my favorite part is how they always manage to make the arms actual pieces of the vehicle and not just like having the hands as part of the under bed of the truck. Most of the transformers you seen on shelves nowadays still have the hands is just part of the vehicle. same with the head, it always seems to be exposed if you look at the vehicle from a certain angle. Quite a beautiful wave to do justice to the original forms of these transformers, whilst making it believable in both vehicle mode and robot mode

I used to be a stickler for the original 80's toys, a purist if you will, but I gotta say these new toys do the 80's toys a lot more justice. I still hate the Michael Bay monstrosities though.
In my opinion only the first movie is worth it. However i do like the designs,Optimus prime looks fantastic,Megatron not so much. Some of these toys follow the movie designs and look awesome
