When I was four and we had gone back to my Yiayia's village just 2 hours from Athens, my brother, sister and I sat on those orginal steps that were roped off that you showed in the video. We went back just a couple of years ago and I stood in front of those steps and it was so emotional knowing that Yiayia is gone but the memories are still there. Hoping to go back in a couple of years. I hope you enjoyed your visit to Greece.
Your cinematic skills ROCK! You have made me want to see Greece! I have so enjoyed all that you have done on this series! Thanks so much for sharing and I can tell how stoked you were to be there.
Amazing! The view, architecture (and the pulley in the museum...to show how they hoisted the granite), the pottery, sculptures, statues and the ruins....it's mind blowing.
So Amazing, even watching it on video the words cannot describe how beautiful and old Athens is and all the work they are putting in to make it better and preserve it for generations to come. Another great video!
AHHHHMAZING video! Yes, your tour guide is a wealth of knowledge, as you put it. Thank you so much for sharing such an incredible tour. I look so forward to your videos but especially this one, your Greek adventure. I'm assuming next is Cruise Day and the journey you will take over the next week. You truly have the best videos/channel! Thank you!
All I can say is WOW! But I do remember many many years ago when I was there the beautiful city of Athens! I really hasn’t changed that much! Love this video!
22.49 I am Greek and used to work to the museum untill recenlty. You should give a moment to the Karyatides and maybe you should explain that the empty space is the one which waits the 6th Karyatida to return from UK with the rest of the parts missing. To me and all Greeks it is painfull...
Thanks you so much for sharing your adventure! I’m not sure if I’ll ever make it to Athens, so it’s incredible to be able to see what it’s like. After watching this video I really hope I get the chance to go one day!
Your editing is very nice on these videos!! I have learned a lot from the guides. It is fascinating. You both look so happy to be there, which you should. It is awesome how bright the structures look in the sun. It should actually take ones breath away. I am still looking forward to Egypt and the rest of the videos.
It makes you realized how USA is still new world! When we went to Europe it opened our eyes to the world! But I love our USA and have yet to see most of it!
Just a side comment--the word 'Guard' is misspelled on your announcement of the Changing of the Guard, You spelled it GAURD. Unfortunately the changing of the guard had just finished in the excerpt on your film. The two guards walking down had just been on duty for the hour and were being relieved.
Who was your tour guide and how long was the tour. My wife and I will be doing this cruise in about 70 days. Love your video's and ideas gathered from them for this trip.
What was the name of your guide and where to find her? Sorry for all the questions but you guys look like you had alot of fun. That's what we want. Is there any way I can just email you or something . Thanks
I wouldn't make light of the footwear, Steve, until you've learned the story behind the shoes, and actually worn 'Charoukia' as I have. Your comment is disrespectful.
If you ever come to Greece please don't make this comment, even as a joke. It is completely disrespectful. The shoes our guards wear are the shoes our ancestors wore fighting for our freedom and independence and they hid blades in the pom pom. Nothing funny there.
This country is the mother of our western civilization !!God bless GREECE !!

I hope to visit Greece one day!!! Beautiful views
Greece is magical!
Thanks for taking me to Greece!
This is amazing!!! I’m a history nerd, so this is right up my alley! So cool!!!
What sweet memories. I was there a thousand years ago. So happy to see it hasn't changed much.
Nothing but smiles for you two while watching this. I could hear the awe in your voices when you were up on top of the Acropolis. Awe-mazing!! ❤️🇬🇷
The editing is improving. Didn't think it was possible. It was good before...but WOW! Great job!

Wonderful history..great looking trip
I was there this past June. The museum is pretty cool as well. We hired a private tour guide for 8 of us. Was worth every penny !
Amazing! The view, architecture (and the pulley in the museum...to show how they hoisted the granite), the pottery, sculptures, statues and the ruins....it's mind blowing.
I'm so glad you guys got to experience such an awesome trip. I'm sure it'll be especially memorable.

Now that's the kind of tour I'd love to take! Anything with that much history...that always has my interest. And this tour looked pretty cool!
Of course the museum wasn’t there then, but I do remember walking around those ruins! So glad you’re enjoying your amazing trip!
WOW, AHHHHHHHMAZING Video!!! ♥️♥️ added this trip to my bucket list!!! Thank you for sharing!!!

Absolutely stunning!! I can't wait for my cruise to Greece.
Let me ask you a question. What type of shoes do you like for all that walking?
Just a comfortable pair of tennis shoes with a good grip on the bottom for the slick or uneven surfaces.
amazing, thank you for sharing !!
Such a beautiful vlog. Music was perfect. Made me tear up a few times. ❤️
Thanks for the tour. Enjoyed following along. Looking forward to doing this one day
I remember seeing the 'Changing of the Guards' on Amazing Race a few years ago. Cool! Thanks for sharing!
I mentioned your great trip video to my wife. I’m afraid a trip to Greece is in the future ! 😂😂
Yes, it's inevitable. It will happen.
It makes you realized how USA is still new world! When we went to Europe it opened our eyes to the world! But I love our USA and have yet to see most of it!
Amazing
I've been watching. Amazing!!! thank you

AMAZING!!!!!!!!! My 14 yr old son went nuts over the Legos!!
Thanks. Very enjoyable 👍
Really good and interesting thanks!
I'd love so much to visit Athens, but I'm not sure it would be suitable for us....looks very hilly and a lot of steps??
May I ask what are you using to video tape your trip? Me and the wife are going and I would like to get a qualify video recorder. Thank you
Canon G7X Mark ii powershot
Adrian Barrera also recently bought and highly recommend the GoPro Hero 8
@@EECCTravels thank you very much

The tour was arranged through Celestyal Cruises, so I am not sure how to get in touch with her for a private tour.
@@EECCTravels Thank You
You may contect me when you will reach in Athens.
I would like to be your tour guide.
What was the name of your guide and where to find her? Sorry for all the questions but you guys look like you had alot of fun. That's what we want. Is there any way I can just email you or something . Thanks
Unfortunately I do not remember her hame... The tour was organized by Celestyal Cruises. My email is alisa@eecctravels.com
In order to be a Guard, I think you must mug a clown to steal his shoes 😂😂
