Yes, yes, yes, yes - we want to see the roof fixed on Lance. We want to see the bed work on the Winnie, we want to see EVERYTHING!! Love the videos and gives us something to enjoy Together. We’re old and retired so yes we enjoy getting and fixing things up but we love the details not the once over. More videos please. Thank you so much! 😊
Great find Dustin! That’s a nice ol’ square body. LQ swap? Heck yeah. I didn’t know that the LQ was such a hot running engine from the factory. And yes to seeing more on the roof replacement on the Lance please 🙂 Also looking forward to seeing what you do to upgrade the Winnebago. Thank you and God bless you and your family.
I remember the snow drifts from last year . I really hope you don’t have the same this year as that was honestly mad . As a British fan the Chevy looks great . Don’t have such trucks here really and the Cadillac looks like it’s had a serious rough life . Great stuff👍
These Trucks are timeless Classics of a Bygone Era Of Automotive Excellence in America I have a 94 Silverado Extended Cab With a lund Visor and The ARE Bed Rail and Rim Package i Love the Truck!
That’s a nice truck. When I was in my 20’s used 1/2 ton trucks were about $200. Considering the cost of living increase in 40 plus years $3000 is about right. At 18 years old my first car was a 62 Chevy Nova for $100. Tuned and it ran for years with no problems.
I don't even go out when its that cold, anymore. Brrrrrrrrr !!!! Good you finally got that barn to take the wind off while you're working. I started watching before you dug that Camaro out of the weeds in the dude's backyard. Always interesting stuff.
Nice buy! Worth the $3k. They make those retro bright lights just for this truck. JH Deisel just put some on his truck in a recent video. A must buy for sure.
Not sure how they do it in Colorado but in Michigan we can have our insurance company do a surety bond takes about Week then we can get a title for the vehicle
Yeah I’m keen for the Winnebago swap too - you owe it to us (joke) after promising it to us a few years back ;) It’d be good to see it go in anything . Am keen to see some more mechanical projects on this channel rather than just buying and selling on - just saying as you asked , but understand you need to make money . .
Nice find! As for the Lance, by all means film the roof work. I've got a 36' Class A that needs a similar repair. I need all the questionable advice I can get.
I would like to see how you make it all work in the C10, or maybe the International. That's a nice truck for $3,000. I bet there's enough parts on that Escalade to recoup a lot of your money, if you find the right buyers.
I'd definitely do the engine swap with the Escalade as the C10 isn't a rare truck, so you would gain value by doung the engine swap, and besides that, it would be one very cool and Fast truck‼️
You better hope its a long winter you have a lot of work ahead of you lol. But yea wack that big engine in the chevy pickup and fix the rust and flip it.
Lol I work for Copart here in the UK and yes there's a high turnover of cars for sure. Shame we don't get the awesome US cars especially C10s. Great video fude
I would try to find an old truck and body swap in on to the Escalade chassis. That C-10 is great like it is or get a Holley Sniper(or a cheaper brand) if you want fuel injection.
Do you smog in your county? I'd be pulling all that shit off and just run a small Holley or an AFB. GOOD BUY!!! You can rebuild every single item on that truck via Classic Industries and LMC Truck. Ya I would most def use that engine in CharlieOneZero. Hell, you can even use the transmission with an adapter on the back. Give Charlie an overdrive.
I was in Denver a couple weeks ago and it was around 60F. The weather sure cooled off. You definitely scored with the 83 C10. Pretty strange how it went through a salvage auction. I would keep the original 5.0L V8 as is if it's original to the truck. It has more collector value than an LS swap.
Jeepers those fees are crazy for a $500.00 purchase price. I would keep the C10 OEM if it is a good motor, good classic truck. Save the Escalade LS for something else.
Sooooooo That was THE COOLEST OFF LOAD EVER !!! Hahahahahaha hold my beer n watch this ship !!!! Hahahahaha like. The bow tie !! They make a tool for those screws . N yes we want to watch you work ;) on the roof ;) for those whom are thinking of taking on that kinda task . Pros n cons of it .
I am sorry, but it's gotta be said. I grew up in Salida, CO, up in thr mountains. Have had family living in Byers, CO. With CO weather, WHY waste money on a 2-wheel drive? 4x4 is so much more useful, and better resale value. But that's just ONE little opinion.
CoPart is a scam, the fees are ridiculous, and they destroy vehicles in the yard. They lie about run and drives, and I once bought a inexpensive car that had a vin swap. Getting them to respond, let alone do anything about the possibly stolen car they sold me, was comical. The car left on one of their tow trucks, missing a lot of parts, as that was more than fair on what they put me thru. CoPart gives you a reason why they were totaled, so I am not sure why you didn’t note that before purchasing. Carb swapping an LS is straight up foolishness. If you want a carbed v8, stick with a 350 or the like. It cost more to buy the carb, intake, and you still don’t have a distributor and have to purchase a harness/system to run it.
If you tear up that Winnebago with an LS swap, I'm not going to like you anymore. You have a useless 305 and a useless Escalade body. Discard THOSE and combine what is left.
I'd put the 6.0 in the winnebago, leave the chevy stock and just get it running right. Fix the couple rust spots and sell and make a few bucks.
Hopefully Lind has video of tearing into the roof on the Lance, I want to see that job from start to finish!
Great find Dustin! That’s a nice ol’ square body. LQ swap? Heck yeah. I didn’t know that the LQ was such a hot running engine from the factory. Nice truck🎉 And lets do the roof of the camper🎉
These Trucks are timeless Classics of a Bygone Era Of Automotive Excellence in America
I have a 94 Silverado Extended Cab With a lund Visor and The ARE Bed Rail and Rim Package i Love the Truck!
Almost missed this, but I was awake after midnight when the notification showed up! Body looks better than my '07 F-150.
Great channel, just found ya the other day 😁. Love that C10… great find. I like them all original but I bet it would be a lot of fun with that 6.0
I for one am always excited for your entertaining videos
of course we want to see the camper repairs
I can, you deserve it. I like to watch Derek on VGG... And he loves these square bodies! They are lovely motors.

