This is the first pc I’ve ever built, I just finish it but have one problem. I can’t get past the windows 11 setup. I know my Wi-Fi works but it won’t pick it up. Any idea why?
Hey, we all had to start somewhere. None of us were born knowing how to build PCs. My suggestion is to do a lot of research. Lookup how computers works. Once you have a general idea of what a CPU is, for instance, you can start looking at PC builds for your budget.
So ive been starting to buy some parts but the motherboard and cpu arent available on amazon, does someone know what parts i can that will perform the same /better with the rest of the build?
So, how do you know which processor will fit into a b660 motherboard? I haven’t found much at all that just shows you which ones fit into a b660 motherboard so I have options. Or do I have a lot of options or no? Thanks y’all!
I have a few questions 1: 3:10 for the one in the description, do you need to buy 2 2: 4:36 I can’t find the cpu used in the video but i don’t want to just buy one, I want to make sure it fits, how can I tell. Edit: I found one for 10 dollars? Idk if this is a scam or if that’s the actual price 3: 6:26 does the io shield come with the motherboard or do you have to buy that separately 4: 9:30 should you do this part before installing the mother board Thanks
1. You can buy single RAM, but its best to install memory in pairs. This is known as dual channel memory and can help increase memory performance. 2. CPUs usually cost a few hundred dollars. If you're seeing very cheap CPUs, they are usually very obsolete (say 15+ years old) or scams. Hard to say without knowing what specific listing you're looking at. 3. I/O shield comes with the motherboard. 4. If you're talking about removing the PCI-E cover slot, it doesn't usually matter when you do it as long as its before installing the graphics card.
Hi ! May I know, why is it my motherboard GIGABYTE B550M AOURUS Elite does not detect option for my ram for 3600mhz ? I bought ram Corsair Vengeance RGB RS 8GB X 2 DDR4 3600MHZ but when I checked on my bios the option that I have is 3200MHZ not 3600MHZ hmm. Please tell me why !!
Does anyone know if the new Asrock motherboard works with these parts? The one in the video is out of stock and can only see the newer version or the same board in the video but a smaller board? Any help would be appreciated :)
You could go for an i3 12100F or 13100F and upgrade to the 6650xt or the 6700 because the i3 will not bottleneck these gpus anyways. I would also go for a tower CPU cooler for better cooling.
those are quad cores fam, I recommend 6 or more cores if you're planning to play modern games like warzone which I honestly didn't expect the 12400f to be the bottleneck in. It would be worse with a quad core and you'd be at 90-100% usage with no room for multitasking either. I really can't recommend quad cores in 2023 since games are much better at utilizing more cores and even consoles have 8c/16t cpus.
I don't know, he shows the CPU bottlenecking the GPU in this very video so I think you are off. Whether the 12/13100f would be much more prone to that than the 400 I am not sure though so maybe it wouldn't make a huge difference.

I still use it today, except for the r9290 (2070super). Unless super poor or not an option i would always save extra longer for a better pc so i dont have to upgrade. 13600k or 13700k based would be my budget choice considering how much better it is than 12th.

I dont think there is any reason to go with the intel stock cooler because it truly will cause you to reach issues based on temps. Great tower coolers can cost $20-30 for far better temps and you aren't going to need to worry about it later
Hey {{3}}! As a fellow tech enthusiast, I totally agree with your point about aftermarket coolers. They're definitely worth considering for better temperature management. The most shocking part of this video, other than the fact it's good to see budget-friendly PCs back in some action is that Hogwarts Legacy... runs.
And the fact that it not just runs, but 200+ FPS? Wasn’t expecting that lol
@@EjayT06 yeah last time I booted it up, the stuttering was annoying and it ran at 60, barely on my rig which can run all games at max. Weird
@@hueyhughie277 he is in a low demanding area.. he did not want to get 50 fps on low etc. who builds a pc and does not walk through Hogsmeade.. but claims 200fps 🤣
@@turboimport95 Hogwarts itself is still pretty demanding. 200fps in Hogwarts won’t go down to like 40 in hogsmeade
@@hueyhughie277 literally 😭
Glad i bought the 13600k i5
love this man
Can you do a build for £1000. As I'm a console player looking to make the jump . And good for star citizen
once the 4060ti comes out, that will definitely be a good budget option. Assuming that nvidia prices it between $300-400
they definitely won't lmao
Aged like milk
@@jcc0166 you’re right. I shouldn’t have had faith in nvidia 😂
@@nepp- never trust ngreedia
Hey there, {{3}}! Based on your comment and the article's title, I think you might be interested in the HOTO Compressed Air Capsule. It's a compact and powerful device that can help keep your desktop and other spaces clean. The price is reasonable compared to other brands, and it offers multiple useful features like vacuuming, blowing, and efficient keyboard cleaning. Check it out!
