    I mean it sounds good. Here there is about 150Keuro of equipment.
    With a Raspberry Pi 4, Linux, a nice calibrated set of convolutional filters to carefully fix the frequency response of the room, a pair of Lumina Vs driven by a Cambdige Audio CXA 81 and a Topping E50, I get a reasonably close result (but youtube does not help judging). Anyway I'm very happy for a setup of 3,8K euros ;)

    Question for everyone here with first hand experience: The Serafinos or B&W 803 D4? I don't want to hear "depends what you listen to" as I listen to anything and everything! I am not able to audition either model due to being in a small market area. Basically just curious as to what people say about each model's strengths and weaknesses. ANY help is appreciated, and once again, what an awesome video demonstration from SS!

      While i have not heard both spks side by side, going by their inherent character, B&W should sound cooler, less warm, but more exciting, intense & more incisive. The diamond tweeter on top of the 804D4 will also give a more spacious & airy soundstage & more extended shimmering highs.

      Firstly question why only a certain type of musical genre is played on all these speakers. Because all speakers have a reference point to which they are built. Hence all speakers have a different personality. So if you want to hear hip hop or Billie jean ..please don't buy a sonus faber...you will enjoy it on a Jamo and don't buy a jamo if you want to listen to diana krall or Rebecca pigeon.

      Having said that, one loudspeaker that actually does sound fantastic whether you’re playing Mario Lanza or Massive Attack is the Bang & Olufsen Beolab 90. It plays every genre exceptionally well.

    I truly question why this is the music playing in all of these

    • @e.giessenvander3489
      @e.giessenvander3489 ปีที่แล้ว

      Agree: this kind of music will sound quite well on almost any system. What is really discriminating is the complex sound of a big orchestra plus choir, think Verdi's or Mozart's Requiem. This will probably reveal a substantial difference between the Serafinos or B&W 803 D4, to follow up on the discussion triggered by Scaf_007 VS.
