Funny, I always Fish Matagorda and never seen this stuff before. It's probably cause I get there late at night or early morning and then on my way out it's always late night lol. 20 plus years fishing Matagorda and never seen this. But I go a way down the beach away from the crowd too. Cool stuff! Keep them coming!
What days are you down there mostly. Thinking about coming down. I have recovery gear and stretch ropes. Im part of all the off-road groups. Decal on my truck is Houston area Off-Road Recovery
I'm part of Houston Area Off-Road Recovery as well. I usually pull a lot of people out, but had no camera person when i recorded this footage, so i just recorded at the entrance. I'm trying to be at the beach most weekends. Either San Luis Pass or Matagorda.
No, it would do about as good as the tacoma at the 9:20 mark. You could air down your tires and put the pedal to the floor, that might get you further than he made it. As soon as you stop moving, stop trying. You'll just dig deeper.
You can make it in 2wd. Air down to 15psi and hit it around 20mph and keep your speed. Most important thing is not to stop, so make sure there’s no traffic or no one in your way
This is a good video to test TH-cam's zoom in feature on mobile, so I can have a closer look at the cars getting stuck

That guy in the red ford at the end is prepared, got a spare engine with him at all time!
Anyone know what size tires are on that green z71
Why would people drive in the sand on the beach ⛱️? Makes zero sense to me.
This is better then Netflix
What vehicles are you seeing that are the most successful? Seems if you have 4wd, you're gonna be fine. Havent seen a new ranger on the beach yet
4wd or AWD and you’ll be fine. Make or model doesn’t matter
If you have 4wd and dont flatten down you could still end up buried to tha frame

can a 2wd fj with rear locker make it?
No
Yes, if you air down your tires.
@@TheDieselndust no
Did you make it?
It’s always fun just to sit back and laugh at people who think it’s a good idea to drive through soft sand in 2wd.
I would not buy a full size 2wd truck.
Chick at 5:02 was fine af
