I'm returning my unit. It has a weird staticy noise issue that's present in parking mode live view and recorded Videos. What's weird is that it only seems to happen during daylight time and doesn't really occur at night. The box unit gets rather hot in my opinion too. Luckily I bought it on Amazon because I can do a no hassle return.
I found a setting in the microphone that was raising the gain anytime I wasn't talking. Basically created an audio file constantly going up and down in volume a lot. I am far from a professional videographer. 😅Thanks for watching.
I am a little bit disappointed by this dashcam. I own a car with almost vertical windshield and the front camera's lens bangs into the glass. The only way to move the lens a bit further of the windshield is to rotate the camera to lower the lens (point it more on a car's hood)... however this is also a bad idea, since - if you do that - the hood will cover like 50% of the image / frame. BlackVue isn't the cheapest option, so the fact that they haven't designed this well is really annoying. Issue number 2 mentioned in the video: night footage quality. It isn't that good either (for a camera in such price range).
Triple channel dash cams a relatively new so it doesn't surprise me that black use isn't the greatest yet. They often focus on the cloud features while their video quality usually isn't the best in the industry.
Correct, you do not need the power magic battery. For most people who drive 30-45 minutes a day, the hardwiring kit that comes with it should be fine. I consider the battery more for unique cases where a user might not be able to let their starter battery drain.
I just had this system professionally installed. To my dismay the audio has a loud static noise when viewing remotely and also when viewing saved video files. Has anyone else experienced this and perhaps know a fix?
Can you upload some clips? I have seen the asako DL12 and the rear camera in other TH-cam reviews looks very dark like any other rear camera at night with no street lights. Besides cameras that use interior infrared cameras, I am unaware of any consumer dash camera that has any sort of true night vision for the rear backwards facing camera. The infrared light would reflect off the glass. Night vision also doesn't look like daylight it's typically either black and white or greenish.
It is the gopro "casey". the one in the video has been replaced by a new version that looks slightly different but basically the same thing. amzn.to/446otYY
Can someone PLEASE do a video on the noise issues with Blackvue 770x Box and 970x Box plus units? I know other people are experiencing this, but it's like everyone is hush hush about it. I posted some sample videos in a playlist. th-cam.com/play/PL3DeJi40nY5f897trtLTXioAWa2j8dpL8.html&si=Wcm-HmLkX574BYjn

Congratulations on the new channel. I hope you are able to sort out the audio issues in future videos.

Need this to complete my quadruple or quintuple setup due how small these are, it would be perfect.
how's the iOS app? is it any good? i read reviews on it, and most of them are pretty bad....
Unfortunately I have not had an iPhone in quite a few years so I'm not sure.

Wait so we can use parking mode without the magic power battery?

Yes. I'm thinking about returning mine because of this static issue. I also feel I downgraded by going from the 900x 4K to the 1080p front camera.
Rear camera is bad no night vision I have dl12 akaso which has rear night vision looks like daytime I’ll wait for next model with BV
