Those tractors are so low compression it’s no telling how many cans of ether they need. Could be 2 this night and 6 tomorrow. Been there helping. Everyone says get a better mechanic. It’s the engine that desides. All depends. lol😂 if they can get cylinder temps up enough to burn diesel then no ether is needed. But those engines think it’s mid January.

So the pro stock tractors like in this video they usually will run 8-10 passes then they will go thru the top end, head etc.. and they will usually get 50 passes out of the turbo if nothing happens, but they try to go thru them every time they run just to make sure everything is still tight and no leaks, the reason this tractor had so much trouble is because they did not warm up the tractor before bringing it up, they pull 3 so hard to get them all warm, hope i answered your question, sorry nobody had yet👍 turbos are $20,000 plus fuel injection pump about $15-$20,000 ( mechanical only ) that’s insane I say but I get it, and the head is usually $20,000 plus by time it’s done.
