I have a similar saw. It was one of Milwaukee's earliest models. The ergonomics of it leave something to be desired (like the trigger), but the thing is bullet proof and has stood up to "enthusiastic" employees for decades.
Took me a minute to figure out what has happened! You have been at your face with the weed whacker! We still recognise Mr.S. by his voice! CHEERS from Westcoast Canada!
Another great, inspring and very informative video. However I don't quite understand how the single pattern is going to work as the planks are surely of different lengths. No doubt all will become clear.
Must be great to have such a loyal and skilled partner like Ken
Do they still work on this nice boat? Such a long time no video 😢
Lou, your enthusiasm for your work is inspiring, thanks for sharing your skills with a wider audience.
I love that after all these years of being a boatbuilder Lou still acknowledges he can learn new things all the time!
Geniuses being funny. Love it!
Now that outtake was funny.
Looking forward to an update :)

Love every video! A nice touch, the little outtake at the end.

Ken has a starboard list.
Lou is the Sir Isaac Newton of boatbuilding. Truly a genius.
And it you don't believe it just ask him.
…listing 30 degrees to starboard.
