Active spoiler, wheelie bar and filters. Quadra V-Tech from Cyberpunk 2077. Part 26

- Hi everyone! I continue assembling Quadra V-Tech from Cyberpunk 2077! In this series, I wanna continue working on the back. I'm gonna make the wheelie bar and filters that are located under the muffler. I'll also make an active rear spoiler with variable geometry.
This project is truly incredible and I hope someone from CD project sees this. Everyone should see this. It's a feat of engineering.
They've commented on earlier parts of this build
@kruleworld Don't think they would he's not planning to make more sell them or saying it's his design
@@kruleworldI doubt that, to be honest. I don't see Mike Pondsmith, the creator of the Cyberpunk franchise, as one who would shut down a fan-made creation, as long as "fair use" applies
@@kruleworld It depends.. CDPR and Mike Pondsmith? They will love it!
@@kruleworld с херали закрыли ?😅
This is still the coolest thing to come from the Cyberpunk fandom.
Absolutely!
Without question
someone needs to make the tyger claw bike out of an ARCH method 143
@@shaboingboing1 call Keanu Reeves and have his company build one then👍
My only dissapointment is being just this dude there's a lack of refined skills and more importantly a lack of funds ie not using a rear engine crashed super car
This is such an amazing build. I grew up around cars and always wanted to customize one like this. This is one of those builds that's so good you almost don't want it to end.
Man, this is just incredible. His ability to craft all of these parts with such a precise look, using low-tech methods (hand-forming metal hangers, using syrofoam cores, etc.) is inspiring. We all should learn these methods before the apocalypse arrives. 😅
You'd be amazed at what super high tech devices and vehicles use foam cores and hand formed composites in industry.
@@patton333 :o
I love how much detail is being achieved with such scuffed fabrication methods. Absolutely bananas what some ingenuity can accomplish when you can don't have too many engineering constraints or concerns and just need it to look right.
Search Bowell cars. Essentially what this guy is doing. Fibreglass diy cars. (Granted I would buy this over a piece of my countries history)
@@jamesbando_original The Nagari 300's tail lights make me yearn for a Honda Integra. :(
cant wait to see the final product. awesome work
Car will be ready for when Cyberpunk Orion comes out
It's looking really nice...makes me wish car manufacturers would make cars that look like this instead of the usual round blobs we have today (unless we look into supercars)
Safety regulation. Crumple zones, pedestrian safety, reinforcement of ABC pillars, etc. Pretty much has dictated the design of cars for the last 20 years at least. Its hard to make cars look good or unique without designing something automotive safety regs would designate as a death box.
This ugly as hell but us white people would love this no kidding
@@WavveBoi Quadra type 66 seems like it would pass regulations
@@shadbud9198 indeed it does. The second point is cost. Round blob crossovers(I'm looking directly at you Chevy Trax) have cheap to manufacture platforms and body panels. The more angles and styling the higher production costs are. The quadra type 66 is pretty much a fast back mustang with a very aggressive wide body aero package similar to a gt3 car. Not very cheap. In fact. There is a production gt3 mustang for the 2024 model year.
Also. The roundness has a better drag coefficient for fuel efficiency while also maintaining the required structural rigidity for safety regs at the lowest cost within reason.
Remember when cars looked terrible from like 2006 to 2010? They were trying to work around all the major changes to safety standards. It took a while to refine the metallurgy and fabrication needed to make cars look okay again. Toyota is a good example of that process. 2004 mustangs looked pretty good. 2005 were mediocre then ok again by 2011.
Sorry. I'm a car nerd.
@@WavveBoiinteresting explanation. I learned something. Thanks. Though I wish I could own something like a Quadra at an affordable price. Maybe in some alternate universe 😢
Would be so awesome to see CDPR reaching out to you at some point and perhaps see your creation at a convention one day. Would be pretty amazing if CDPR ever announced a sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 and have your Quadra V-Tech on display at their booth. 😃
Considering how no one wants to interact with Russians nowadays it's unlikely that CDPR will reach out
Sadly this is a functional model, it would be cheaper for them to just make a shell and fixed metal frame and just ship that around.
@@YourPalQWERTY True, but with a functional model it would be much easier to move it around. Instead of having 4 people trying to put together all the pieces of a mockup over the course of a couple hours; you could simply drive this one to the expo hall and be done with it. 🙂
A shell might be cheaper to ship though because of the lower weight but either way you'd likely need a container to transport all the items.
@@DanakarEndeel I would imagine most expo hall cars are brought in by trailer anyhoo. :P
@@Styphoryte Most likely yeah. All the assets of their booth would also need to arrive and be assembled so delivering them via trailer would be the most effective means. Having a car that can actually be driven would save a lot of time compared to a mockup that needs to be assembled first. But that's just my opinion. I'm simply amazed how this guy with some basic materials is able to create a complete working replica of a Cyberpunk 2077 car in his garage. 🙂
I find this channel and build so refreshing, no ever-edited crap and actually shows what he is doing. A lot or creators would make a 30 minute video with maybe 10 minutes of actual content worth watching.
