Loved this video. As an aspireing game/film/entertaiment 3D artist, I loved watching you go into detail! It's awesome to know what catches your eye on a realistic piece like this. It's given me a lot of insight as to what potential recruiters might be looking for in my works.
I have not visited your channel in quite some time, but I'm so happy I did and found this. This is incredibly inspiring and interesting! I had no idea this was your RL job, and as a graphic designer, I am elated that this is what you do. Now I understand WHY you give everything you produce such attention to detail. Yes! Please DO make more content like this!
The detail in this CGI is beyond amazing, and it is scary just how far it has come, combined with AI I don't blame actors for being angry and scared for their jobs. As an artist I can totally understand why you are taken with this cinematic. It is a very beautifully done cinematic and sure makes you want to play the next expansion, job done lol. 😊Thanks for sharing, will watch more of the in depth later today.
This was so cool! I didn't know this was your day job. I watched the whole thing because I enjoy watching other's reactions to cinematics or my favorite songs. Your expertise on the subject was interesting as well and I hope you do more of this type of content in the future.
You pointed out all the little things we miss, Like the spot of water in the corner of the eye, That make the cinematic so overall amazing and so lifelike. Do they perhaps look at a close up of a real eye opening and closing to notice those small changes in the skin ect....? Amazing work.
Me and my friend thought it was real life at first, then we realised it was graphics, but then we were like "is it?, is it both? no it's graphics!! that's insaneeeee!" lol
Sir, you have earned another Sub, great (for lack of a better word, "bestest" maybe) analysis I have seen so far. You know your trade and it shows and it is appreciated for sure! The clip, for me, to this point is best CGI I have seen and seems like a breakthrough for the Uncanny Valley we usually experience - in regards to Anduin

Thanks! I certainly have more planned as soon as I get the time.

Yeah it's so beautiful. I'm not too concerned with ai replacing jobs, but it must be done ethically and with consent
@@SamadanPlaysWoW This cinematic was also 100% hand animated with no motion capture. True REAL artistry.
This was great to see, didn't know you worked in CG! Thanks for the video.
Really wish Blizzard would give us a version outside of TH-cam compression!
Yeah, would love to have a super high quality version

Ty! I'm certainly planning more based on the positive response to this one!

Oh absolutely! You can tell the close observation with good reference.

Exactly. At the point you are questioning it, you know it must be good!
random aside, pointer hit the bottom, quickbar pops up, there is CurseForge. yup. one of us. xD
Yup! It's pretty much a mix of WoW and 3D stuff!
it was really fun geeking out about this one with you !
Thanks, it was a lot of fun to get really into the details.
LOVE this breakdown of it.
Cheers Dave! Glad you liked it!

Thankyou! Yes, I agree the performance certainly is believable.
@@SamadanPlaysWoW your wording is better, believable is the word I was looking for, it does look like “acting”
I like how you have some knowledge and game experience to go along with whats the extreme technical side of this wonderful trailer
Thanks! I hope it provides a unique perspective
Jamir Blanco did the art for Anduin
Yeah I saw on art station. It was cool!
Man, you got another series on your hands :)
I hope they make many more for me to go over!
Warcraft is magic
It is indeed
Very cool!!
Thanks!
Say waht you will about this game, but Blizzards art and cinematic teams have always been the best in the business hands down.
Facts.
just saying...wow is the best has always been and will always be.:)
It is indeed!
bad video pacing, people wanna see you watch it fully first and react
Thanks for the feedback! I appreciate there is an expected order to these things.
not a react
Correct. I felt an analysis from my perspective was more valuable.
@@SamadanPlaysWoW very fair, just had react in title
