[ Deeper Deeper ] is also recommended because the arrangement of the music video and the live performance are different! The live version is recommended for Yokohama Stadium in 2014!
I saw them at a tiny venue and they still brought the energy of a full stadium show. Also, the bassist Ryota Kohama, is the brother-in-law of singer Avril Lavigne. Just a fun fact for the day. Thanks again for reacting to OOR! PS. Loved the head banging!
The band themselves have straight up said before that the albums are nothing but an invitation to the live shows! Glad you’re digging them, and I’ll put another vote for the version of Deeper Deeper from the same Mighty Long Fall tour in Yokohama…
They were touring with MUSE in the US. They are going to be touring with them again in Europe. They have two more concert dates in Japan in a few months. I am a kpop fan but i love me some OOR! So glad i was able to go on their last US concert tour last year with FameOnFire and another band. It was an amazing concert and the people who I met there were very nice! Hopefully you can see them live too!
If you keep on reacting to them you will notice that this band is something different. I really wanna see them live but here in Japan so hard to get their ticket...hope you can get it !
あなたのリアクションはとても良かったです。まずMVを見て歌詞を読んで、それからLIVEで改めて感動しているリアクションは初めて見ました。こんな素敵なバンドを人生の初めの方で知りたかったですよね😢 I like your reaction. You watched the music video with lyrics, then the live. Your style is very interesting and I enjoyed so much!😊
The reason why the Yokohama Stadium performances is much more intense is because the song is the very last song of the tour while the Yokohama Arena one is the first encore of the tour 😆
There are a lot of kpop artists who like OOR. Super Junior's Yesung has actually covered a couple of their songs. BTS Jungkook is also a fan. Taka is friends with FT Island's Hongki. OOR is really big in Asia. Since you talked about shows stopping to help people who've fallen or whatever, this has happened several times at OOR shows too. Taka is very observant and he'll always stop the show to get people any help they might need, give them water, etc.
I saw them live last year and it was still mindblowing, even having watched countless live videos. The way he sings is absurd, and the energy is incredible! They do scream in lots of other songs, like One by One, Juvenile, and deeper deeper which has been mentioned by several others!
I've been a fan of OOR for a long time and still haven't seen them in concert :( Maybe one day though! I've also been listening to "The Beginning" nonstop lately. For some reason, I love it more than I did when I heard it for the first time years ago lol. Side note: If you wanna hear screams in their songs, I recommend "Deeper Deeper" or "No Scared" as the next song to check out. "Deeper Deeper" is my favorite song by them to date. Thanks for the reaction 🤍
Bummer. I know you will get to see them some day! And both of those are on my list!! Definitely going to dive deeper with them, but with some other videos mixed in between, so don’t think I forgot about them if it’s been more than a week lol
If you are planning to watch them in Japan, I must day goodluck to you sir. They are really big in Japan that tix are sold immediately, not to mention their ticketing process in Japan is different in other country. Also, they just recently did their Luxury Disease tour in Japan and some places were actually in a 2 day concert. That is how in deman they are. But I am really encouraging you to watch them live, cuz they are that worth it. (tho never seen them in one. Lol) I also like the way that you reacted to the mv, lyric then live.. If you want to see why OOR is exceptional, you should watch their Wherever you are live performances. That specific song have like 3 versions in live, if I remember it correctly. Their live version of Take What You Want and One Way Ticket is also really great compare to the live version of it. I hope you could check that out.
Usually I'd recommend attending their lives if there's a chance, but as they're opening for Muse, they're the 1st set and perform for about 20 to 30 mins and you can check out their opening parts on YT ^^
You’re the most fun reactor that i found recently. A new sub. Btw thanks for the free patreon vid. About the sub yeah I’m kinda disappointed cuz most japanese singer/band doesn’t make it accessible enough. Bet they’re gonna be more popular if they do.
Hey!! Thanks so much for saying that! It is definitely strange that they don’t seeing as how open the world is right now, plus they are signed with and American label so you would think it would be definitively marketed more to the USA
