They do the same thing to the Eagles every year. It's always they aren't blowing teams out or they haven't played anyone. They went to a Superbowl with the exact same narrative. 🤦♂️🙄
One team is trying to 3-peat, the other is not. Why is that so difficult to understand? You dont get the same the same benefit, they dont talk about your team the same way, because you are not the Chiefs.
Kicker left 7 points on the field, in a game where the commanders scored 8 points with less than 30 seconds left in garbage time. This game could’ve easily been 33-10 in a division game that the eagles only looked okay at best in the first half, and amazing in the 2nd half. The eagles are constantly held to different standards than the rest of the league.
Yeah if the kicker didn’t have the worst night of his career, the Eagles would’ve lead almost the entire game and it would’ve been an even bigger blowout. They were up by 16 with a minute left after missing out on 7 points ffs I don’t get how this was such a horrible win at all, especially with it being a division game, and against everyone’s darling team this year Washington. The Eagles defense gets no credit for making everyone’s favorite rookie, and even some people’s MVP pick (lol) look really lost all game.
The Eagles defense is not getting enough credit. They've played incredible over the past 5 weeks. Especially our young rookie corners who have completely shut down number one receivers
Because these people don’t watch games or want to talk football. They only want narratives, storylines, and drama. They are effing up the coverage of the sport

Same here, I like Colin more than most, but idk wtf was wrong with him here. He even looked disheveled and fucked up. He crapped on everything about the Eagles for 15 minutes for winning, then praised Washington for 5 minutes for losing. The game would’ve never been out of Philly’s control if it weren’t for THREE missed kicks. They were winning by 16 with a minute left even after missing 7 points from their kicker. This was not a bad game for the Eagles, they easily won even with their kicker having the worst night of his career.
Jared Goff throws 5 interceptions and gets praised for finding a way to win. Chiefs have to block a field goal to win but the Eagles look terrible playing a tough division rival that up into last week he had as one of his top teams. I used to like this dude but he’s such a clown now. Give the Eagles credit and stop trying to find a reason to hate!
This reaction is a joke, a short week is hard for a lot of teams, one team finished the game and it’s why they are in 1st place. If this had been KC or your overrated Chargers you be praising them up and down. Just remember you thought the eagles should sell the farm for Russel Wilson, that statement alone damages your football IQ. When they beat the Ravens maybe you will give them the proper respect they deserve.
btw, the Chargers’ 6 wins have been against the 6 worst teams in the league & they weren’t even blowouts. The only 3 good teams they’ve faced, they’ve lost to. Colin has too much Herbert glaze in his eyes to see it
No one gives a better casual take than cowherd , does this guy even watch the games? Hurts missed AJ cause he was concussed and played the rest of the game injured all while throwing for over 200 yards and getting a TD himself . I can’t wait till Hurts gets a Super Bowl ring and takes a fat dookie all over the media and their bs agenda
It looked like he was actually just throwing it away to me on that throw from the pressure in his face. If he had another beat to make the throw he would’ve hit AJ but he didn’t have time and made the safe throw. I was ok with it vs any INT’s, which he had none of again tonight, which Colin gave no credit for of course.

i’m an Eagles fan, so i’m definitely biased, but i’m not worried about Jalen Hurts. two important reasons why he didn’t play well tonight are that Philly has played 2 games in 4 days as well as Jalen taking several huge hits that I believe left him concussed. i do definitely think Jalen needs to play better going forward (aka getting rid of the ball quicker, making better decisions and taking less sacks), and i think he will. over the last 5 games (minus this game) he’s averaged over 115 rating and only had 2 turnovers. at the end of the day, he needs to play better, and he will. the O and D line are elite, the line backers and secondary are elite, all the offensive skill positions are elite, and the kicker is usually elite. if Jalen can play up to his ability, and jake elliott gets back to his usual self, the eagles can go far. between Buffalo, KC, Baltimore, Detroit, Philadelphia and SF, it is going to be an incredible playoffs this year.
