I would have appreciated seeing the red ink stamps put on, too. Did Liang Xiaoping put them on the paper herself? What do the 4 huge ideograms say? Are they words from the poem, and if so, what words? I am impressed and wish to know more, such as what a literary discussion of the Tang poem might reveal. Thank you for the video as it is, in any case!
Yes, Chinese calligraphy is a lot more different than Latin or Arabic calligraphy. The way Chinese characters can be read is that the boldness of the lines, even in the slightest bit has an impact on the emotions a writer wants to convey. It's quite beautiful if you can read it, to a western eye it can look chaotic and childish.

I see "chi" in her work.......I bet she practices Taichi as well. I see life and energy in her strokes.
she isn't just writing with her arm, it's her whole body. it's like the energy of the strokes comes from inside her body.
all of heart beats moves from hand and thumb to the pen and calligraphy work. what we have in the heart so we have it on our writing 😉
Wonderful to watch! Superbly executed. Thank you for sharing.
I like how she expresses herself.
She must be doing well to splatter black ink while wearing that number.