Guys, it's easy to watch it at Patreon (address on the description above), completely free (even for no subscribers like me). It's an amazing reaction, so I went there and watched it fully, without any TH-cam blocking... Thanks for this!
Lol Thank you for understanding!! a bunch of people always try and "call me out for selling my Patreon" whenever I make that announcement. I feel like I stress the FREE part enough, but I guess I gotta go harder lol!! but seriously thank you for the compliment!!
I saw them back in October and you're absolutely right about this song - the crowd was at 11 the whole time, but when the intro to this song played it felt like the venue was about to take off into space from the hype alone! It honestly surprised me as it was in very American Cleveland, so I wasn't expecting the song with the most Japanese to be the crowd favorite, but it makes sense in hindsight. This was their introduction song for more than just me after all. It was definitely a lesson to never underestimate OOR fans! And the comraderie, like you said... I have a kidney disease that makes me need to drink like twice the amount of water as a normal person, but since it was my first concert I wasn't prepared for the crowd to be so dense I couldn't even get to concession once lol. They had little cups of water at the barricade though, and the tall guy in front of me got me multiple cups through the show, even though I felt like I was being greedy. I owe him so much for that! I didn't get to see him after the show but for those few hours he was someone very important to me. Tall guy from the Toru side barricade in Cleveland, if you're ever lurking around OOR reactions like I do, thank you for your kindness! I'll never forget that. I don't know what's already been recommended to you, but some of my favorites from OOR are "Cry Out" and "Take What You Want" from the Ambitions Japan Dome Tour. Thank you for reacting to OOR!
Mike, thank you so much for doing more one ok rock 🥰 you made my day, today has been rough. I love them so much 💜 when I saw one ok rock it was seriously amazing and I'm frustrated I missed them this year, I think I was seeing Epik High instead lol
I'm a kpop fan, a VIP and a Blackjack, came here coz One OK Rock is my fave. I'm a rock/metal fan after all. Hence the high standard when it comes to live performance. 🤭🤭🤭
One OK Rock is my Fav musician.. I really love their live performances.. glad that I saw them live here in the Philippines last 2018.. please do react also to the kpop group NMIXX (kpop) and Xdinary Heroes (krock band) these 2 groups are good also in live performances better than their studio ver.. especially xdinary heroes.. but yes, they are not near at one ok rock.. but they are good when you compare to other kpop groups
Nice reaction to an awesone band please more reaction i suggest No Scared, Never Let This Go, Juvenile, Take Me To The Top, Lets Take It Someday, Answer is Near, Suddenly.. and moreeee!!!
There's actually a video of Taka the vocalist from One OK Rock stopping a song because the audience was pushing too much and people were getting hurt somewhere on TH-cam.
Honestly I have noticed too. It's really freakin annoying. TH-cam just doesn't like me I guess. I have reached out to other reactors to see if I am just doing something wrong and most just never responded and the ones who did are doing the same as me with no consequence.
I don’t know any other rock band that sounds like a recording like one ok rock does .

Makes sense!
Lol. You found my fave Japanese rock band. And my fave song of theirs. I'm a Rurouni Kenshin fan since I was a kid. ❤️❤️❤️
They were touring with MUSE in the US. They are going to be touring with them again in Europe. They have two more concert dates in Japan in a few months. I am a kpop fan but i love me some OOR! I knew these guys were cool! Happy to know they are watching out for people!

They are freaking awesome. The hype is unreal from the crowd.
They are the best, they make great uplifting, positive and energy filling music
You should definitely go see them live! Saw them once and waiting for them to come back here in 🇵🇭
They are literally in LA next week or possibly 2 weeks from now (I don’t remember off the top of my head) but I am busy the day they are here 💀

Yea kind of a bummer that they only get a small slot but hey, would still be cool to see them

I can't agree with you more about good rock concerts. Most of the audience is nice and friendly.
There's actually a video of Taka the vocalist from One OK Rock stopping a song because the audience was pushing too much and people were getting hurt somewhere on TH-cam.
Love them as much as BB
It’s weird how your videos always get blocked when there are so many other reactions to these same videos.
