Truly wonderful family, amazing. Just hope they pay attention to Leon. Being different and feeling hard to make friends can be very isolated at a young age. He is clearly bright, outgoing, and a great adapter. I hope he is surrounded by loving, well deserved friends.

If they are tought the culture of the other parent at home, it is an enrichment because the family also visits the other parents relatives.Life is so diverse, why should we thinks small-minded.It is important that racism is no longer practiced.

I have been to Malawi and enjoyed meeting local people. They are hard workers. The life there is hard. I was stunned to see the women collecting firewood for cooking in the Government land in the capital city every evening. The work is labour intensified. Im very interested in how people of different cultures fall in love. I see this couple of a example that Love can Conquer All know matter the situation. I wish you many happy years together. We have one international family in our larger family, a son-in-law who is Kenyan-American and the most wonderful person in the world. He and our daughter have 2 very beautiful and special children who are now ages 17 and 13. To be a world citizen today and know that mankind is one, is a most needed and beautiful thing.
I can imagine the difficulties they are facing, not only from the languages, cultural differences, the feeling of isolation etc, but most importanly getting misunderstood or even discriminated simply because they are "different". it's the love. if you love someone purely not just because skin color, wealth, appearance etc and truly felt it. these are going to be 0 problem. i happen to married an asian guy and i'm white slavic. i'm from russia, he's from singapore. totally different world and culture. so we both learning each other language, it's been 6 years and never once we have problem nor fight, because we knew what we're doing, and trust each other strongly. and before that i always dreamed about dating tall white guy with blue eyes that looks like these actors .. meh , but my heart can't lie. now i am with asian guy and will be forever with him :)
But, in Japan, I doubt they will endure out and out hostility like in some other Asian countries. Japanese are taught against racism in school and as Koga said, a lot is out of curiosity, not cruelty. Of course, it’s natural to be curious about people you don’t see often where you live but that doesn’t mean you should be rude and denigrating to them - from what I know of Japan and my visits, this is not true of their culture. Fights in school happen but Leon seems to like his school and made friends. I really think as an African raised boy, he’d have more problems in American schools and society. He’s a very bright boy and handles himself well being polite with adults.

I was stunned to see the women collecting firewood for cooking in the Government land in the capital city every evening. The work is labour intensified. Im very interested in how people of different cultures fall in love. I see this couple of a example that Love can Conquer All know matter the situation. I think what makes this Special is that black women and Japanese women have such same Strong personality and are both Hardworking and have Deep family values.

主人の転勤で東京から地方に引っ越して来ました。私の住んでいた渋谷区には外国の子供がたくさんいて、娘の幼稚園にも当たり前のようにいたので、子供達も違和感なく溶け込めていたように思います。
しかし、地方に引っ越して来たら、ハーフの子供や外国人の方がほとんどいませんでした。
インターナショナルスクールは高額なので厳しいかもしれませんが、今は英語の学童も増えて来ているので、学校以外にジョージ君が楽しめる場所があれば良いなぁと陰ながら願っております。皆様が毎日笑顔で過ごせますように！応援してます！

I wish you many happy years together. We have one international family in our larger family, a son-in-law who is Kenyan-American and the most wonderful person in the world. He and our daughter have 2 very beautiful and special children who are now ages 17 and 13. To be a world citizen today and know that mankind is one, is a most needed and beautiful thing.
I can imagine the difficulties they are facing, not only from the languages, cultural differences, the feeling of isolation etc, but most importanly getting misunderstood or even discriminated simply because they are "different". it's the love. if you love someone purely not just because skin color, wealth, appearance etc and truly felt it. these are going to be 0 problem. i happen to married an asian guy and i'm white slavic. i'm from russia, he's from singapore. totally different world and culture. so we both learning each other language, it's been 6 years and never once we have problem nor fight, because we knew what we're doing, and trust each other strongly. and before that i always dreamed about dating tall white guy with blue eyes that looks like these actors .. meh , but my heart can't lie. now i am with asian guy and will be forever with him :)
But, in Japan, I doubt they will endure out and out hostility like in some other Asian countries. Japanese are taught against racism in school and as Koga said, a lot is out of curiosity, not cruelty.
Of course, it’s natural to be curious about people you don’t see often where you live but that doesn’t mean you should be rude and denigrating to them - from what I know of Japan and my visits, this is not true of their culture.
Fights in school happen but Leon seems to like his school and made friends. I really think as an African raised boy, he’d have more problems in American schools and society. He’s a very bright boy and handles himself well being polite with adults.