I'm starting to realize that when the eagles beat any team wether they are good or bad the reactions are usually "the other team isnt that good that they beat" but the past 4 weeks everyone is saying "WOW Washington is a really dangerous team!!" 🤦🏻♂️
I love Colin but this was lazy analyst work. I know he’s now a Philly guy but he ain’t even talk about the potential concussions on QB1. Just want to see more investment in the storylines not just stats and general topics

Media will always question Hurts and this team, its not new and it will continue. I watch the media only to gage where y'all's head is at, I form my own opinions. Most of the time we don't align... but who am I. 😂
It’s ok for other teams to win ugly except the Eagles . No team Dominated the Bengals and the Commanders like the Eagles did and yet Colin still wants to discredit the Eagles . Don’t forget Baltimore and Pittsburgh nearly lost to the Commanders . Btw Baltimore should’ve lost to the Bengals twice . The Eagles went into Cincinnati and blew them out though . Colin you need to Stop man seriously !!!!
Oh Colin... " you have to be a better football team than that" Says this about the team that wins 26-18, where the opponent gets a garbage 8 points with >2mins left, and the kicker on the opposing team leaves 7 points off the board. Talk Saquon all you want but this Philly D is the best D in the league. Fight me.
I think we can say the Eagles have a "Rocky Balboa Offense" we wait on the first half, see what the defense is doing, we wait and then on the second half we are unstoppable
The entire middle segment of this video has almost nothing to do with the game itself, lol. He goes for one of his famous analogies and gets lost in the sauce. Love you, but tighten up Uncle Colin!
eagles in the 2nd half on a short week: FG, TD, TD, TD, victory formation. hurts made 2 big plays on the first TD drive with a 17yard pass to AJ then the 3&7 scramble. Jalen is a winner and has been making winning plays.
Honestly, I feel that Washington needs to sit JD5 and let him heal. His rib injury is obviously bothering him. The O line is breaking down and getting man handled. I would save face and sit him and let the vet start. JD5 is the future. I wouldn't try to hit it out of the park with him. It's November. The league has seen what he can do and have tightened defenses. Team dig in in this part of the season and make their runs to the post season. Sit the kid.
Philadelphia Stability Problem: Andy Reid runs his offense, so you have stability on that side of the ball. Reid then hires an older defensive coordinator who is not likely to be hired away. Jim Johnson, Steve Spagnuolo. Total stability on both sides of the ball. The coaching problem with Philadelphia, is that Nick Sirianni doesn't run the offense or defense. Philly had been hiring younger coordinators who if things work out get better opportunities and move on. They did something this year to stabilize the defensive side, by hiring Vic Fangio. An older coach who had his head coaching opportunity, so is unlikely coach to leave next year. But they keep hiring younger offensive coordinators that if good will leave and if bad need to be replaced. Jalen Hurts has played under a new coordinator almost every year. No stability because there is no offensive system that is a constant.
He realizes the reason the eagles had so many coordinators recently is two became head coaches. And two were misses, it happens. Vic isn’t getting a HC again so he will be with us for a while, and we will see with Kellen.
Jayden ribs are bothering him more then what he and the team are saying. You can tell by the throws. He doesn't have the zip on them. Throws are low. And he doesn't run as fast. Has little to do with how defenses are playing him.
Best Eagle win of the year so far. Half decent kicker and it's blowout against a good team. If Eagles don't solve kicking it will cost them in playoffs.
Feeling like we watched two different games after hearing your take. I do agree that the Eagles had a slow first half, and I am sure that many of our guys are dinged up at this point, but to act like this wasn't a low scoring game in the beginning due to great defensive play from both teams is where you lose me entirely. Both teams forced the other out of their comfort zone offensively where the Commanders had to rely on RBs in the passing game, and Philly had to wear down the defense until they started to get the big plays that we've seen from them all season. It was a pretty slow first half, but for division rivals that have been playing well all season that was what I was expecting. In terms of Sirianni affecting the game, the only play call that felt like something he would dial up was that god awful trick play in the first half. The fake tush push was well executed this time around and felt much more like something Kellen had designed. Overall, it just felt like a closely contested match between division rivals fighting for the top spot. Washington shut down Saquon as long as they could, and that had a knock-on effect to the pass game. Philly forced Daniels to target his RBs and while he found a decent amount of success doing so, the Birds defense adjusted appropriately and made Washington's job harder and harder as the game went on. Cut out the garbage time points and get Jake Elliot on any other night when he's not having a rare bad game and this one isn't even close
I don't get these takes sometimes. Scoring points isn't linear. The Eagles offense just grinds the other teams down until the 2nd half of the game. As long as the D continues to dominate they will be fine. The Eagles put up close to 450 yards of offense.
