i visited Malawi for some meetings with another evangelist some years after Reinhard Bonnke was there and we who was there were told that the results of what happened there was very few. No lasting evidence. Wonder wy ! ?
5000 men (not including women and children) were fed with only a few loaves of bread and fish, crowds gathered to receive His healing, and the masses listened to His teachings. Despite this, when Pilate asked the masses who they wanted released they still chose Barnabas the thief over Jesus (not without the prompting of the pharisees and sadducees mind you, evil exists in spheres of influence and the Word speaks about this quite a bit). This is not to say that Jesus's impact wasn't immense. What were you expecting to see? People will still look like people, places will still look like places, and the world will continue being worldly. But people saved are people saved regardless of how many and heaing a nation takes more than a single event because sin is habitual for many and as a result often seems more attractive than following God, and because, as said before evil often exists in spheres of influence. All we can hope is that it planted seeds of Faith within a few people who could then continue to seek out Him in their own time and could continue spreading the good Word
