The cyclist was probably doing 28 mph meaning you have to overtake at 40 to safely not clip him but the police call that dangerous driving as you are now speeding. I've had issues like this before.

Thank you to the brave security guard who intervened. As Norman Brennan pointed out there are so many stabbings going on. Some of them don't make the news - just another day in London. It's a tragedy to see a once great city fall. As a primary school child (yes primary !!) growing up in London, in school holidays, me and my classmates travelled without an adult all over central London on Red Rover bus tickets. All the main sights, museums etc. It was a common practice and safe.

People can be walking around in the shops and malls and simply looking for people who are on the prowl. I'm now 60 years old, and when I was young, a pen knife was carried by everyone, me included. I was a cub scout. A scout. And a sea scout, and a knife was part of out kit. Every man carried a pen knife as a tool to do a variety of jobs. Now, as a camper and a lover of the outdoors, a knife that is an essential item to carry in an environment where it could save a life (not take a life) is no longer allowed. How times have changed

I’ve never taken my kids to London, despite the fact I was born and raised there. I was on the tube during the Stockwell attack. When I was 29 I moved far away. My own daughter is 11 and I have a young son too. It’s not safe there. This proves me right. I hope the mother and daughter manage to recover physically and psychologically.

I’m a woman in London. I’ve been mugged and left with concussion. Pushed down the stairs on a moving bus. Followed and exposed to. Three separate occasions, all with me minding my own business. The perpetrators were always from a minority group. Sweet FA happened. When I was mugged, the most recent event, I didn’t go to the police until my Dr told me to. I just thought “what’s the point?”

Last week a 16 year old was apprehended by police officers a few hundred yards from my home. The 16 year old had a knife and a balaclava, seems he was on his way to a protest. The police officers are being criticized for their heavy handed approach.

Thank you to the brave security guard who intervened. As Norman Brennan pointed out there are so many stabbings going on. Some of them don't make the news - just another day in London. It's a tragedy to see a once great city fall. As a primary school child (yes primary !!) growing up in London, in school holidays, me and my classmates travelled without an adult all over central London on Red Rover bus tickets. All the main sights, museums etc. It was a common practice and safe.

Watching from a country 2,000 kilometers from Kiev, where apparently 1,300 Russian soldiers lost their lives in front-line attacks, to turn on TH-cam and hear Officer Brenan and Ms Phillips reporting on the unbelievable stabbing of a young girl and her mother in The United Kingdom stops my clock cold. There is no part of my mind where even the thought of such a dreadful deed could ever find shelter, and yet here we hear Alex reporting on an epidemic of knifings across Great Britain. I am an inventor and an artist and here is what I would do if I were in your Prime Minister's shoes. This is a time for having more eyes on crowds. There are hundreds of people in every village, town and city desperate for work. Why not engage people like extras in a film who are simply paid to be observing, walking around, having a cuppa on a terrace in front of a café. People can be walking around in the shops and malls and simply looking for people who are on the prowl. I do not know police work, but I believe people who go on a rampage have a certain 'look' in their demeanor. Look, Alex, Officer Brenan, hiring people to be 'watchers' will not cost a fortune and it will work because it's plain logical to see that there are never going to be enough police on the streets and something is needed immediately to stop the senseless knife attacks.

I'm now 60 years old, and when I was young, a pen knife was carried by everyone, me included. I was a cub scout. A scout. And a sea scout, and a knife was part of out kit. Every man carried a pen knife as a tool to do a variety of jobs. Now, as a camper and a lover of the outdoors, a knife that is an essential item to carry in an environment where it could save a life (not take a life) is no longer allowed. How times have changed
yep, this is a very sad outcome, the difference between knife as a tool that almost everyone carried when I was younger and knife as a weapon is crazy. I remember being given my first penknife, it was a big moment for me and was an important part of growing up, it was getting that responsibility handed to me and I'd been taught how to use it properly. Now a knife is looked at as a dangerous thing. We should get back to teaching people how to use tools properly.

I've seen two instances where the heavily Left-wing American media manipulated the narrative by publishing a picture of a white person when the perpetrator was black. They then claimed: "It was just a library picture to show a person of about the right age and sex being arrested."

I’ve never taken my kids to London, despite the fact I was born and raised there. I was on the tube during the Stockwell attack. When I was 29 I moved far away. My own daughter is 11 and I have a young son too. It’s not safe there. This proves me right. I hope the mother and daughter manage to recover physically and psychologically.