What should scare every team in the NFL is these two facts when it comes to the Eagles.. 1 this defense is really really good and they’re getting better by the week! 2 this offense still hasn’t played a good game or a full game while they’re leading the new system and they’re still 8-2 and really a wide open Barkley drop away from being 9-1!!! If the Eagles stay healthy they will win the Super Bowl this year!! And Quinyon Mitchell is by far and away the best defensive Rookie this year and it’s not even close and he will be the best CB in football by the end of the season!!
Can you make up your mind on weather you like the eagles 🦅 or not Colin. Stop flip flopping, Washington was a good team its the NFL. The defense did the job and the Eagles have been playing shitty in the first half all year… when they win we know what your take will be. 😂 🦅
I could not disagree with you more. THE STORY of this game is the PHL Defense! Terry McLaurin had ONE CATCH!!!!!! 1 for 10yds. JALEN CARTER was totally dominant. He single handedly BLEW UP three WSH drives!
He missed 1 throw… it’s a short week and you over here over criticizing Jalen hurts . Did he have a turnover ? Did he play better than Jaden Daniel’s? Give them that same criticism. We missed 3 kicks ! We were moving the ball. You people have all the experience but don’t know what the hell your talking about @Colin Cowherd
Philly has had new coordinators for the past three years because their coordinators got poached in 2022, after they WENT TO THE SUPER BOWL!! Why do people keep bringing this up like they can’t keep coaches around? I’ve heard this brought up multiple times over the past month or two. But nobody calls out the fact that the move to quickly move on from last year’s staff has been proven to be extremely smart! Meanwhile, these same analysts are bitching and complaining at teams like Chicago and Dallas for not making changes! So no matter what teams do, these guys sitting behind a desk (who aren’t on the field or in the locker room every day) are WAITING to criticize every decision they make. 🤦🏻♂️
"Everybody overreacts to everything" Didnt you want Nick Sirianni fired after 4 weeks when they were 2-2? Also remember in 2022 when everyone criticized the eagles for only scoring in the 2nd quarter. Y'know the year they went to the superbowl
Once he starts lying he starts saying “you know” a lot. This is the second video I noticed. It wasn’t until he got to a point when he’s lying that he starts saying “you know” a lot.
IN GAME ONE CALEB TRIED TO DO HIS MAHOMES STYLE SIDE ARM THROW IT GOT BATTED DOWN AND SEEMS LIKE THEY TOLD HIM DONT DO THAT AGAIN CAUSE HE NEVER THROWS SIDE ARM SINCE HIS FIRST EARLY PASSES.
10:57 - the Eagles aren't "making constant coaching changes" for the hell of it... you mentioned coordinators, BOTH of their coordinators were hired as head coaches after the 2022 season. 2023 was a step back with Brian Johnson as OC and the defense was so much of a disaster that Sean Desai got fired midseason and somehow Matt Patricia was even more of a dumpster fire. The Eagles recognized it and course corrected. They made good hires in Kellen Moore and Vic Fangio, but you're the kind of guy that's going to use the fact that Kellen Moore will get a HC job somewhere in the league next year or the year after as an example of "organizational instability". As far as the head coach, look, Andy Reid was the Eagles HC for 14 seasons, but it had run its course, it was like a marriage that both parties still love each other but recognize that they can't stay together anymore and need to go their separate ways in order to grow. Chip Kelly wore out his welcome in Philly and like you said, he's not an NFL head coach and belongs in college. Doug Pederson won us a Super Bowl but ultimately there was a power struggle that he lost, and it's not like he's taking the league by storm in Jacksonville. Regardless of what you or I think about Nick Sirianni, his players buy in, listen to the way Eagles players rally around him, and then listen to how players in Dallas talk about Mike McCarthy (example: Micah Parsons)
You praise the Chiefs for finding a way to win but criticize the Eagles for beating a winning team on a short week.
