Thank you Lord for the gift of salvation to me through Christ life, death and ressurection. Thank you Father for knowing me and loving me unconditionally, help me Lord to love others as you have been loving me
This is a reminder we all need to live by everyday. We cannot brag about anything before the Lord. A humble attitude and gratefulness are the only things we can ever offer before Him with the amazing grace He has freely bestowed upon us. Thank You, Jesus! To God be all the glory!
Thank you so much for all your messages. This one though speaks to me just because of what's been happening in my life at this time. I have come to love our LORD much more than I ever have because I now realize the great love he has for all of His children. He truly is a wonderful, merciful Savior. Love you messages brother Piper.

@@mattr.1887 it is difficult to wrap our heads around it no doubt. God loves people no matter what, but I guess he doesn’t love everyone. Example, in Genesis it says He loved Jacob but hated (or rejected)Esau. The only way to understand this is to change your view of God and understand his love isn’t earthly and He also does as he pleases. It is kind of scary because I personally have never felt or experienced Gods love and I often wonder why it feels like he hasn’t changed my heart. But I trust in Him and know His love is something we cannot fully understand. His ways are far above us and his purpose isn’t to make us feel warm and cozy because we are going to heaven. His purpose is to conform us into the image of Jesus because that is what gives Him glory. And the only way to do that is to rely entirely on his grace.
@@Mr.Enigmatik God surely does love everyone in some deep sense as John 3:16 implies. But there are different kinds of love, and in another sense God doesn't love everyone. @@rocketsurgeon1746 God surely does love everyone including those who will end up in hell, as John 3:16 implies. Importantly, however, God's love for people isn't the whole picture. Partly in a kind of tension with God's love for people is his desire to be glorified, and one way in which he is glorified is by punishing some sinners. The Bible is full of God punishing sinners and also full of God showing mercy and not punishing sinners. This is perhaps the biggest biblical paradox. Just punishment is good and mercy is also good! As human beings we relate to the goodness of both these things, even though they are opposites. We can trust that God in his deep, deep wisdom knows when just punishment is appropriate and when mercy is appropriate.

Hello, even if you will find disputable translations, reassuring the isles dwelling securely in spite of their opposition to Israel, God and life itself, God has a message for you, with a better translation in context: And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the LORD. Bro, you cannot tell someone you respect them immensely and at the same time call their ministry a 'theory' that 'falls apart' as a 'spirit of error', doesn't even make sense what you are saying - and you are in effect being more than disrespectful with your comment which is irrational and cowardly (not to mention hurtful). You cannot have respect for someone who is as wrong as you describe Pastor John... If you have respect you would not leave a comment like this in the first place, or instead explain yourself (clearly) so everyone can understand what you mean, instead of making lite of a very important message and belittling Pastor Johns legitimacy as a teacher. Its not that anybody is chosen from before creation but that God predestinated salvation through Christ alone.
John Piper is right that God loves everyone but also loves some people in a way that he doesn't love others.
Sounds like unconditional love to me.

Does God love those that He creates for eternal damnation? If He did love them, wouldn't He give them a gift of faith? I'm confused
