1:48 I was reminded of the Underwater Temple and Forest of Witches arcs, where Finral and Vanessa realize they can use their spells to make an opening for Asta by enabling him to dodge Vetto/Elf-Fana's attacks.

Yeah; it is like Sasuke's rinnegan since it uses swap-teleportation (which I remember having been one of the elves' magic attributes). Let's just hope that Yuno's star magic doesn't get randomly gouged out by a possessed child with a dagger in a blatant & cheap method of nerfing him.

God when I saw the spoilers and yami defending nacht for some reason I thought that was asta in his black mode. Fire chapter
@1:58 Mereoleona took that pose after being hit by Lucifero. You can see a hollow silhouette of her in the middle. That makes the panel all the more impressive, recovering your stance quick after a hit, like a true lioness.

Would've been sick seeing both captains but just Yami with a wood katana is too good. Maybe William can't fight but they are both arcane. These two and Asta are the only ones who can hold their own against Lucifero. And I was hoping for a new form of Calidos Brachium from Mereoleona.

@@thadsaylor8726 The elves can certainly do that first part. Raia can't copy lucifero's gravity magic though, as he needs to touch a person's grimoire to copy their spells, and lucifero doesn't have a grimoire.
I wanna see William x Mimosa wide area healing magic. Short of something like that everyone won't make it out of conflict with Lucifero alive

Even with Blackhole active (in the background), it doesn't reduce the physical strength of Luci
That final panel where Yami steps in to save Nacht and Asta really reminded me of when Ace stepped in to save Luffy at Marineford.
Can see it the only difference was Luffy was truly alone (somewhat) during that and facing a lot of changes.

Yami to the rescue, and William (Who?) Vangeance is going to bring some assistance. Lucifero is really making it personal to kill Asta, and that menacing grin says it all. Poor Mereoleona, she has reached her limit, and is out of the fight. Nacht was close to dieing in this chapter, but the fight will keep going since the two top Clover kingdom captains have entered the fray. Our boi Asta is no way close, and one big precise hit is all he needs.

J Cloud I'm sure your going to talk about it in your chapter but Mereoleona was the same as Naamah and Lilth she like those two were able to turn their body into Mana but since Mereoleona is human her body can't handle the form. If she can maintain the from while being pure Mana. Nobody is going to be able to hit her expect Asta with his demon destroyer sword. So look out for that but its good to see Yami back I expect him to use death thurst and hit Lucifero and he going to be pissed haha.Also good to see Nacht combing his forms again that was badass

Yami was healed by grey Transmutation magic plus rejuvenated by Charmy Mana replenishing magic from her wool magic i think the same went for William so those two are ready to face lucifero off, now since Yami has world tree as a sword combined with his dark magic, it might harm lucifero since it was proven that he can harm other beings from other dimensions

@@LOVE19100 Na it's certainly not grey, she can only replace parts perfectly. She can do nothing about mana. The fact that Yami is standing there itself shows that he was healed by some healing magic restoring his mana too. The only ones capable of doing that are healing mages in the battlefield - William, Patry, Fana, Raia and Mimosa. Well it's obviously not Mimosa cause she was with Yuno. Patry was probably the one who healed William. We don't even know if Fana, Raia and Vetto are in the battlefield or not. William can actually heal Yami long range thanks to his world tree magic and Yami's new sword proves William was the one who saved his ass lol.
Patry was the one that caught William when the tree was destroyed, so that would make sense. I just hope the elves show up to help out in this fight.

I must say Yami appearing surprised me for some reason tabata made us forget Yami for a while with everything thats happening. What I understood with sisgoleon situation is she is getting close to being mana itself which is why she is losing her form. Secre probably healed Yami and William

William could have been absorbing Luciferos mana which is endless at a rate to where he doesn't realize. And even THAT much would be enough to heal them when he seems to have endless based on what Yuno said. I bet he will use a spell like the forbidden fruit that could restore mana and life force as a last resort.

I believe it had to be Patchry to heal Yami with his healing particles of light...William made the hilt for the sword with his world tree magic...Nozel made the blade with his mercury magic.. I believe Yami, Yuno, and Sis Lion are going to hold Lucifero off just long enough for everyone to make a retreat...Asta will try to manifest a new power, but his body is just simply too damaged to go through with the transformation and he will pass out.. and when it seems like they're not going to make it, Sekke will make the sacrifice for them to escape... that my theory/ prediction for the next chapter...always love your content J Cloud, keep it coming✊🏿

Hear me out, Vanessa uses rouge to deny Yami's fate which at the time was at death's door and healed him. But, it is more than likely Secre healed Yami AND William.
Secre can’t heal, she can simply seal the damage, it basically means that she can nullify the effects of an injury for a while but it will still be there, Vanessa’s cat also can’t prevent death, it can prevent the action that will lead to the death of a black bull member and even then its power is not absolute, even Dante easily dispersed it.
Yami’s fate wasn’t to die since not all the gates opened
Hey J, Do you think Yami or William can kill Lucifero since both of them are Arcane Stage? Or do you think only Anti Magic can kill Lucifero.
I think what happened to Mereleona is not that she reached her limit when it comes to mana but that she actually blurred the line between having physical body and becoming mana (t everything in black clover has certain amount of Mana), she would essentially become something spirit-like and not physical. That makes me wonder how it works for other races when Adriamelech says that’s a human limitation… but is it?

I do have a bad feeling that either nacht or Yami dies, as Asta needs to move up in the ranks to stay on par with Yuno. Sure, its easier to climb in the golden dawn since their squad is weaker than BB, but regardless. Either that or he takes nachts spot just because his stronger, but I dont see that happening. I know its a far stretch, but I do believe 1 of them will die
