@@willem9450 I remember everyone complaining as well, but looking back I personally was having a great time during Legion. That is when I created almost all of my alts and really started caring about end game systems.

Goldmine for lore especially. So many winks and nudges within the environmental design that gives a good head scratch when looking at The Worldsoul Saga.
Gul Dan in legions pre released audio books also talks about a power deep in the well he couldn’t reach when activating the portal for the legion invasion.

Illidan's plan to obtain the Eye of Sargaras was not thwarted - he got it. Albeit, he was contested to get it.

Sargeras is a Titan. Even if he is basically using Chaos to "Order" the universe he is still at his core a being of Order. Given the more we learn the more we understand that the Titans aren't exactly good guys we can conclude that even though he is using a different means than the other Titans we can assume his end goal is the same.

Eonic could also refer to eon, the biggest (geological) time unit, meaning it's ancient.
I mean Enoar is probably called that becausue of Eons so.
I'm picturing a start of the expansion scenario where we fight void creatures down into the depths of the tomb of Sageras. The water in the naga area is all gone, sunk into a new chasm where we discover Azj-kahet or something.

The old gods were fighting over K'tanth before the Titans came to Azeroth. The roots of Elunahir have nothing to do with this.
Also the same book say that Elune'ahir is actually Ungoro crater

It would kind of funny if the trolls help Khadgar become the Loa of Books in efforts to get him out of their hair.
It would seem trolls are not special at all in that regard. Evil Cosmic Team Life made several groups that can absorb and mimic any kind of magic.... including the Shu'halo to Tauren; and Trolls to Elves; and Protodrakes to Dragons. That ability to absorb and copy any source of magic may just be the Modus Operandi of how evil cosmic team Life works.

It'd be super cool if in the next expansion we find ourselves an alternative route into what ever is below the Tomb of Sargeras. Like this is Xal'atath's way of getting access without dealing with the titanic artifacts.
Suramar was destroyed in the War of the Ancients, per the books. They changed that for legion. Just like the Warbringer Azshara video, the capital was actually in ruins. There were no citizens left, only the Highborne that didn't abandon the plan, so it looking all pristine was false as well.
Even back in W3 when you go several times with different characters to Suramar they all point out the place was destroyed during the Sundering but yep, here we are lol

I thought Eonic Defenders were in reference to the word "eon." So a defender of time, or an old defender. Depends on your interpretation.
I know the Temple is of Elune, but could it also have been influenced my Aman'Thul, the titan associated with time. Hence "Eonic."
Edit: Could also be Eonar, tbf.
Eonar is named Eonar because of the word Eon. Same as Elune is named because of the word Lune and/or Lunar and/or Luna.
Hell of a great vid, I loved tomb of sargeras as a raid, art environment and lore.
Uunat, which we fought in BFA, had the label of Harbinger of the Void. Dunno if that means anything, but thought of it today.
I'm pretty sure that is the Eye of Aman'thul in the bottom of the Tomb of Sargeras. I believe it was used so we could follow Kil'jaeden.

Elune'Ahir was planted after the fall of the black empire, so most likely that's not what the old gods were fighting over, especially given that one of the players in that battle was Y'shaarj who at that point has just recently been ripped out of the planet. They seem to have had a name for this place way before any titans being aware of Azeroth.
I want to rewatch the Wc2 cutscene of Gul'dan opening the tomb. It was so fucking awesome back then. I created like dozens of custom maps inspired by that part of the story.
THATS the game they need to remaster…
I like putting lore together, like in Lord of the Rings, as a pass-time.
However, I feel it's a waste of time when writers can retcon on a whim.

At the end of the Tyr questline they did mention the old world zones that were being revisited for the Worldsoul Saga and included the Broken Shore.

Companion artifacts and the various npcs throughout the world referencing your weapons were all dope as hell.
Aluneth was the arcane mage voiced weapon, not demonology warlock.

@BellularGaming Not sure if you all made this connection in a video or not and if you did, I'm dumb😅. You've talked about how the sword stabbed near the heart of Azeroth in Silithis. The other day I thought about Silithus's neighbor though, Ungoro "CRATER". Craters are generally formed by Meteors. Isn't it peculiar how there is a Crater near the Heart of Azeroth, just the same as where the sword stabbed? Was the Heart of Azeroth infected a long time ago when a "meteor" crashed and created Ungoro Crater? Idk just a thought

Why couldn't both happen? Surely it is no coincidence that there is a Nightwell at Suramar and a Sunwell at Quel'thalas..... in an expansion about a confrontation between Light and Void?

