Is Shadow More Powerful Than Sonic? Lets compare Shadow’s Powers in Sonic 3 vs. the Games: Shadow’s got a ton of abilities, including super speed and strength, and can use the Chaos Emeralds to transform into a Super form, making him as strong as Sonic. As the ultimate lifeform, he doesn’t age and is nearly impossible to kill. His signature move is Chaos Control, letting him mess with time and space using Chaos energy. He can also fire Chaos Spears and unleash a Chaos Blast. In Sonic 3, Shadow uses these powers to battle Team Sonic and he’s also equipped with Air Shoes for flying or hovering. While he hasn’t been shown using guns, he does ride his Dark Rider motorcycle and sports Limiter Rings on his wrists and ankles to control his power. Even with all these abilities, Shadow isn’t definitively stronger than Sonic-fights between them are always close. Sonic has generally come out on top in their battles, but it’s often been a tight contest, with Shadow’s only victory being in a non-canon fight from Shadow the Hedgehog.
