It's a day we acknowledge at CfaN as Founder’s Day, where we honor and celebrate Reinhard & Anni Bonnke for their sacrifice, perseverance, and commitment to the work of evangelism throughout the world. I'm greatly impacted by the life of this great General, Reinherd Bonnke. A living epistle of what God can do through one man that dares to believe and obey Him.

Conference and a crusade. He signed his book for me. He was very friendly and

since my dear brother Randy had just died after a long struggle with glioblastoma brain cancer

I really miss Reinhard Bonnkey and family and team as they were in India, Pune were Jesus gave me an opportunity to work for them. Thought he was such a great man still he never stopped me but allowed me to handle the whole program. I just can't forget anything and feel the loss of him. May his soul rest in peace. Back in the day I saw Bonnke preach handfuls of times-but never met him in the flesh- I’m sad so. But at that time, I got to meet Daniel Kolenda!! I was star struck. Because the day my dad stopped being an evangelist and fell, was the day Evangelists became my heroes and ideal figures to look to for guidance. So I had lots of heroes. But that day I saw Daniel, that. was. it. I also saw him from a distance and I admired him like beyond all the preachers I ever saw. And he changed how I prayed and what I prayed for. Daniel says familiarity breeds contempt but he experienced the opposite. But I think that about Daniel. I don’t know him know him, but I got to be in his school and have him as my pastor, and he’s only better and more cool and funny and awesome and normal because he has real life and experienced a lot of difficulties which makes him more relatable to me, because I mean life just isn’t perfect and people have all their sides that are human. But the fact that he keeps going no matter how he feels, and even was preaching the night Bonnke went to Heaven and perseveres from then to now, he is real and I think a champ afterall. you can just see his love for God and people in his eyes and sometimes he cries, and I can’t believe God allowed me to be here, with my favorite preacher. People have prophesied my whole life that I will be like Billy Graham, and I could accept that. But if you told me Daniel would be my leader, and be training me, and maybe one day I can be like him, I honestly don’t see how so, but I am so honored. No one should ever hold him or people like him in contempt-just for the sheer fact alone that he has dedicated his life to the Gospel and the salvation of souls. That alone takes so much sacrifice and such great love for God and people who mostly you will never see again.

I had a great uncle bac in the 1950 s who were missionaries to Nigeria. I met a young man here in sd from Nigeria who knew of where my uncle had been. One day he was on the phone to pastor friend in Nigeria and I was able to visit with the pastor . Praise our Father for the word of God.