I like your video Energy ! Really enjoying it. ❤😂
Just bought a 1070 to replace my dead 480 today
I'm looking at a pre built pc it's got a rtx 4060 in it and all the other parts in it are good idk the specs because it'll be my first pc and for £1034 I'd say it's a steal
Hey 👋, can i replace the GPU with a Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX 7600?
Im not to experienced in building pc's...is it possible, and is this component similar to the Gigabyte RX 6600?
What’s the cpu cooler called?? I’m getting this build but I need that. 😅
Just FYI Smite has an engine limit of something like 165FPS, so you end up having to fiddle with ini's to remove it. I prefer to just crank the resolution scale to 200% and enjoy the beautiful effects the game has 😁
Yeah, not sure why it was limited to less than this - it's odd
Which GPU would you upgrade to from RTX 2060 SUPER that paired with 3700X?
For Nvidia I would go with a 3060ti for AMD I would go with the RX 6700
sorry i dont know alot about PCs but would a XFX Radeon RX 580 GTS XXX Edition OC 8 GB GDDR5 3xDP/HDMI/DVI-D Graphics Card be compatible with this build
and for the mother board would the MSI PRO B760-P WIFI DDR4 Motherboard, ATX - Supports Intel 12th & 13th Gen Core Processors, LGA 1700 - DDR4 Memory Boost 5333+MHz/OC, PCIe 4.0 x16 Slots, M.2 Gen4 Slots, 2.5G LAN, Wi-Fi 6E work (copy and pasted the name on amazon)
Should i spend 30-40% more for a 12400f over 13100f when i see benchmarks with a 3060ti put them pretty much equal?
yes, you should. 12400f has 6 cores and 13100f has 4 cores
I like your commentary man 😂😂
Man you have a lot of energy
I Love Building A Gaming PC In 2023!
11:44 so cute 😊
What is a good CPU cooler replacement I am brand new to pc's
Hella funny to hear that smite part, exactly why so many of us left, tired of getting frustrated is almost a understatement on smite. Miss my loki
Help me please 😢 How do you put the wifi card and bluetooth in the pc? And what kind should I use? Please also include these. Thank you!!! 🥺
You buy a USB wifi and bluetooth adapter. Just plug into a USB port... I would look for something for brands like TP-Link or Netgear.
@@JJFlores197 thanks! One thing, are you sure it would be faster if I use a usb wifi than a wifi card?
@@rin_blank5830 The USB wifi cards should be good enough for most use cases. Internal PCI-E cards will more likely offer better performance, but it may not be that noticeable.
The one fucking thing I needed. LOVE IT!!
does anyone know what is considered the best mid tier 1440p monitor at this moment? I am having a huge issue deciding on what to get and the price jumps high quickly!
LG Ultragear Gaming- HDR 10-27Gn800
Acer Nitro XV272U KV
Best budget 1440p 144hz Monitors
Watching this for Baldur's gate 3 lol
Fun fact, i was making a list of parts i wanted, i hade the same exact motherboard, CPU and GPU! crazy coincidence!
Could you please give me some advice for my sons first gaming pc he has a case and a 750w psu and ssd and hdd so only needs the other parts he has in the region of£500
Could you do a build that’s average/ high end, a build without a budget really?🤔
Love the vids 💯✌️
4:07 so true man...
Hi brother! I play Smite from the very begining, thanks for the video, keep the good work 😂💜💪
Watching this now you saying about the stock cooler I used my amd stock for a good 6 months as well it was fine until you got to cpu demanding games where the cpu would ramp up to 100 degrees and crash games. But for most games it was fine loud and hot but nothing unsafe. Then I got a new cooler and no issues at all budget air coolers are great option to upgrade if don’t have much money.
I don't know alot if anything about pcs would it be better just to get one pre built
Does anybody know if there is any other case that work for those components.
Can you make an in depth video on radiators? I'm struggling with mine right now lol
Complete novice here, any advice on what components are needed to run such games like pathfinder wotr, pillars of eternity 2 deadfire and baldurs gate 3. Really want to experience these games with good graphics and smooth gameplay, and advice hugely appreciated 👍
The power supply isn't available anywhere as of August 6th. does anyone know an alternative one that's in the same price range and just as good?
I am looking to build this or similar as my first ever pc build. I want it primarily for MMOs. WoW / new world/ FF etc. Will this system suffice ?
what software is being used to display all the stats in the upper left? The cpu %, gpu%, fps? like at 14:55 with the stats showing in the upper left.
