The unholy amount of reaper kings on the surface has to be a bug. There is no way they intended for the player or even a couple players with tames to deal with 10+ reapers at once

It's not the "crab AI" that's screwed up, it's all animal pathing, they changed it in ASA so that dinos will avoid structures and path around them if there's no clear path right through them, specifically to break dino traps.
It doesn't just break traps it breaks all follow ai, can't even have your dinos on follow without them running in circles or into walls. It might have been there intention to make them avoid structures but that's not what they did they compleatly broke the ai
@@stindog you can abuse this when you fortify your base... If you make your main entrance into a funnel with just a few tiiiiiinnnnnyyyy survivor size gaps Dinos avoid your base extra hard

If you follow the river mid green zone that goes to the waterfall overseeing blue zone - there spawns like 1000 trilobites and VERY easy oil/black pearls/ silica pearls farm :)
The visuals on this map make me want to buy ASA, Aberration is after all my all time favorite map and seeing it in such quality is mmm Just too bad that over a year after launch they havent fixed most of the critical issues including bodies/dinos phasing through the ground, pathing (dinos now avoid all structures to prevent tame traps, but this broke them as they just dont chase you around a base anymore), drop quality odds etc etc. Also i know Aberrant Raptor Pounce was HATED, but instead of removing it Wild Card should have added a way to "break free" or even resist pounces, and especially to parry the pounce which would stun the raptor instead of you, and obviously a cooldown on the pounce and no pouncing out of dino saddles.
There now is a much easier way to get the forbidden crabs look for the parent 17:15 like that 35 and just kill it and get the baby. No need for a trap.
Ok, I just got to the last 10 minutes and see your Rock Drake looks like something Bowie would ride out on to duet with Alice Cooper. That's what I was talking about. Nevermind.....
When that happens with ur dinos, whistle them to move on the ground near you. If they aren't responding to whistles double check ur not on a whistle group by accident. But yeah telling them to Move There would of fixed their buggy standing around
I checked my whistles and everything is solid. I joined my other world and loaded into a boss fight and they all listened just fine. Not sure what happened there
@@isyzen you just had to walk around to get within 100 meters and use the shovel it would dig it up😃it is what it is. It was still a great play through, I loved it.
guess im a bit late, but next time not only these ascended shotgun would be a good thing. basilisk for shooting, the do a huuge damage have a good health level. but maybe with their spit they made also to the other players/dinos damage.