Thanks for another great video. God bless and have a good week.
Yes, let us se the camper roof fix
Yes I would love to see the roof rebuild
👈 loved the launch off the trailer😂
yes on the roof repair! i wanna see!
I don't even go out when its that cold, anymore. Brrrrrrrrr !!!! Good you finally got that barn to take the wind off while you're working. I started watching before you dug that Camaro out of the weeds in the dude's backyard. Always interesting stuff.
Nice truck and try that cassette deck that's awesome 😅
Nice buy! Worth the $3k. They make those retro bright lights just for this truck. JH Deisel just put some on his truck in a recent video. A must buy for sure.
I would keep the stock motor in the truck and fix the LS up for a future project.
Definitely do the engine swap on that lovely C10, keep the ECU but stand alone.
The engine swap sounds good.
Nice truck. Looks pretty good
Thank you for sharing. Love your videos.

You'll get it done, my friend!! Let's GO!!
Would like to see a rubber roof install.
Swap the powertrain into the Winnebago!!!! Would be badass!!!
Lol I work for Copart here in the UK and yes there's a high turnover of cars for sure. Shame we don't get the awesome US cars especially C10s. Great video fude
If the motor is worn out in the C10 then yes power swap it. If not then hold onto the power train until you find exactly what you want to use it in.
I would try to find an old truck and body swap in on to the Escalade chassis. That C-10 is great like it is or get a Holley Sniper(or a cheaper brand) if you want fuel injection.
What series of jump starter do you use. Seemed to work well. Been looking for a good one from that company
You should go ahead and do the swap seeing that you don't have too many projects for the winter
Love to know how to easily swop an ls into a c/k10. Been considering that myself if I found the right vehicle.
I used to have an 84 with a 305. Could never make that run. Changed it to a 350 and it was a good truck after that.
Do you smog in your county? I'd be pulling all that shit off and just run a small Holley or an AFB.
GOOD BUY!!! You can rebuild every single item on that truck via Classic Industries and LMC Truck.

The truck will smell like a Perkins Restaurant.😂LOL
The 83 is good stock. Fix the rust. Make a thrasher out of the exitlade!

Sometimes Peddle and similar buy unwanted or dead vehicles and send them through Copart
efi 6ltr and a modern auto in the old truck will be a nice sleeper and low maintenance, with aircon perfect!
Definitely agree with the other posters to keep the truck stock and instead use the 6.0 plus tranny in an older RV where it would do more good.
Is caddy a all wheel drive. If so find a old 67-72 Chevy truck and drop cab onto caddy frame
Oh yeah fuh sure see how roof is re-done on the rv wld be awesome
Jeepers those fees are crazy for a $500.00 purchase price. I would keep the C10 OEM if it is a good motor, good classic truck. Save the Escalade LS for something else.

Will the LS from the Escalade fit in the Winnebago? I know the big block from the Winnebago will fit in the C10..........
Nice!
-22°C ?
LQ9 is a great engine. None of that pure crap cylinder deactivation that always goes bad. That Caddy should also have AWD
The problem with the Escalade is the engine was probably maintained just as well as the interior.
She is straight and sweet
Sometimes when they sit a while they will puke trans fluid out of the vent.
Save the 6 l for another vehicle you have a good engine in the c10.
Winnebago with an Lq9 would be sweet
Why is a 40-year-old pickup truck at an insurance lot? I'm thinking there's no way anyone had full coverage on that
👍👍
I’d do it. It will well worth it
I think good deal
Ls swap your favorite underpowered motorhome.
LS swap one of the RV
i would gladly take that cassette radio off your hands if you ever get rid of it. i’m look for a stock radio for my 76 suburban
The switch is bad that switches it from radio to cassette you can still hear the FM hiss with the tape in probably just stuck
@ wouldn’t bother me .
I can believe it. And I call BS
I'd give u 3000for chevy truck u did ok
Put the motor in the truck. It's worth more than that escalade. Pex
W🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩W
Don’t motor swap that c10. All it needs is a tuneup. It’s stock with ac and everything works. Save that Escalade motor for something else
Keep the truck original
I'd fix up the c1o take the other engine swap into another project
As a retired Chevy tech , quadrajets suck
you paid $900 in taxes and fees for a $500 vehicle???
You take that into account when bidding. At least you should. You know the fees ahead of time.
CoPart is a scam, the fees are ridiculous, and they destroy vehicles in the yard. They lie about run and drives, and I once bought a inexpensive car that had a vin swap. Getting them to respond, let alone do anything about the possibly stolen car they sold me, was comical.

Sawp it
Brrrr
swap it!
The escalade will have a bad trans. Trust me..