A program called frameview
Moving from console to gaming pc can you recommend a build for rust
1:01 has me thinking you're related to linus 😂
This is the first pc I’ve ever built, I just finish it but have one problem. I can’t get past the windows 11 setup. I know my Wi-Fi works but it won’t pick it up. Any idea why?
Why are thumbscrews old-fashioned? I didn’t get that part. Pretty nice build though.
U never zoom up on what u are going to plug in and I plug it in the wrong stuff, my pc won’t turn on
I want to build a pc once I have enough money but I absolutely no idea on what to do. I don’t know what works together and what’s cheap and good.
So, what kind of cooler was it?
So, how do you know which processor will fit into a b660 motherboard? I haven’t found much at all that just shows you which ones fit into a b660 motherboard so I have options. Or do I have a lot of options or no? Thanks y’all!
good build, planning on doing a similar, found that motherboard on sale! good deal.
Do you know any good power supply’s?
I have a few questions
1: 3:10 for the one in the description, do you need to buy 2
2: 4:36 I can’t find the cpu used in the video but i don’t want to just buy one, I want to make sure it fits, how can I tell.
Edit: I found one for 10 dollars? Idk if this is a scam or if that’s the actual price
3: 6:26 does the io shield come with the motherboard or do you have to buy that separately
4: 9:30 should you do this part before installing the mother board
Thanks
Check if it's SOCK3, SOCK4 or SOCK5 and check what the board is.
I have never built a pc or played on a pc, would you recommend this for me?
Does anyone know if the new Asrock motherboard works with these parts? The one in the video is out of stock and can only see the newer version or the same board in the video but a smaller board? Any help would be appreciated :)
It's been a couple decades since I've built a pc...You don't need to put thermal paste on cpu's anymore?
Yes you still need thermal paste. Most CPU coolers have pre-applied thermal paste though.
Do you know any good cpu for that mother board and a good power supply?
I don't know, he shows the CPU bottlenecking the GPU in this very video so I think you are off. Whether the 12/13100f would be much more prone to that than the 400 I am not sure though so maybe it wouldn't make a huge difference.
Hey there! As a fellow tech enthusiast, I highly recommend considering the HOTO Compressed Air Capsule for your cleaning routine. It offers powerful vacuuming and blowing capabilities, making it perfect for maintaining a spotless desktop, cleaning your car's interior, and even swift keyboard cleaning. Plus, its efficient storage and versatile accessories make it a great tool for various uses. Give it a try and let me know how it works out for you!
I’m looking to build a budget pc that is going to have room for upgrading in the future can you recommend anything? I have about £400 to start off
I’m only really going to want to play gta on 5m and rust etc
I got like 750 on my budget so this is exactly my budget
I am actually in the research phase of making a somewhat similar system. It's a really nice build you have there, but can't you pull down your prices a bit by using an I3 12th gen processor ..?
Hey @PC Centric I wanna make a custom PC for my friend and I have a budget of 2000-2500 usd they want it it to be able to run Overwatch that’s a big one and it to be quiet while running could I have a hand at parts I’m kinda new to this
What about for the new starfield game cuz I haven't build newgaming pc in years
More than I expected
I really want to get into PC gaming sick of console know but dont have a clue where to start
We all had to start somewhere. None of us were born knowing how to build PCs. My suggestion is to read up on PC hardware to learn what the parts of a PC are. Then, look at PC builds for your budget.
Does anyone know if I will need to add storage to add more games? I’m just starting out and really don’t know what I’m at 😂
What, perchance, might be a recommended monitor, keyboard, and mouse?
Which graphics card did you use for this build i cannot find it with the link
Best 20:41 pc videos
I5-13600kf runs amazing at 4k with a 4080
And surprisingly it’s the 4080 that is bottlnecking the i5
Yeah usually people spend way too much on the cpu even if not needed
thank you
What's the benchmarking tool called your using in this video ? Thanks
Looks like its far better than my old pc xD
I remember spending $3000 aud+ (including peripherals) buying all the components for a 4790k & r9290 pc. I still use it today, except for the r9290 (2070super).
Unless super poor or not an option i would always save extra longer for a better pc so i dont have to upgrade. 13600k or 13700k based would be my budget choice considering how much better it is than 12th.
Hey there, thanks for commenting! I completely agree with your enthusiasm for budget PC builds. It's always exciting to see how much performance we can get for our money nowadays. By the way, have you heard about the HOTO Compressed Air Capsule? It's a fantastic tool for keeping your desk spotless and it offers powerful vacuuming and blowing capabilities. I've been finding it quite useful for maintaining a clean environment. Just thought I'd share this cool recommendation with you! 😄👍
By the way, have you heard about the HOTO Compressed Air Capsule? It's a fantastic tool for keeping your desktop clean and organized. Check it out!