I wonder.. if the story of Y'shaarj and Elun'ahir are related. Both are instances where the old gods attempted to remove things not of Order from Azeroth and failed, in some fashion. There are parallels to be considered.
So hopeful for an “invasion” event and the world covered in darkness or something wild. Just super pumped to see what they will unveil!

This trend of going top ever more powerful entities, or deeper down wells, reminds me of Dragon Ball Z, and how ridiculous it has become with its power levels being a meme at this point. Not to mention how it all ends up with us hitting the toes of some giant or smacking the mustaches off of a mutated prawn/eye/whatever I hope we get more down-to-earth stories in the future - if they can still make them. Nothing beats the horror of a place like Stratholme, the tragedy inside its walls; or the atmosphere of Deamines and Shadowfang Keep. Things have become too big to care anymore in WarCraft. And the solution usually is some kind of boring MacGuffin that has to be found/assembled/charged/etc.. It's just uninteresting without the human core.

Starting to think why Blizzard has failed to create the Black Empire, and all we got was a stupid vision of N'zoth in the raid. The Black Empire was so great looking, that no one knew exactly how to do it. Perhaps we will encounter something close to it in The War Within.
K'tanth came just after K'nineth, but has not yet been succeeded by K'leventh

Not sure what you mean by born.... Azeroth was already awake many thousands of years before humans ever existed on the planet. She was born long long long long long long ago.
But could she be a Titan of Wisdom to copy the mythology of Sophia from gnosticism (which is the reason why all the enchants that use order in dragonflight are named Sophic) .....? Sure, that would make sense. But she would be wisdom because she is not part of any equal and opposite pair of forces.

Nah, Salad V is gonna use his New Zanuka Thrall hybrid to overthrow the Alliance, and to counter this the Anduin will go to the gnomes for help at which point the gnomes will show off their Kodo K-Drives and bullet jump into Salad V's Thrall Zanuka hybrid amalgam and explode, finishing the World of Warframe universe for good.

What happened to the "Ancient Trolls" we were told we would see in dragonflight?
I've thought about that too & I wonder if they weren't changed to the Djaradin during production. In the book (which does also contain Djaradin), trolls settle in the waking shores where Djaradin are now.
Some of this theory relies on the Eonic Defenders being a reference to Eonar and not simply an Eon.
Eonar herself is based upon the word eon..... so you may be sharing a difference without a distinction. Sorry.

An eon is one billion years; or two eras if you prefer geology instead of astronomy....except eras in geologic time are not all of uniform quantity....so astronomy is preferred. Especially for Titans and cosmic force teams. Eon also comes from "aeon" which was a greek word in Gnosticism representing a series of godlike beings who existed in pairs and not a unit of measure. With the exception of Sophia the aeon that came into existence without any matching pair....and ended up as the Aeon of Wisdom, or Goddess of Wisdom, etc. Which, incidentally, is why all the enchants in dragonflight which use elemental order in them are named "Sophic yada yada" .....after Sophia. Sophic and Eonic are spelled those ways because of the way koine greek grammar worked. The eonic defenders are defenders created by or serving Eonar. The end.

I would also say that it seems like you are using real world references and applying them to WoW, which while Blizzard definitely based large portions of the lore on that they also mixed and matched various things.
My only original point still stands, the theory put forth relies on the assumption that Eonic Defender is a reference to Eonar and not simply referencing a timeless defender.

I always get excited with your lore videos even if i havent played retail wow since the start of shadowlands. Then I remember wow's story hasnt been good for awhile. And then i get apathetic towards wow and get more excited for private servers that want to make their own lore and world. Or make a better classic+ than blizzard.
I wonder why one of the other talking weapons in legion ever got more story line the mage one spoke a lot also.
I think we need to keep this bit in the Night Elf text on Warcraft Wiki in mind too: "The mystics began worshiping the moon goddess Elune, who they believed slumbered within the fount's depth during daylight hours. The former trolls also discovered the name "Kalimdor" and other titan-forged words from communing with Elune and investigating strange artifacts scattered around the Well's periphery."
The part about the fount could easily also point towards whatever this K'tanth may be (where a place or creature).
