The fact that Mark constantly asked for money basically means he is NOT a good planner nor business owner. His family should not have encouraged him. I doubt that, even if he was given lessons, it won't stick. He should have gone for something different. Running a business is not as easy as you think.
Wow, just wow! The MIL wants Gemma to cook at her place, then take food to Mark? Sorry, not buying it. At 40, single, and living alone, I was able to handle all daily living necessaties, including cooking. The size of the kitchen has nothing to do with cooking abilities. It's called adapting to your circumstances.
Ex. I had a very small kitchen once and I love my kitchen appliances. Food processors, spiral cutter and immersion blender. All the cutlery, mixing spoons and all that sort of stuff. Add on the different types of dishes for different types of cuisines. My remedy was I bought those large wire shelving units from Costco that has wheels. One rack for all my kitchen stuff including my pots and pans. The other shelving unit was for my linens, foodstuff and on the bottom shelf all my cleaning supplies. I had those clear boxes with lids underneath them for all my power tools and pressure washer. I had a two bedroom house and I’m single. You adapt to the circumstances. I also put in an extra wardrobe for my clothes. You’d be surprised how much stuff you can still have, that you need to make your life easier and fun. Now I have a very large kitchen with deep cabinetry. Fits everything and I still have under cabinets not in use. The island is so big that I love baking more.
She was bullied into doing it, I think. The main character sounds like she's been belittled and abused by both her MIL and her husband. By extension her BIL was also abusing her.
8k$ for deposit and only 700$ for rent? Idts. Deposit is alway first and last months rent plus any pet deposits or anything like that. So at the least the deposit should have been 1.5k$ at most.
Her recording equipment must have issues; I've been listening to her voice these stories for years, I wouldn't be surprised if it was time to replace a few things.
Well the OWNER doesn't have to have permission from anybody else to put their house on the market. Mama's boys will NEVER see that they are wrong and that they are the ones that will end up all alone. Yes how can 'families' treat each other like that? why don't you and your spinless son think about what you two did to Gemma, this mama's boy just let his bossy mother move into somebody else's house without thinking he should have talked to her first.
I've lived in places where there's a small kitchen and I've made it work. Mark who is a grown adult man living on his own can make a small kitchen work, too. I've lived in apartments where I've had to buy those weird kitchen organisers to make more space for cans in the cabinets and counter tops. Especially in places where there wasn't room for a regular pantry.
It’s terrible when people take advantage of your kindness like this. I don’t think she should keep him from his child, that’s a bit too much . But I approve of her other revenges 😂
Ion’t know. Ordinarily, I’d agree but these people are so very toxic. I wouldn’t trust them with my defenseless baby, on top of which, 3 grown azz people are living in a one room apt. I could imagine them trying to take the baby away.
That baby has a right to see and know their dad. No mother should have the right to stop a dad seeing their child. Unless they have a history of abusive behaviour
The mother-in-law shouldn't be complaining when it came out of somebody else's pocket for the place. Talking about it so small and $8,000 is a lot. Where is this at? Who a down payment? It's like a second home like a mortgage penthouse or something or a condo
she didn't have anyone to tell her she's being taken advantage of by them.. her crappy husband included.. she's practically taking care of all of his dead weight family. I wouldnt give 2 damns about MIL selling her house and not having anywhere else to go.... I didn't tell her to do that.. perhaps she shouldn't assume she can just move into someone's house...
Just because you have a partner that is shitty to you doesn't mean that they are a shitty parent. Gemma's baby is as much her husband's/ex husband's baby as it is hers. Unless there's been physical abuse and Gemma's life is in danger, there's no reason not to allow her ex husband to have visitation or partial custody of his own child.
Whoever creates these stories PLEASE do your due diligence and research to make these stories more believable. For example, a $700/month apartment would NEVER have a deposit of $8,000!!! A deposit is typically equivalent to the first and last month’s rent or DOUBLE the monthly rent cost. It would NOT be almost a year’s worth of rent. Even with most contracts. I appreciate the work of the VO artists and efforts of the staff who put everything together, HOWEVER, the stories at least need better revision and, lately, more research. 🤔
You have to be careful with these cults, they pray on the vulnerable people, they look for those who have no family love and are shy etc,we have to have a teaching church and good balance, still keep your eyes open❤,
Thank the lawd they didn't register the marriage (interesting to me though, when I married you have to register before a wedding that I know of) So glad she walked out, so smart. Are y serious with the mil just showing up? Also, saying she's taking the master bedroom?!!! What a fruit loop. The only thing I would do different if I were here is I would have simply text him the house is on the market. No battle over it just a simple courtesy. Second, these momma’s boys are ridiculous. A few other things: -I would never give them more money just like she did -the only thing I would feel bad about it is he is the father. When the baby is born, I assume she wouldn't list him as the father if she isn’t going for child support. However, I would be scared he’d take her to court for visitation rights BUT I'm on the fence, that I don’t think they'd spend the money to take her to court. Part of me would feel really bad about a baby not getting to be around its father. The other part of me knows how toxic the mil is and wouldn't be a good influence potentially with the baby. Imagine in real life if they found out she had a son. I think they could cause problems. Lastly, assuming he knows where the op's mom lives, I would think they should move away from him, but with the internet he would likely be able to track her down eventually. Unless you go into witness protection, I think it is scary that probably most people could be found. Great story! Nice job to the channel creator
First of all the story just started but it's stupid when I hear the Daughter in Law calling the Mother in Law MOM your Mother is your MOM she is annoying why is she worried about the son. Let the people sort out their family she's foolish and wait until they let her pay all the expenses the husband sounds like a scammer😊
are there really families that refer to their inlaws as mom and sister etc? That seems way weird to me. Like you and your husband both calling his mom Mom? kinda ick
Never marry a mama's boy!! You will always come second. Always.
Hah Giggity
Momma boy's are the worse. I am raising two teenage son's and they sure as hell dont act like that
36:30 If everyone only had sons, who would have the babies? Zero sense.
I feel sorry for that random lady who got dragged into all this, she sounded nice.

