If you can not get hold of the Supercharger 2 look at secondhand Super charger Ist generation. We got one each in Nov 2017 and the bikes are great. Battery life is excellent and the battery discharge over the last two winters has been very low. We got the Gates belt drive because in our part of East Lancs England ( Pendle Hill country ) we have hills and plenty of them. The Gates belt drive allows no loss of speed on the hills as well as low maintenance. One last point get Sena Helmets that have blue toothed and allow a half mile range to communicate with fellow cyclists as well as linking up with your phone
My hotel was around an hour from the trade show so I had the pleasure of riding back and forth and really enjoyed that. I spent a few days in Bavaria afterwards, going to the MAXX factory in Rosenheim and picking up one of their custom made eBikes for a video review. I hope to have that edited and uploaded soon.
much prefer the blue colour on the supercharger 1 , the additional mounting point is nice , for me the new motor looks impressive and gives it a better profile , last and very important the much improved battery covers which i hate on my bike , and one wonders if they could swop out for the hard plastic ones ?
I love the Delite as I tend to do longer rides on a variety or terrain and really appreciate the "Control Technology" or full suspension. However, the SuperCharger2 feels very agile and responsive and I enjoy riding it if I'm mostly on paved roads or hard packed gravel. The best thing to do is to try them both if you can!
