I am crazy about the gingham rabbit and the sheep with the flower wreath. So beautiful! All of them turned out really great! Miles has gotten so big! He's just beautiful!
I could only wish to be so very talented as you. I so love how you gave each basket there own individual gift. You are amazing. Thank you for sharing your gift 👏👍🙏🤗❤️
Have you ever tried the iron on method of decoupage? That’s where you paint on the decoupage medium, let it dry. Then put the paper on and go over it with a dry iron. It reactivates the medium enough to grab the paper, but it does not wrinkle. Then, you can seal it with more coats of decoupage medium.
I've kind of tried....I attempted to iron out the wrinkles on my first chicken paper attempt but it was too late to save it. I've heard that that method is especially good when lining dresser drawers, I'll have to try it soon and see if things go a little more smoothly. Thanks for the comment!!

Always enjoy your thrift flips, you do a great job AND are a wonderful Mother. Balancing everything is not easy and still being a good Mother, good job. Love your gingham technique and the rabbit with the lavender, so pretty!
I have a square picnic basket that I painted a year ago and I’ve been hesitant to decoupage it out of fear…I’m weird that way, afraid of messing it up. I’m always that way about projects. However, the bottom is black and I have beautiful black floral napkins for it and the top is white and I have white with black silhouetted flowers on it. It’ll be pretty when I finally do it. The napkins came from Tuesday Morning, they have the most beautiful napkins! I love the rooster paper. Roosters are my favorite. I love the wrinkles in the rooster paper, you must use it in a frame or something, maybe antique it to make it look more worn and old.
Great ideas! I have some baskets like that that I need to redo. I especially love the paper with the vegetables and the chickens. I hope I can find those prints!
Hi Nicole ! Oh….LOVE the one with the Vegetable Paper… I still have a crush on the ROLLING PIN you put it on ❤️. Next the Chickens ! That paper is beautiful! How pretty the Lavender Wreath Transfer looks with the Sheep in the center ! Love them all ! Guess I need to keep my eyes open for a Picnic Basket ! I finally WON the Bid on an Arcade Wall Coffee Grinder similar to yours! I have not forgotten yours! It has all the original glass jars to it also! I went to $125.00 and holding my breath…I didn’t want to go higher and I WON 😁. Looks so great on my shiplapped wall by my coffee bar. Check that off my “would love to have if possible lost ”…LOL!!! Thanks for giving the great inspiration to us ! Love your work! God bless ! 💛🌞💛

I absolutely love how everything turned out Nicole ❣️ You definitely have an eye for design and a very creative mind‼️ Thank you for always being such a huge inspiration ❤️
Love the picnic baskets, especially the checkered gingham one. So very cute. I live in central illinois, close to Peoria, so I hope to visit your shop some day on a day trip.
Loved all of your picnic baskets.. the plaid one was my favorite, wonderful job, I have several of the picnic baskets also, thx for the wonderful ideas♥️
I have a new picnic basket that I’d like to add some character to. Thanks for the ideas…I liked the gingham checked one the best! Edit: PS. That baby is gorgeous!!!
These are all fabulous!!! But I'm partial to rabbits and the stamp looked perfect with the muted colors of the gingham. Your baby is getting big!! Almost a year old now, right?! Both your kiddos are beautiful!!!

I like the bicycle one the best for I could see someone on a bicycle in an english village carrying it. The hen one would be for chicken eggs of course.
I just found your video and channel for the first time while googling repurposing picnic baskets and live your easy ideas! I have two that were given to me that I'm trying to figure out what to do with them... Also, I noticed you were sanding the paper on the edges sideways. Not sure if you know, but if you sand straight down instead, it'll given you a much more clean seam and won't tear your paper in circumstances when you aren't planning to distress the piece. Anyway, lovely ideas and I'll have to check out your other videos!
Love them all! I can't pick a favorite. Don't throw out the wrinkled rooster paper. I did the same thing only my paper adhered. I just sanded the wrinkles lightly, distressed the edges & used dark wax lightly on the dges & wrinkles. It looked great. No one will ever know it was an oops lol

Loved all of them! Can't pick a favorite. I didnt see a link for the Cavallini posters you used. Thanks!
ALL ARE AMAZING.....
Great job! I think the square baskets are pie baskets. I have one with a piece of wood with legs so 2 pies can go in the same pasket.
Yes you're right! One had a fully intact pie stand inside, how fun!
