A quicker way to select multiple of the same objects in colour/stroke is to use the Magic Wand + its pop up menu.
I have this problem with my illustrations (the ones i did by myself without AI). It looks good on one background and horrible on another. Please do you know how to fix this problem?
Hmm that's too complex actually
Does tracejourney do a better job than illustrator’s Live Trace/expand tool?
Yes it does, forgot to mention it in the video. Next time will do a comparison test
@@PANTERvision nice thanks. Stinkin seed isnt working in relaxed mode ATM so I'm kinda waiting on that. Thanks for showing what you found!
@@coulterjb22 Your welcome!
The files tracejourney created started crashing my Illustrator. 4-6 tries to do the same image and I hit the paywall. I don't mind the monthly cost but don't know if I end up with the same prob.
The results were very nice tho!
Was it like a more complex illustrations with a lot of colors and layers and the resolution of the vector high?
@@PANTERvision only black and no shading. It was working fine and was impressed. After the files started crashing I shortly had a popup saying my trial was done. makes me think there was some lag in the system. It created a file for me that couldn't be opened causing a crash, maybe due to me hitting my limit. Maybe that file didn't complete entirely.
@@coulterjb22 yea prob it was a file with some errors in it
This is not the fault of tracejourney that the illustrations look bad on opposite backgrounds. You basically have to subtract the whole shape that's not looking good on one background from it's offset path of let's say 10px. Once you subtract from the offset path it will show up perfectly.
Nobody mentioned it was tracejourneys fault. If you watch the vid you gonna find out what I'm talking about. Cheers
why would you use tracejourney if you have illustrator then turn it to black and white vector and that's it! no need of tracejourney
Because Illustrator tracer is pretty bad compared to other stand alone softwares.