I stumbled upon this video 2 days ago. I was so impressed by the project that I went back and watch all the parts up to that one. It's really nice to see how much progress was made since he first assembled the foam body on a wooden frame
Keep it up, man. This is my favorite build on YT, or anywhere. No one else is doing this
Looks nova, choom. Can't wait for the final result. Been scrolling these since part 1. Keep up the good work! :D
Initially I didn't realise what the intention of this project was, but then when the penny eventually dropped, I recognised how amazing this was. Well done.
I Don't even need to watch the whole video to know that I already like it ! ☺
This is basically a masterclass on kitbashing at 1:1 scale. Brilliant
Sometimes I forget how capable we are as humans, you are incredibly talented.
In all seriousness, cyberpunk has some of the coolest car designs, and I wish they would make cars like that for real
im convinced this dude has never worked a day in his life. He has been enjoying and having fun with his talents and been compensated for it. Thanks to youtube i get to enjoy this mans journey and appreciate the art that you create. As a gear head and a gamer, THANK YOU
this is the best project i ever seen my entire life you made it so far since 3 years congrats ! it's almost done
My dude made a whole ass car himself with sliding doors and everything, feel the pride this us great.
once again, so glad to see this series continuing man, this stuff is so dope, I really love this build. This is a dream come true seeing this come to life
Finally, updated with all process. How fast time passes by watching these videos
Im loving all the passion and true skill that you are putting into this beautiful build. Once you finish it please let Frank Stephenson review it on his channel. He is a car designer and he loved the car in his video about the vehicles in 2077❤
It's the attention to detail that really sells how much you enjoy the build
got to respect someone who starts a project and sticks to it, and damn is this a big job
The amount of work you put in to one cosmetic piece is astounding. Much respect. I probably would've just shaped it from polymer and coated it in resin but you went above and beyond. I'm in awe of your shop and how many different tools you have available. You can do just about anything.
I come back every now and then to check on this build. This rear end is incredible!!
Been following since the beginning and my god you are an inspiration. Every time a new episode comes out it actually makes me smile; i truly look forward to seeing these updates
Again, absolutely brilliant upload. This just keeps getting better and better
You are absolutely legendary.
I hope they add you in the lore as a Quadra designer or something at the very least.
Legit i caught up on the last four episodes today because id forgotten about the series and then bam. New episode.
*Chefs kiss*
Amazing work. I'm sure the final result will be stunning! Do you plan on making it road operable ? Or just a stunt/prop car?
It's russia, im sure he'll drive it lol
@@stephanel7 I would not drive that on a Russian road especially when its made out of 3d printed materials and wood, literally a single pothole will ruin its looks, I'm more so thinking that is just a prop car unless he finds a decent road especially in the middle of where he lives
He said in the video it can't rest on back wheels lol
@@ionicsourkrout You've misunderstood. He was reffering to the fact that the bump stops did not need to be metal as the car can't stand on its back wheels, or in other words - do a wheelie (like a motorcycle would), as it does not have the power to do so. While in the game the car does not do that, that's presumably why those pieces are there. In the real world realistically only drag cars pull wheelies
@@ionicsourkrout he meant it can’t do wheelies lmao
probably the most nova car build i’ve ever seen. your work is truly impressive choom
Just gonna let you know this, If one day I build a car this guy was my inspiration.
the amount of technica and technologic skill it takes to re-immagine let alone re-create in meta is cool. lol. Looked east due to the smoth transitions from 3D Mode rendering to Welding etc..is super chill. You have to have so much Disciplined time managment and cleanliness is at least worth a standing ovation. sweet..
Piece by piece you're getting closer to getting this thing screen-accurate than I ever thought you would. Amazing work, keep at it!
I am so glad someone is making one of these. Absolutely love the look of them!
I would love to see this thing driving when 100% done
By far one of the most unique builds I’ve seen and the Quadra is one of my favorite car designs in fiction. You’ve done a fantastic job with this I hope it’s going well behind the camera.
I cant waiiiiiiit i love your project man, makes me so happy that at least one of us will be able to drive this beauty
I dont know how I ended up here, but I couldn't stop watching 😂.
These videos are absolutely amazing. This young man truly is an artist and mechanical genius.
R.Talsorian Games and CDPR should immortalize you in the setting after so much hard work, the lengths you're going to replicate the V-Tech is insane to say the least
So many disciplines and trades being used. Craftsmanship. Wow.
this is all excellent work! I'm not sure how I feel about the fake air filters, as they were clearly skillfully done, but I feel that attaching genuine, cheap air filters to pipes leading to nothing would look much more genuine to the game's design then a fiberglass piece. Either way though, it looks great!
when i saw it i tought he was going to at least put real air filters but its ok i still love it
Damn this dude is going all in , coolest project ever
That is pure TH-cam entertainment. Good work, we are following it!
Dude is a genius! This might be the coolest solo creation on the internet.