always love when asked where are you going go. sorry your not the only people in their life. they do have family and friends too.

The MIL didn’t teach her sons to do anything for themselves.

Why is she covering the BIL's expensives? Make her Husband, MIL and FIL pay it. Ain't no way that I would waste my money on him.
She was bullied into doing it, I think. The main character sounds like she's been belittled and abused by both her MIL and her husband. By extension her BIL was also abusing her.
They're taking advantage of you. Leave them immediately. Mother n law fix him food yourself

Odd buzzing on the voices, I thought it was me for a while O_O
Oh thank god i thought i needed new ear buds
I hear it too
I didn't. Where was it? Or was it all the way through
It sounds like static!! It comes and goes, especially with Gemma’s Mom.

Making the kitchen work isn’t the problem, making mark work, however…
WHAT THE HELL?!? $8,000 for a deposit? Holy crap. I know rent prices are out of control but DAMN!!
probably in yen
@barbarajoyce6424 idk that's only 51 dollars American that's too low for a a deposit
@@StoopidMonkeysMommanah its a scam, its out of proportion to the rent. Rent is 700 and deposit is 8,000? Makes no sense.
Not your ex-husband. Boyfriend. Roommate. Yes. Husband? No.
Is she kidding ? That’s not her house. What is wrong with these people lacking all boundaries

Mark could have got a job at McDonald's in a day. Now, he's been lazy for all this time?
Ahhh, the Cult of Mom.
I feel bad for the husband. He’s been brainwashed all his life that his brother could do no wrong.

Being a mummy's boy doesn't make him a bad father
Why is there static in the audio with the voices?
I thought it was just me!
Oh thank goodness I thought I was the only one
I thought my ear buds were having issues.
Put it on 2x speed it makes it harder to notice
I thought my headphones were finally dying, i can hardly focus with the constant static

Why tf would mom get the master bdrm? Plus , omfg are you kidding? what is wrong with these ppl.
Absolutely not! I'd be single so fast 😂
Sound is a bit off

Can't listen
Weird I did not have this issue. But I rushed the story as it was not really interesting.
Bruh

Can you fix the audio next time? It makes my eyes water. “SEEING as he’s still asking for money.” Not seen.
Ridiculous number of ads🙄
I think the 15 dollars a month is worth not having ads❤😊
