to say goodby. Let no animal have to live in pain or end life in fear. I commend you and shall watch your video every week and share when I know it will help others make a decision.
I'm so you lost your boy.. I have lost both my girl's Kaliskablue 14 and Kaylijo 13 to the worst type of cancer that dog's and people get.. Kaylijo was 13 and passed away on December 28th 2020, it will be 2 year's tomorrow 💔🐾💔 😥and her sister Kaliskablue was just 14 year's when she passed away on September 26th 2022 this year...💔🐾💔😥 They were my babies all their lives and I miss them so much! It has been very hard to accept and realize that both are no longer here.. I was with both when they passed at the hospital and I held both in my arms as they closed their eyes and took their last breath of air.. I will always love them and I will never forget the love and loyalty they gave too me.. I will see them both again when it is my time to cross the rainbow bridge and go home to heaven for I know they are waiting for me there! You will also be with your boy again and remember that he loves you too and is also waiting for you! ❤️🐾🕊️❤️
