God's wrath starts when the cosmic disturbances of Joel 2 occur "BEFORE THE DAY OF THE LORD." That occurs after the 6th seal, not a the end of the 7 years.

I believe that brother Piper did a great job laying out a great defense to the fact that there is no place in the Bible that even begins to support the erroneous doctrine of a "pre rapture" event. There is no verse to be found in all of the Bible that gives a pre-rapture timing. None. Also. Some of you have commented on all the world being saved. While JESUS died for "the sins of the world" that does not at all mean that all "the world" will be saved. Just "the elect" of GOD [Ephesians 1:4]. JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF declares this fact at least three times in Matthew 7:13-23. Note in 7:13 that JESUS states "few are those who find it. In Matthew 7:21, "not everyone who says to ME LORD LORD, will enter the kingdom of heaven: . Here JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF is declaring that not even all those who profess HIS name will be saved. Also read Matthew 7:22-23 as CHRIST one again declares that not everyone is going to be save even if they call HIM "LORD". These three verses alone should cause all of us who profess Christ as SAVIOR to reflect on where we truly stand in relationship to GOD. While the timing of the rapture is important, "knowing for sure that we have eternal life" dwelling within us is much more important. To use "the Day of the Lord" rather than what the Textus Receptus uses (Day of Christ) makes the first three verses a non sequitur.. Then he says, the apostasy and the revelation of the A/C will arrive before the Day of Christ (just before), meaning before the Rapture. He is correcting their fear they had missed the Day of Christ, or the Rapture. You are making it much more complicated that it is, requiring a lot more explanation than needed, by using Day of the Lord, rather than Day of Christ. Why would you compare all the English translations and then “assume” they are all the same day of the Lord etc. Shouldn’t you be doing a proper word study and going back to the original text (Greek) and comparing from there?

When Jesus said to the Jews, "The kingdom of God is near," or, "at hand," what He meant was that HE is the representative of God standing before them at the time. Jesus did not mean that God is going to fix all of the problems on the earth for you so you don't have to do anything. The reason all of your conclusions are wrong is because they are based in extremely primitive selfishness. You actually think that God, Jesus, and the angels are supposed to do what you want. That's not how it works.
This is an interesting take as I learn & study the Bible. It definitely made me think. @@heredeemedme7013 My father used to tell me that God was going to kill everyone who was not a Jehovah's Witness and that we were going to have to go around and bury all the bodies and that it would take us years. Then I grew up and read the bible myself and realized that it doesn't say that. It says the meek shall inherit the earth. It doesn't say that God will kill people nor does it say that it will happen anytime soon. My dad was afraid of dying so he wanted Armagedon to come during his lifetime. He died in 2005. He was very bitter that God did not do what he wanted. The truth is that in about 1,000 or more years humans will evolve into meek and gentle beings. God is not going to fix things for you. We have to do it. I could explain all of it to you, the truth about God, Jesus, angels, the bible, and the universe, but you would reject it because for you to believe anything I say you have to accept one thing, and that is that it's not about you but that is unacceptable to humans. You read the bible and you think that we are the most important thing to God. You think God did it all for us and that God does everything for us. The real truth is that God doesn't even know your name or that the earth even exists. If you really want to know I will tell you the truth but you won't like it because the truth is that it's not about you. It never was. It never will be.
This channel has some good content but misses the main message of the gospels... That our Lord is the Saviour of the World...the World. That means everybody ALL. Do you confess with your mouth and believe in your heart the Jesus is the Saviour of the World? Or just the few?

Here you have it, motivated by hate and envy, the fabrication of lies and persecution against the Church by devout Sabbath keepers in the very city to whom 2Thessalonians written.
Again, to the Thessalonians in 1Thess. 1:14, Paul writes concerning the rebellious Sabbath keepers, *"they MURDERED BOTH CHRIST AND THEIR OWN PROPHETS."* (As Christ also taught in Mt. 23)
*THEY PERSECUTED US* (THE APOSTOLIC CHURCH)
They *"DON'T PLEASE GOD!"*
And, they are *"CONTRARY TO ALL MEN"!*
All these same things were taught by Christ in Mt. 23.
The rebellion and persecution against the Church Christ himself established is well documented in the actions of the Judaizers who vowed they wouldn't eat or sleep until they murdered the Apostle Paul as they did James and later Peter and others. '
It is the Apostle Paul who wrote these inspired words engraved in scripture for all the world to see in every bible to the Church of Rome in his Epistle called "Romans" : Paul prophesied, *"The God of PEACE will crush Satan under YOUR feet"* *Rom.**16:20* This verse says all you need to know as to whose side people are on. Those who fight the Church of Rome, will be gathered with Satan and be crushed, as promised by the prophetic and inspired words the Apostle Paul, not given over to Satan as the Adventists teach.
Why would you compare all the English translations and then “assume” they are all the same day of the Lord etc. Shouldn’t you be doing a proper word study and going back to the original text (Greek) and comparing from there?

When Jesus said to the Jews, "The kingdom of God is near," or, "at hand," what He meant was that HE is the representative of God standing before them at the time. Jesus did not mean that God is going to fix all of the problems on the earth for you so you don't have to do anything.
The reason all of your conclusions are wrong is because they are based in extremely primitive selfishness. You actually think that God, Jesus, and the angels are supposed to do what you want. That's not how it works.
This is an interesting take as I learn & study the Bible. It definitely made me think. I became Christian less than a year ago and the second coming is something I haven’t been clear on, it’s obviously really difficult to understand.

@@heredeemedme7013 My father used to tell me that God was going to kill everyone who was not a Jehovah's Witness and that we were going to have to go around and bury all the bodies and that it would take us years.
Then I grew up and read the bible myself and realized that it doesn't say that. It says the meek shall inherit the earth. It doesn't say that God will kill people nor does it say that it will happen anytime soon. My dad was afraid of dying so he wanted Armagedon to come during his lifetime. He died in 2005. He was very bitter that God did not do what he wanted.
The truth is that in about 1,000 or more years humans will evolve into meek and gentle beings. God is not going to fix things for you. We have to do it.
I could explain all of it to you, the truth about God, Jesus, angels, the bible, and the universe, but you would reject it because for you to believe anything I say you have to accept one thing, and that is that it's not about you but that is unacceptable to humans. You read the bible and you think that we are the most important thing to God. You think God did it all for us and that God does everything for us. The real truth is that God doesn't even know your name or that the earth even exists.
If you really want to know I will tell you the truth but you won't like it because the truth is that it's not about you. It never was. It never will be.