Ditto ... also alleged good kicker leaves 7 points on the field.
Its partly b/c Colin has been down on WSH ever since they lost at home to a good Steelers team by 1 point
Exactly
They do the same thing to the Eagles every year. It's always they aren't blowing teams out or they haven't played anyone. They went to a Superbowl with the exact same narrative. 🤦♂️🙄

1.6 million votes? Why so specific (and wrong) currently 3 million
Oh Colin... " you have to be a better football team than that" Says this about the team that wins 26-18, where the opponent gets a garbage 8 points with >2mins left, and the kicker on the opposing team leaves 7 points off the board. Talk Saquon all you want but this Philly D is the best D in the league. Fight me.
It’s like a relationship… runs better when she steps back and let’s you do what you have to do.
How about we talk about how good the eagles defense is instead of rambling about the importance of running backs 10 minutes
Go wake up John. He’s taking too damn long to upload
Colin taking some inspiration from Trump with the weave, holy crap we hit a lot of metaphors tonight didn’t we ? Go birds !
eagles in the 2nd half on a short week: FG, TD, TD, TD, victory formation. hurts made 2 big plays on the first TD drive with a 17yard pass to AJ then the 3&7 scramble. Jalen is a winner and has been making winning plays.
The Eagles are looking like the Eagles of 2 yrs ago. Feels like Eagles and Lions in the NFC
Hmmm I think I seen this story before
@ precisely
Just go to bed, enough lying and gaslighting
Watch the Eagles BLOW THE RAMS OUTTA THE WATER NEXT WEEK IN LA
They scored on the opening drive the last Eagles game. Saquon caught a pass.
When Colin has had a few too many.
Stg every time this man talks about the eagles when they win it’s just “they have good roster, should have won better🗿”
Welcome to the Kliff Cliff. It was never Kyler and Call of Duty
Jayden ribs are bothering him more then what he and the team are saying. You can tell by the throws. He doesn't have the zip on them. Throws are low. And he doesn't run as fast. Has little to do with how defenses are playing him.
a drunk Colin is the best
Short week , both couches worked together for years, and three missed kicks and a extra point the game was not even close
barkley wasnt traded tough guy. he was signed. pretty big difference
Best Eagle win of the year so far. Half decent kicker and it's blowout against a good team. If Eagles don't solve kicking it will cost them in playoffs.
Quinyon stock got a SUPER boost last night. Completely took McLaurin out of the game.
“If these are 2 of the best teams in the NFC than the AFC is still far superior” it’s just comical the bias that most media members have
Feeling like we watched two different games after hearing your take.
"Stop Preaching". Best advice I ever received
The "media." That's YOU Cowherd!
Colin slates the Eagles so that Nick Wright doesn’t spit on him when he’s pegging him later
Giants let multiple probowler players go at least under Schoen...
"Everybody overreacts to everything"
Didnt you want Nick Sirianni fired after 4 weeks when they were 2-2?
Also remember in 2022 when everyone criticized the eagles for only scoring in the 2nd quarter. Y'know the year they went to the superbowl
Once he starts lying he starts saying “you know” a lot. This is the second video I noticed. It wasn’t until he got to a point when he’s lying that he starts saying “you know” a lot.
Love your show, but too many "sponsors". Ugh.
I pay for utube. No adds?
IN GAME ONE CALEB TRIED TO DO HIS MAHOMES STYLE SIDE ARM THROW IT GOT BATTED DOWN AND SEEMS LIKE THEY TOLD HIM DONT DO THAT AGAIN CAUSE HE NEVER THROWS SIDE ARM SINCE HIS FIRST EARLY PASSES.
Bro Colon hates on the Eagles for engagement 😂😂😂😂don't feed into this
Not the Instant Recation!
I love how he says these don’t come close to the AFC teams. 👀 commanders took the Ravens pretty close, just another way to try and hate on the Eagles
