i worked in 4 jaw chuck . for my university exam first time cannot able to center the workpiece.then i place almost 3/4 portion of the workpiece into the chuck.only little portion out to perform facing and drilling. then i tight the 4 jaws and rotate in low speed .i notice that there is only very slight deflection.i neglect it.and performed facing and drilling.then off the machne.
and put the workpiece out and hold small portion in chuck .then i place the lengthy workpiece between the 2 centres to avoid deflection.but after on the machine the work deflected.but i perform plain turning.and grooving.last submitted.
GUYS LATHE IS EASY TO PERFORM BUT DIFFICULT TO SETTING THE JOB . IF ANY STUDENTS WATCHING THESE VIDEO AND COMMANT.PLZ MAKE SURE THAT YOU CAN ABLE TO SETT THE WORKPIECE GOOD.BECAUSE ALL OTHER OPERATIONS DEPENDS ON THE PROPER SETTING OF WORK IN JAW WITHOUT ANY DEFLECTION