Jeez, I follow your videos of quadra making and its crazy how much of time and hard work it takes to make stuff like that. I only wish I had that level of perseverance.
being here from the first episodes it going to be amazing to see it finished and driving
I’ve seen this project in my rec feed a few times and passed it up, now imma go and watch the parts I missed. The passion on display here is amazing, I’m excited to see it to the end!
This has to be one of the coolest builds on youtube.
one of the best action figures any body could imagine.
The type of commitment I need to have😭 You are amazing my friend
This project is so awesome your doing a great job
I can’t believe it took me this long to find the progress on this. This is incredible!
as a car guy, a former mechanic, a nerd... this is fantastic!
That is amazing! Especially since I'm enjoying the hell out of Cyberpunk 2077 on PC right now and the Quadra is my favorite vehicle in that game. It reminds me of the lasersterling Lamborghini project.
This is the greatest thing I have seen on the internet all year. Been following this build for a while. Absolutely amazing work!
Unreal. We are witnessing the process of making a masterpiece💪🏻
Looks great. I wonder if the 3D printed parts might get too hot next to the exhaust, but I guess that mostly depends on which filament was used.
In a lot of factory made cars today, sensitive plastics and other materials are often found near exhaust lines all the time. As long as proper care is applied to the vehicle and the entire line stays taken care of, then no harm should come to the surrounding pieces, unless it rusts open in certain places.
@@bionic1matt Yes but most 3D-printed plastics are very heat-sensitive. If they weren't, then the extrusion process would be impossible. Injection molded plastics that automakers use tend to do far better with heat.
@tubbs2132 You're most likely right, im just speaking from what I've seen, and im by no means an expert in the subject lol
@@tubbs2132if it’s abs or nylon it shouldn’t start softening (too badly) until above 100C. Nylon might get a little brittle if it drys out a bit but that internal coating should stop the parts from fragging.
If it’s PLA then it softens around 40C, so a bit more at risk.
it looks like these parts are printed from petg, which is pretty heat sensitive but not as bad as pla. with the glass fiber resin on the inside it probably wont matter anyways, as thatll hold up to the heat pretty easily
its always fun to see another mans work.
It’s crazy how the two tier spoiler transforms the car! Beautiful work I’m excited to see the next video on this build!
can’t wait til this is finished!! will be truly one of a kind
This guy is a genius. Awesome build!! 👍🏻
This is amazing.
I hope you're being safe with all of the chemicals you work with. Good luck with your project.
I am a fan of the Cyberpunk 2077 game . The work you do is so amazing. I will follow the project until the end. Greetings from Poland.
This guy always leaves us wanting more
I am excited and satisfied to see the ingenuity you show in solving problems, a treat
Loving these cyberpunk inspired car projects 😝😎🤘🤘🤘
"the master model was pulled out of the matrix" those are some legendary words
Been here Since part one. By far my favorite build I’ve been keeping up with and it’s so cool to see how far it’s come
This is so freaking awesome! I'm going back to watch the rest of the series now
You're building my dream car, man. Make that interior flawless
The engineering going into this build is still so crazy
That custom spoiler is something else!
Incredible work! However, I'm a bit concerned about the plastic parts being so close to the exhaust pipes. Won't they be at risk of melting?
Master model
Good sticking with it! With Cyberpunk 2.0 coming out this couldn’t be better!!!
amazing! Fingers cross for your projct sir!
It's coming along nicely, looking back to when you started, there is so much completed now. congrats.
This is my favorite thing on TH-cam rn, keep up the good work👍
I want to see this car on the road so much. Such a cool project.
I have been closely following this project, can't wait for this to be complete
You definitely picked the coolest fictional car to bring into the real world!!!
this dude is a body work master holy crap
Great job, amazing work, can't wait to see this quadra finished
The project of this car excites me more than the game itself right now.
Mans has foam, resin, fiberglass, and a dream.
I'm not into Cyberpunk 2077, and not into cars, but this stuff changed it. Awsome project! Keep up the work, in the meantime i'll go, and try to find my dropped jaw lol.
this is actually insane!! honestly in just in awe of your ability, I'm definitely gonna keep an eye on this build, keep it up man!
i was skeptical at first but damn its really coming together, BRAVO!!
I've I was a millionaire, I would have to hire you full time for the sole purpose of just making me Cyberpunk vehicles. This is so freakin cool. Keep it up man!
Might want to readjust that resting angle for the spoiler looks like it will be creating lift instead of downforce
I was just talking to my neighbor about this project the other day. That timing though, you love to see it.
My god man, this is amazing to see how much dedication and hard work you're putting into this project. The Quadra Turbo-R is one of the coolest cars in the game. It's so cool that you're bringing it into real life.
Love your videos man, keep up the good work
this gonna be a master piece when its done
I love that your even attempting this build, Cyberpunk has come to be one of my favorite video games and universes, I hope CD Project reaches out to you to do a collab or something because the thought of this is so cool!
Awesome project. I look forward to all your updates!
This guy is cosplaying an entire car. Very cool project.
