Aquascaping tutorial - AMAZING High-tech NANO JUNGLE tank

  • Here is my new high-tech nano jungle scape, inspired by jungle ravines that I always wanted to recreate in an aquarium. Given the density of plants required for this setup, I decided to use CO2 with and additional fertilisers. CO2 is injected via CO2Art PRO-SE Dual Stage Regulator with solenoid via CO2Art inline diffuser. It is turned on 2 hours before lights and it turns off 1 hour before the lights go off. I am dosing 2ml of fertilisers 1x week after water change. This may change in the future according to plants needs.

    May I ask why you are using a Eheim classic 250L for this tank? I am still relative new to the hobby so I'm just trying to learn. This tank setup is similar to what i'm doing now myself, a 30L planted nano tank

    • @TheCreativeScaper
      @TheCreativeScaper  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Eheim classic is very reliable, easy to use, quiet, and reasonably priced as a full kit. It is also very suitable for this tank ensuring that the filter can handle at least 10 times volume of the tank. I always prefer higher filter power to minimise algae issues and dead spots in the tank. Hope it helps my fiend! 😉

    Nice work ! Love the overall look of the scape ! I have a question. On the left top you use some Palma leaves (Chamaedorea elegans). I have same plant at my home outside of aquarium, and I would be happy to know, if I can plant that into the aquarium aswel. Can you tell me how it can be done ? Can I just cut leaves and put them into the aquarium or do I need to do some preparation before ? Will the leafes root inside of an aquarium ? Thanks a lot for comment and good luck with future videos ;-)

      Thank you Matous, I glad you like the video. 🙏 The plant would no survive if fully submersed but should do ok if only roots kept underwater, don't cut any leaves.

    That looks damn cool! Maybe a dark background cover could provide some more depth though...

    thanks for this amazing video! whenever I see aquascape tank I wonder where's a heater?
    Is it hided inside of the tank or put outside of it?
    I want to put a heater outside of my tank for better view, but have no clue

    Great tank, gives me ideas.
    I just got a 5gal Fluval Spec 5. going with driftwood, using the Fluval substrate. not sure the plants yet. nor the fish. Obviously not as many as the tank is half the size. just a small nano for my bedroom, just remodeled in an asian color scheme, so a couple of red cheery shrimp, maybe a veil tail betta and a couple of small little schoolers.
    But excellent job.

    What about the superglue toxins to the plant and animal life within? How it made specific for aquariums like silicon glues?

    Thank you for this inspiration. My mum ask me to copy this exact scape. I will put a sticker of your youtube name on the tank once done so my friend and guest know you 😂
